Qualitative and quantitative composition of meiobenthos was studied in Amursky Bay (Peter the Great Bay, the East Sea). Ten taxonomic groups were found, where nematodes were dominant. Density of meiobenthos in ground sediments of the Bay were not uniform, and the average density was measured at $126.4{\pm}62.3ind.mo^{-2}$. 56 species of nematodes were detected, and dominant species were Sabatieria palmaris, Paracanthonchus macrodon, Sphaerolaimus limosus, S. gracilis and Oncholaimium ramosum. Five taxocenes of nematodes were allocated based on the results of cluster analysis and species domination according to density. Low diversity in species composition of nematodes was noted in the northwestern part of the Bay, which is a zone of desalination, and in the eastern part, which is exposed to household drains.

Research on Korean nematocerous flies (Diptera: Nematocera) was started by the National Institute of Biological Resources in 2012. This publication is a continuation of our previous work. During the season of 2019 insects were collected in Odaesan National Park by the researchers from Korea University. Among these samples, two specimens belonging to the family Hesperinidae, which was previously unrecorded from Korea, were noticed. This family is known from countries bordering Korea (East Siberia and Far East of Russia, Hokkaido Island of Japan), thus occurrence of hesperinid flies was expected on the Korean Peninsula. Only one genus Hesperinus Walker, 1848 with eight species belong to this family. They are developing in decaying wood of deciduous trees. Hesperinus rohdendorfi Krivosheina & Mamaev, 1967, which was known from East Siberia and Far East of Russia is recorded from South Korea. Redescription and photographs of the most important taxonomical details are presented.

Currently, Safety accidents have been raised & more concerned despite that Government has emphasized on preventing accidents in construction area of Korea. An accident is due to several causes of it, thus this the study, as the above, will specify the methodology to establish more effective safety prevention plan, itself, compared to most studies being based on a case, specially for the projects under Far-East District, Corps of Engineers, USA. Additionally, this study will be limitted for performance method and the projects will not be classified with the same sorts as domestic ones are.

A taxonomic study of the Palearctic species of the genus Brachyserphus is presented. Two species are newly described as B. acuticaudatus sp. n. and B. semipunctatus sp. n. from South Korea and the Russian Far East. B. striatopropodeatus (Kolyada 1997 syn. n.) is synonymized under B. lucens (Provancher 1883) and a key to the Palearctic species is provided.

Previously, studies concerning the Russian dialects have been mainly focused on northern, central, and southern dialects limited to western Russia of Ural Mountains. On the contrary, the Siberian and Far-eastern dialects have been completely disregarded to the main stream of the Russian dialectology. As a result of a poll concerning this idea, the majority has answered that there is no dialect in Siberian and Far-east regions. Though the reasons for the outcome of the poll could vary, it could not be simply accepted that there is no dialect in such vast regions. Thus, a survey has took place to examine the existence of dialects in the regions of Siberia and Far-east. The first phase of the survey inquired the residents of the regions including Siberia and Far-east to respond to questions regarding 83 vocabularies on wedding in contrast to the regions covering western Ural and Moscow. The 23 informants were residents of the concerned regions who have come to visit Pushkin National Institute of Russian Language and, others, Korea. The questionnaires used in this survey were partly obtained from the questionnaires originated by the Language Institute of St. Petersburg National University. Although the limited range of regions and a small number of respondents who partook in this survey could raise some issues on the table, it is relevant to understand that this study would open up the path for the development of studies concerning regional dialects in the future.

Recently, master plan on the Far East three provinces in China as well as the Russian Far East coupling with 'Eurasia Initiatives' of our government is doubling its importance. It should take advantage of Zarubino port for the hub of Eurasia Logistics Network. This study forecasts the volume demand and whether the expected items of cargo traffic of Zarubino port with O/Ds for the region including the Far East three provinces in China. Input data and the existing basic unit of Korea were utilized in order to overcome the absence of the relevant information to the region. It was derived by them confined to the industrial complex facility in Jilin Sheng on behalf of the Far East three provinces in China as a pilot study. Suitable for the transport sector as a basis for traditional traffic demand, four-step method for estimating the proposed modifications, complementing methodologies. This study is determined that the contribution to the implications on the region's logistics policies of our government has a commitment with raising awareness of the region's Logistics system.

Dynamic range on the digital detector can be a representation to the ratio of maximum and minimum of pixel value. Wide dynamic range and post processing ability of the digital detector made difficult to recognize visually to high or low dose images. We were evaluated a change of mean pixel value on the original and processed image, when we controlled the kVp, mA, exposure time on the digital detector. On the kVp of a constant condition, we were acquired an original and processed image by changes of mA, exposure time. According to the thickness of the subject under the same conditions, to determine a relation of pixel value and X-ray intensity, we used an aluminum step wedge. When mA and exposure times were changed under the kVp of a constant condition, the X-ray intensity was decreased by the reduction of the mean pixel value. In addition when kVp was increased in a constant condition of mAs, the mean pixel value was increased according to the increment of the X-ray intensity. Therefore, low kVp, high mA and short exposure time were a way to reduce a patient dose.

The purpose of this study is to detect challenges and matters for improvement, an recent emerging export market with high potential for Korean agricultural products, and to finally find out measures to increase agricultural export to the market. In order to expand the export of agricultural products to Russian Far East, first of all, Competitiveness in terms of quality and price could be enhanced by improving production facilities, developing new technologies and improving logistical system. Secondly, the export volume should be secured in a stable manner, and it can be achieved by systematically running a larger export organization and unifying contact points. Thirdly, the screening, transportation and storage of agricultural products at low temperature should be offered at the local transportation and distribution stage. Fourthly, the consumers of Russian Far East have very little knowledge of the Korean agricultural products. To overcome this, more active PR, promotional and marketing activities are required.

It was decided by national vote in Panama to expand the Panama canal. Therefore 12,000TEU sized vessel can pass the canal from 2014. The Far East-North America shipping route, over than post panamax size vessels have to use other routes such as Miniland bridge instead of using the panama canal due to limitation of canal size. Therefore, some changes in the transport route in Far East-North America are expected due to expansion of Panama canal. The objective of this paper is to analyze the transport cost between Far East and North America then compare the competition between Panama canal route and land bridge route.
