At present, domestic archives within the realm of performing arts predominantly focus on recording through videos, yet they often lack comprehensive documentation of crucial production processes and content services. Recognizing the contemporary significance of archival content services, this study analyzes the archival content within the national performing arts archives websites of the United Kingdom and the United States, serving as international benchmarks. The findings extrapolate insights and implications to propose enhancements for the Museum of Performing Arts in the National Theater of Korea. The analysis focused mainly on the missions and visions on the websites, examining 107 contents from the UK National Theater, 27 from the United States, and 9 from Korea. The suggested improvements encompass clarifying target users and execution tasks in the mission and vision statements, fostering expert collaborations, incorporating preview features, curating content with a single theme, and organizing a comprehensive list on the National Theater's YouTube channel.

The first organization of the 'national Archives of France' was defined by a law voted during the Revolution, the law of June 25, 1794 which is remained into force during nearly two century-until with the law of January 3, 1979. This law is regarded as the text founder of the national Archives of France, mainly thanks to its article 48 which posed the principle of the free communicability of the whole of the documents of national Archives of France. But it had initially as an aim to organize and frame sortings of the documents gathered in great number since the beginning of the French revolution. Its principal provision does not leave astonish us: it envisaged a separation between the documents to be eliminated, the useful documents has the administration, only intended to be preserved in national Archives of France?, and the documents interesting for the history, which were intended for the national Library.

Managing and preserving parliamentary archives are significant national tasks. However, in South Korea significance of these tasks have not been recognized. The first exclusive organization for parliamentary archives management was established in 2000, It took about 50 years after the first South Korean government was established in 1948. The first legislation which regulated parliamentary archives management was enacted in 2001. There were no significant improvement on the regulation for the last decade. In April 2011 it was newly revised according to the amendment of the Act on Public Records Management. In this context this study critically analyzes the regulation and discusses various issues concerning the parliamentary archives management system. It divides the history of parliamentary archives management into four periods. It also explores four contentious issues ranging from parliamentary archive designation to archivists assignment. As a result, the study presents four different aspects for developing parliamentary archives management Each aspect proposes three different phased problems respectively. Korea is a record powerhouse nation with the largest number of Memory of the World in the Asia-Pacific; however, active utilization of archives for future generations has been lacking. Therefore, this study sought to enhance interest in archives and utilize them directly in school lessons. The Korean National Debt Redemption Movement's archives, which were selected as a Memory of the World, were used in the school lessons, and based on them, a library collaborative instruction design was developed. A library collaborative instruction is a collaboration between the high school Korean history subject and the library information literacy instruction, designed in three sessions. Through the literature research-based design, a library collaborative instruction plan, teaching and learning plan, and activity sheets were derived. Implementing this designed library collaborative instruction is expected to stimulate interest in the Memory of the World, linking curriculum and archives at schools and significantly expanding the users of the archives into teachers and students.

Nowadays, Social Network Service (SNS), which has been in the spotlight as a way of communication, has become a most effective tool to improve easy of information use and accessibility for users. In this paper, we chose Twitter as the most representative SNS services because of automatic crawling and investigated tweet data gathered from domestic and foreign National Archives - NARA of U.S.A., TNA of U.K.. NAA of Australia, and National Archives of Korea. We also conducted information genres analysis and trend analysis by timeline. Information genres analysis shows how archives satisfied users' information needs as well as trends analysis of tweets helps to understand how users' interestedness was changed. Based on comparison results, we distilled four characteristics of National Archives and suggested vitalization ways for National Archives of Korea.

This paper analyses the theories and practices of the integrated management of records and archives in china which means that records and archives management departments should be interrelated each other with organic association and their records and archives be managed in an integrated manner. In 1930s chinese nationalist regime had conducted a campaign for reforming documents and archives management system to increase administrative efficiency called "The Connection of Documents and Archives Management Act(文書檔案連鎖法)". Although this campaign has not been continued to the present, It has been proved to be a quite successful attempt at that time in china and also regarded as an origin of the integrated management of records and archives in china. The practical types of the integrated management of records and archives as follows: first is to establish institutional documents/archives department in charge of managing records and archives in an integrative manner; second, to reform filing system, that is, to file on a case basis or abolish filing system and arrange records on an item level instead; third, to install software application for the integrated management of records and archives in order to make arranging operations convenient by increasing data processing efficiency. The chinese case shows us that the integrated management of records and archives could not be realized until records and archives departments make united efforts to build up a new national records and archives management system based on advanced and scientific principles.

As the amount of digital collections has been increasing, a new approach is needed to improve access to records. Interactive visualization allows users to more easily browse and navigate across large collections. Cultural heritage institutions in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia introduced interactive visualization techniques to diversify ways by which to access archival records. This study aims to propose a method for applying interactive visualization to archival collections. It began with an analysis of interactive visualization cases in overseas cultural heritage institutions. Based on the analysis, a visualization of the collections held by the National Archives of Korea using various interactive visualization techniques was suggested.

Recently, as the importance of user-oriented archives management is becoming increasingly, government archives try to serve interactive services using social network service (SNS) beyond one-way approaches. This study aims to analyze usage of government archives service in social media and examine users' interestedness. We especially select "National Archives of Korea" and "Presidential Archives" as target government archives and collect tweets from 2010 to 15th April 2016. Our study adopts informetric approaches and social media analysis including buzz analysis, time series analysis. We differentiate between the tweet collection posted by government archives themselves and the other collection generated by general users. Furthermore we conduct correlation analysis of tweet and social issues and propose application plan for government archives services in social media environment.

Quxian Archives is the institution collecting, managing and preserving archives and historical materials of each institution, group and individual of pertinent districts and prefectures. This study investigated 16 Quxian Archives in Beijing and surrounding areas in a bid to conduct overseas case study of archives of primary local governments or municipalities. Establishment status, function and organization of Quxian Archives were studied in terms of management. And collection range, method of collection and characteristics of archives in possession were studied in terms of archives of Quxian Archives. Through this study, the construction of informatization of resources of archives and establishment of integrated retrieval system on national level are expected. It is also expected that this will contribute to the establishment of archives of Korea's primary local governments and municipalities, working as one of overseas example of operation.

The study aims to determine the areas and elements of usability evaluation that reflect the characteristics of the archival contents collections in the National Archives of Korea, and to evaluate the usability of the "Decisions Relating to the Independence Movement" collection for history majors. Through the findings, the relation and importance level that usability evaluation areas and elements have on overall satisfaction can be identified. As a result of this study, the areas of content, search, and interface all had positive effects on overall satisfaction. The interface area holds the greatest influence, and the two elements on each area were found to have a positive effect. On the other hand, users selected the order of importance as "search" first, "contents" second, and "interface" third, showing that interface was considered relatively less important. Based on this, we propose improving the usability direction of the archival contents collection of the National Archives of Korea.
