Marvelous calligraphy-woodcarving artwork was made by using the mysterious beauty of anatomical structure of wood. The wooden artwork uses not only beautiful external appearance of wood, but it also uses the mysterious beauty of anatomical micro structure of wood which can only be observed through optical microscope or scanning electron microscope. The characteristics of anatomical structure of wood were presented through various carving techniques. The used wood species for the artwork include Quercus acutissima Carruth., Cinnamomum japonicum Sieb., Betula davurica PALL, Magnolia kobus A.P.DC, Populus maximowiczii HENRY, Betula schmidtii REGEL and Plerocaya stenoptera DC. These various types of woodcarving techniques are anticipated to be applied to the techart marketing for architecture as a field of environment art.

This study was formed to propose a theoretical background trying to create a positive delivery experience by understanding college women's subjective accounts (their view and attitude) on delivery. Method: Q- methodology was used to appreciate the highly abstract concept in an objective manner, since delivery can be assessed differently with each experience. Result: There were three types of opinions about the delivery in college women. The first type (matured type) understood delivery to be a precious experience that enables women to gain the value of life through labor pain, and granted then more appreciation to their own mothers. The second type (will type) recognizes delivery as an option rather than an obligation for women. They think women chooses whether or not to experience the process, especially since delivery requires a great deal of responsibility. The third type (positive type) takes delivery as a valuable, worthwhile, and marvelous process that they wish to experience. They are not even afraid of giving birth multiple times. Conclusion: The study explains and allows us to understand college women's overall opinion and attitudes about delivery. Thus this study aids the seizure of an opportunity to build a theoretical base for delivery management.

The main objective of this paper is to control a trajectory tracking of the fish-mimetic robot by CPG (Central Pattern Generator), which is biological approach. CPG is biological neural networks that generate rhythmic movements for locomotion of animals, such as walking, running, swimming and flying. Animals show marvelous ability of autonomous dynamic adaptation for an unsteady fluid dynamic environment or various environments. So, we propose the 3-DOF CPG controller to track the trajectory of the fish robot in plane motion. The conformity of the proposed control algorithm is validated by simulation for a fish robot model, which is made by a commercial dynamic package.

Corbicula (Corbiculina) papyracea (Heude) is fresh water clam which lives on the sands and muds, its size was about 3~25 mm with yellow gray color. Shell width of the clam is thin and smooth and growth lines are marvelous and inside of shell colored pink or pink with red. And the clam reproduces itself through virgin generation (Park et al., 1989), ovoviviparous (Kwon et al., 2001) method. There are reports about Corbicula by Kim and Yoo (2000), Kwon et al. (1987), and Lee et al. (1985) but there aren't many report about C. (C.) papyracea. The aim of this work is to present the dynamics of D.(C.) papyracea from Chungpyeong.

초현실주의는 무한에 대한 동경, 무의식의 탐구 등으로 전통적인 서구 합리주의와 대립하는 미학관을 성립시켰다. 초현실주의의 주된 관심사는 정체성과 차이의 문제이며 '경이', '발작적 아름다움', '객관적 우연' 등과 같은 불가사의한 개념으로 그들만의 독특한 시도를 하였다. 이러한 그들의 독특한 미학관은 여러 가지 예술적 양식을 통해 표현 되어졌다. 그 중의 하나가 바로 초현실주의의 대표적인 표현 장치인 데페이즈망이다. 데페이즈망은 물체를 본래 있던 곳에서 '떼어내는 것'을 의미한다. 따라서 현실적 사물들을 대상으로 하여 그 본래의 용도, 기능, 의미를 현실적 공간에서 이탈, 환경을 변화시켜 그것이 놓여 질 수 없는, 또는 사물의 속성과는 관련성이 없는 낯선 장소에 조합시킴으로 초현실적인 환상을 창조해 내는 기법이다. 다시 말해 표현공간에서 사물 본래의 일상적인 질서나 배경, 분위기 등을 떼어내어, 자기장소를 떠나 존재하는 사물들이 새로이 '배치'하는 것이다. 시간과 공간을 초월하여 '재구성'된 이 사물들은 우리에게 경이와 심리적 충격을 안겨주며, 낯선 의미와 느낌을 전달하게 된다. 본 논문은 매체에 적용된 데페이즈망의 활용에 대해 고찰한 것이다. 특히 애니메이션의 적용에 논의의 초점을 둘 것이다. 애니메이션은 기타 다른 매체와는 달리 독특한 미학적 특성들을 지니고 있다. 우선 애니메이션은 분절 촬영으로 손에 의해 생성된 창조적 이미지이다. '배치'를 통해 생성된 애니메이션 이미지는 특유의 운동성으로 생명력을 얻는다. 노먼 맥라렌의 <환타지>와 해리 스미스의 <하늘과 땅의 마법>은 이러한 데페이즈망의 구조적 특성을 잘 반영한 흥미로운 작품으로, 추상적 형태와 다양한 움직임으로 이루어져, 관객에게 다양한 영화적 형식을 지각하도록 만든 작품이다. 여기서 우리는 생물과 무생물의 전위, 공간과 시간, 생성과 소멸, 반복과 변형 등 무수한 환상을 체험하게 되는데, 그 주된 장치는 애니메이션 프레임 공간의 데페이즈망을 강화한데서 기인한다고 할 수 있다. 결론적으로, 데페이즈망은 초현실주의의 대표적인 예술기법 중 하나인 동시에 애니메이션과 필연적인 연결고리를 갖는 양식이다.

Computers and communication technologies have been brought tremendous change to various aspects of an ever-fast changing world at present. Particularly, the use of internet and cyberspace is widespread in every comer of our life. We developed a cyber shell museum using an animation technology. It was developed for educational purposes, and accessible through the world wide web of internet. Cyber shell museum is consisted of five compartment including rare shells, marvelous shells, shell of the world, the shell of Korea and its story of shells. The database contains the pictures and related information of the shell and it implies not only animation display but also text information. The files of database were classified depending on the species, genus, family, order, and class and division of the shell. Picture of shells is displayed and user may reach the image and virtual view information by clicking through the object displayed. This provides multiple techniques to user may manipulate, visualize and interact with image on the web. And every such transformation as translation, rotation, and scaling can be applied in the picture interactively for the convenient and effective viewing.

Fashion designs reflect the trend of the times embedded within the cultural structures of eastern and western civilizations as well as the traditional styles. However, the motives in fashion designs fundamentally come from human beings' willingness for creation through deep understand of nature or using symbolism and artificial esthetic appreciation. Mankind has expressed their willingness for creation through speculation not with the attitude of conquering nature but by acknowledging the flow between their lives and nature. The purpose of this paper is to investigate human beings' transcendental and embracing attitude toward the natural environment and the human environment in fashion design. In natural environment factors, sublimity toward nature's marvelous powers and the transcending state of mind within happiness and delight or the extreme fear or unavoidable coerciveness and the consequential daunting feelings and smallness, and sorrow all stimulate the will of mental speculation and cause a transcending sublimity. A sublime state of mind does not exist in a superficial framework of enjoyment. It is rather an act of transcendence and embracement residing in a sublime object and leading man's spirit into a state of philosophical thought. Also, in man-made Environment factors, we found from magnanimity we were ability to see the true nature of an era's culture.

Microsurgery, which deservedly sits on top of the reconstruction ladder, has been a boon to plastic surgery. It is because of this marvelous tool that plastic surgeons the world over have been able to tackle many reconstructive dilemmas, which were once considered to be an improbability. Microsurgery-aided revolutions have rendered a new meaning to all forms of reconstruction-whether it is postoncological, posttraumatic, or postlymphedema reconstruction. As the most advanced reconstructive medium at our disposal that has broadened the horizons of plastic surgery exponentially, it is but obvious that many budding plastic surgeons are drawn toward this subspecialty. In lieu of the aforementioned facts, it is necessary to sensitize all such aspiring surgeons about the various intricacies concerning the field of microsurgery. This article with its focus on the six desirable microsurgical attributes of "Clarity, Curiosity, Perseverance, Passion, An Open Mindset and Action," is meant to be a modest attempt on part of the authors to share their microsurgical insights, procured through their respective journeys, with budding aspirants, hoping to sensitize as well as motivate them for the challenging path that lies ahead.

터널화재 시 위험을 경감시키기 위해 설치하는 물분무설비의 성능을 실대 시험을 통해 확인하였다. A급 화재, Pool 화재 및 차량화재시 물분무노즐은 뜨거운 연기의 온도를 낮추는데 효과가 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 터널에 기류가 존재하는 경우에도 냉각효과가 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 이 결과를 통해 물분무설비는 터널화재 시 기류온도를 낮춤으로써 fire jump를 방지하고, 주위의 시설물을 보호할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

The tendency of the Minimalism in the contemporary a architecture is based on Mies van der Rohe s saying ‘나SS IS m more" as the principle of the Minimal art and its formative c composition. It can be divided into technical Minimalism p prevailed in Northern Europe and the zone of German l language, and the regional one in Southern Europe and S Southern America. The former is interested in the experiences of the techniques and materials, and the latter in that of the s space and the place through the simple forms. The minialistic approach to the architecture is nat only m methodological one.
