  • IMT-2000에서는 음성 트래픽뿐만 아니라 데이타, 화상, 비디오와 같은 멀티미디어 트래픽을 지원함으로서 더 많은 무선 대역폭이 요구된다. 특히 멀티미디어 데이타의 전송 중에 핸드오프가 발생한다면, 기지국은 멀티미디어 데이타의 QoS를 유지하기 위하여 효율적인 대역 할당 및 핸드오프 방안이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 IMT-2000 환경에서 이동체의 이동 방향을 추정하여 이를 근거로 대역폭을 예약하고, 멀티미디어 트래픽을 전송하는 핸드오프 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법은 섹터 추정과 존 추정으로 구성된 2 단계 추정에 근거하여 이동체의 위치와 이동 방향을 결정하고 이를 이용하여 대역폭을 예약한다.

Analysis of Attires and Decorative Features in Formal Context -Emphasis on Formal Attires of Bride and Bridegroom′s Mothers in Families′Wedding photographs- (여성 한복의 형태 및 장식의 변화 분석 -결혼사진에 나타난 신랑, 신부 어머니 복식을 중심으로-)

  • The purposes of the study were to analyze the changes in formal attires and decorative features of middle age Korean women during the last half of 20th century and to find out any significant differences in formal attires according to periods. The study was a documentary research, and data were collected from 344 family wedding photographs by convenient sampling. The statistics used were content analysis, frequency and a time series analysis, and the results were as follows : 1. Four schematic clusters of formal attires were categorized according to skirt(chima) length and width, jacket(jogori) length, motifs and decorative features; simple classic, decorative classic, fashionable, and extravagant fashionable. Simple classic attires were popular until 1960s, the decorative classics were appeared from late 1960s to 1970s, fashionable attires were introduced from the late 1970s and the attires became more luxurious and extravagant until 2000. 2. Color symbolism in couples mothers'attires according to the couples gender - pink or red for the bride's mother and blue or green for groom's mother - was introduced from the late 1970s, and reached the maximum level by the early 1980s but slowly disappeared after the late 1980s. 3. The complete fashion cycle did not exist in the formal attires'change, however, since the Period of data were ranged from 1943 to 2000, the 57 years period may not long enough to measure a complete fashion cycle.

Analytical Quantification and Effect of Microstructure Development in Thick Film Resistor Processing

  • Microstructure developments of $RuO_2$ based thick film resistors during firing as a function of glass viscosity were analytically quantified and its effect on the electrical property was investigated. The microstructure development was retarded as the viscosity of glass was increased. It was found that the viscosity range for each stage of microstructure development are as follows ; $7500-10^5Pa{\cdot}s$ for the glass sintering, $2000-7500Pa{\cdot}s$ for the glass island formation, $700-2000Pa{\cdot}s$ for the glass spreading, and $50-700Pa{\cdot}s$ for the infiltration. The sheet resistivity decreased as the viscosity of glass in the resistor film increased due to the higher chance of sintering for the conductive particles with the higher viscosity of the glass.

  • The purpose of this study is to rediscover the hidden value of non-mainstreamers style which has been overlooked for the past decade by investigate the aesthetics and formative features of the Grunge fashion. The Grunge fashion was derived from explosive popularity of the early 90's grunge music. Grunge was the alternative anti-thesis against mainstream pop music and anti-fashion against mainstream fashion. Dirty, rubbish grunge style of the poor street youth and grunge musicians have raised to the high fashion by designers. And These trial of designers made people to notice the value of the non-mainstreamers street style like grunge. Actually, the grunge brought the shock with many argument to the 90's fashion field. But now, It became the classic of the street fashion. And It has potent influence on the music, culture and high fashion. The Grunge is a kind of links between music and fashion, street fashion and high fashion, sub culture and mainstream culture, the past and now. Grunge isn't only a fashion of appearance. It is the attitude of wearing clothes and living a life. Variety grunge style in the international street fashion, high fashion, typical musicians's fashion of the 1990's and the 2000's was researched for this study. These materials were gathered from music magazines, fashion magazines, movies, musics and books. As a results of analysis, Grunge has the formative features like mix & match, layering, patchwork, primitive edge, rag, retro, recycle, kinderwhore, sneer scribbling, disheveled hair. Grunge also has the Aesthetic features like the beauty of $disorder{\cdot}\;disharmony{\cdot}\;incompleteness{\cdot}\;kitsch{\cdot}\;poverty{\cdot}\;alternative{\cdot}\;eclectic{\cdot}$symbiosis. For the last 10 years, These features changed our fashion be more pluralistic and dynamic.
