There are many mountains in Korean Peninsula, and those used for the construction of roads and railways sectors are forming slopes. Slope collapse occurs with falling rocks and landslide because of the relaxation of the thawing rocks. The heavy rain in summer can also significantly contribute to the process, and abnormal climate change is much more influential than before. Therefore, rockfall-related accidents in rainy season are easily accessible in media every year. There has been a lot of research on application of strengthening compensation of the sections in order to minimize casualties and property damage. Rockfall Protection Net, however, has not been focused on much in the field yet. This study highlights the need of Rockfall Protection Net, since it can segregate the falling rocks inside the net relatively safely. Although there has been a little doubt about the effectiveness of rockfall protection facilities, it is obvious that relevant studies dealing with the solidity of the net are necessary for the rockfall protection net to be capable of supporting rockfall energies. As a result, Expanded metal strength is much more durable compared to the PVC coating net, and it is regarded as an excellent alternative material for the Rockfall Protection Net. In this study, the applicability of Expanded Metal as the alternative of Rockfall Protection Net is verified experimentally.

Stratified slope was formed on the SSE-facing slope in the southwest region of Haenam, South Korea. Field and laboratory investigations into the geomorphology and sedimentology of stratified slope deposit that is inactive. Outcrops of this deposit show an alteration of coarse debris-supported matrix and tiny debris-supported matrix layers. Sedimentological analysis(particle-size analysis) indicates that this deposit is not fluvial process or only gravitation like rock-fall. Many clasts and fine materials on the slope is supposed to be product by congelifraction under Pleistocene periglacial climatic environment. Also The processes responsible for the genesis of this deposit probably are to move downward by gelifluction and to remove fine materials by slope wash in thawing cycle and in situ debris congelifraction on gelifluction slope. Now It is impossible to account for the time range of genesis(diurnal, seasonal). In conclusion, this stratified slope formed in cold and humid periglacial environmental in pleistocene, therefore, this slope is a periglacial relic landform, indicates that in south korea there was a cold and humid paleo-climate such as periglacial environmen.

Adolescents with disabilities have unnatural behavior and language, which makes it difficult to use soft and flexible language and behavior, and lack of learning experience has limitations in not being free in mature behavioral communication. Eurhythmics musical rhythm elements were divided into time and space, power and weight, and balance and fluidity and reflected in teaching and learning so that adolescents with disabilities could have comfortable, creative, and original thoughts that bring about changes in thawing. In order to increase the effectiveness of education in the direction of observing the effect of improving self-esteem, communication, and creativity of adolescents with disabilities, the study guide applying the Eurhythmics rhythm element was fused with music education, art education, and physical education, and interviewed by selecting research participants. Based on the questionnaire, an observation method suitable for the study of adolescents with disabilities was conducted. As a result of the study, it was observed that the educational effect of the disabled youth was improved as a result of conducting the class by applying the Eurhythmics rhythm elements time and space, force and weight, balance and fluidity by integrating music, art, and physical education(line dance, playtime). Therefore, to supplement the limitations in this learning process, various educational methods applicable to the education of youth with disabilities, a support system that can reflect Eurhythmics education through physical play, and a method to properly compose various learning tools do.

In this study, we tried to develop a coating agent for the fresh-cut fruits used in cakes. First, the coating agent mixing ratios of sugar, pectin, sodium alginate, carrageenan, xanthan gum, vitamin C, and purified water were selected to be 55, 2, 2, 0.04, 0.1, 0.05, and 40.81% (w/w), respectively. In a freeze-thaw stability of the coating agent, the viscosity remained constant for 3 cycles of freezing and thawing repetition process, but showed a slightly decreasing trend in the 4th repetition process (P<0.05). On the other hand, the sugar content, pH, and chromaticity remained constant even in the 4th repetition process. Pineapple coated with the coating agent had smaller weight loss, hardness changes, and total bacteria distribution compared to the uncoated pineapple (P<0.05). In the chromaticity, both of the two pineapples experienced browning with increasing storage duration, as L value decreases and b value increases. However, when the color difference was compared, the progress of browning for the uncoated pineapple was faster than the coated pineapple. Also, the progress of browning at $4^{\circ}C$ was found to be slower than the progress of browning at $25^{\circ}C$. Therefore, the storage stability of the fresh-cut fruits could be improved by coating the fresh-cut fruits for cakes with the coating agent and storing at a low temperature, which would contribute to extending the shelf-life of cakes.
This experiment was carried out to study on methods of processing the fruit base which is to be used for preparing the fruit yoghurts. Common fruits were compared and peach was chosen among them for this purpose by determing the rate of decrease in hardness during the process of cooking. The maturity, temperature of cooking and methods of peeling were tested to maintain the desirable hardness during the process, and the effects of metallic ion addition on the hardness of the flesh were also studied. The results obtained were as follows. 1. The peaches were keeping the most stable texture during cooking, among common fruits, however the hardness of apples were decreased markedly. Rate of decreases in the flesh hardness were high during the initial stages of cooking then slowered in all fruits tested. 2. Flesh hardness of the peaches were largely affected by the temperature of cooking. And the texture of freeze-stored fruits was severly damaged during thawing, so that could be used only for the limited purposes such as for stirred-type yoghurt. 3. Divalent matallic ions, especially calcium ion, were effective for supporting the flesh hardness of peaches during cooking. 4. The optimal concentration of calcium chloride addition was 0.3%, and this resulted in its final concentration in the product under the legal dosage without any subsquent changes in colour and flavor. 5. The effects of calcium chloride addition were greater in the froms of dices than in those of slices, and in overmature fleshs than in immature ones. 6. Treatment of calcium chloride by soaking the slices or dices of lye-peeled peaches in 0.3% solution was found to be adaptable for the practical process.
Global warming has made the polar regions more accessible, leading to increased demand for the construction of new resource-development plants in oil-rich permafrost regions. The selection of locations of resource-development plants in permafrost regions should consider the surface displacement resulting from thawing and freezing of the active layer of permafrost. However, few studies have considered surface displacement in the selection of optimal locations of resource-development plants in permafrost region. In this study, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis using a range of geospatial information variables was performed to select optimal locations for the construction of oil-sands development plants in the permafrost region of southern Athabasca, Alberta, Canada, including consideration of surface displacement. The surface displacement velocity was estimated by applying the Small BAseline Subset Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar technique to time-series Advanced Land Observing Satellite Phased Array L-band Synthetic Aperture Radar images acquired from February 2007 to March 2011. ERA5 reanalysis data were used to generate geospatial data for air temperature, surface temperature, and soil temperature averaged for the period 2000~2010. Geospatial data for roads and railways provided by Statistics Canada and land cover maps distributed by the North American Commission for Environmental Cooperation were also used in the AHP analysis. The suitability of sites analyzed using land cover, surface displacement, and road accessibility as the three most important geospatial factors was validated using the locations of oil-sand plants built since 2010. The sensitivity of surface displacement to the determination of location suitability was found to be very high. We confirm that surface displacement should be considered in the selection of optimal locations for the construction of new resource-development plants in permafrost regions.

The estimation of the pre-processing condition of oyster is of great importance for distributors and processors. This study was attempted to establish the basic data for evaluating the processing suitability of oyster, which is the most important shellfish for domestic use and export. The data were analysed by measuring the condition index, chemical composition and heavy metal content of oysters. In order to eliminate the manual work that has to be done on a tightly closed oyster shell and avoid shrinkage in the oyster meat which is attendant on the steaming process, chemical means to open oyster were examined. finding the method of pretreatment of polyphosphate for frozen oysters were attempted to improve the product quality. The prevention of undesirable color change of the canned oyster meat is another problem to solve. The important results are as follows : 1. The ratio of meat volume and meat weight to the holding capacity by shells may be useful as an index to measure the condition index of oysters. 2. As a whole, monthly changes of moisture and fat content in oysters were reversely correlated. Protein content slightly decreased from April and rapidly decreased in July, and again rapidly increased in August but from September to November decreased slightly. In April, the content of glycogen was 4 percent. From this period to September, glycogen was rapidly decreased. From July to September, it was only 0. 7 to 1 percent but increased from October. There were little seasonal changes in pH value. The pH value of oyster meat was 6.0 to 6.2. The crude ash content was slightly decreased from June to August. 3. The range of monthly change of heavy metal content are as follows: Total mercury was 0 to 0.019 ppm, cadmium was 0.026 to 0.053 ppm, copper was 0.111 to 0.594 ppm, and lead_was 0.061 to 0.581 ppm. 4. By the results of condition index, chemical composition and heavy metal content of oysters, the suitable harvest season as raw materials for processing was the end of December to the end of May of next year. 5. The pretreatment of 10 percent polyphosphate in 5 percent salt solution of oyster meat appeared effective to reduce thawing drip during cold storage. 6. The pretreatment of $Na_2EDTA$ and BHA did not show the color prevention effect to the canned oyster meat during storage. 7. Magnesium chloride affected to open the valves of oysters.
This experiment was carried out to evaluate the sanitary quality of commercially frozen sea foods. One hundred and sixteen samples in six different items from several refrigeration plant in Busan city were examined from March to December in 1974. In addition, the changes in bacterial density through the process from thawing, round or semifilleted frozen alaska pollack to the finishing as frozen fillet blocks were observed. To evaluate the sanitary quality, sanitary indicative bacteria such as total coliform, fecal coliform, fecal streptococci and enterococci as well as plate counts were determined. From the results, the median value of fecal coliform MPN was 20 per 100 grams of the samples and that of enterococci was 790. The median value of plate counts was $2.2\times10^4$ per gram. The plate counts were not correlated with the number of sanitary indicative bacteria. The results suggest that enterococci could be used advantageously in preference to coliform organisms as indicative bacteria for the evaluation of sanitary quality of frozen sea foods. The plate counts at $20^{\circ}C$ of the samples were 14 times higher than that at $35^{\circ}C$. Geometric mean of total coliform MPN was 310 and that of enterococci was 143. Bacterial density was reduced by fleering. Morethan 50 percent for total coliform MPN and $35^{\circ}C$ plate counts, and about 35 percent for enterococci MPN and $20^{\circ}C$ plate counts were reduced under the contact freezing unit which was generally operated at $-40^{\circ}C$. About fifty-five percent of the samples were negative in fecal coliform test and 10 percent of those were exceeded $1.0\times10^5$ per gram in $35^{\circ}C$ plate counts.

Cryopreserving cells which are maintaining their viability are the very complex process. This study has been carried out in order to find the effects of cryopreservation steps and freezing media on the rates of viability of cryopreserved chicken primordial germ cells (PGCs). PGCs obtained from the germinal gonade of 5.5~6 day (stage 28) chick embryos of Korean Ogye (KO) and Commercial breeds (C), using the MACS method were suspended in a freezing medium containing a freezing and protecting agents (e.g. dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), ethylene glycol (EG) and propylene glycol (PG)). Gonads were harvested from stage 28 chick embryos and pooled in groups of 5, 10, 15, 20E embryos, contributing gonads to the cell suspension. The gonadal cells, including PGCs, were then frozen in 1 of the following cryoprotectant treatments : 2.5%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 0% cryoprotectant (DMSO, EG, PG) as a control. Effects of exposure to slow freezing and vitrification, with different concentrations of the cryoprotectant solution, were examined. After vitrification and slow freezing, survival rates of the frozen-thawed PGCs from the 10% EG plus FBS treatment were 85.63%, and 66.14% (p<0.05), respectively. The viability of PGCs after freeze-thawing was significantly higher for 10% EG plus FBS treatment than for 10% PG + FBS treatment (p<0.05) (85.63% vs 66.81%) by vitrification. This study established a method for preserving chicken PGCs that enables systematic storage and labeling of cryopreserved PGCs in liquid ($LN_2$) at a germplasm repository and ease of entry into a data base. In the future, the importance for this new technology is that poultry lines can be conserved while work is being conducted on improving the production of germline chimeras.

Purpose Westgard multi-rules application based on test quality improvement and commercialized international standard has been widely used in quality control. However, it is difficult to applicate the Westgard multi-rules in nuclear medicine in vitro tests due to the larger sample sizes and the simultaneous measurement of quality control material and patient sample. This study investigated the usefulness of Westgard multi-rules application in nuclear medicine in vitro tests. Materials and Methods A total of 282 systematic error multi-rules (22s, 101s) recorded in the samsung medical center computer system from January 2013 to June 2016 along with 117 cases of corrective measure record was analyzed. The Quality control implementation is recorded in Hospital information system were divided into 4 high-level areas including quality control material error, experimental procedural error, Kit lot number management error, and others. To prevent quality control material error, the existing method that each staff used their own method was changed. The staff who in charge of managing the quality control material was designated and daily consumption amount of every test was strictly controlled by one person. To prevent other errors, every test step was standardized so that the entire test procedures are identically implemented. Results The total quality control implementation was 117 cases; As a result, 62 quality control material errors were 62 cases, experimental process errors were 24 cases, Kit lot number control errors were 18 cases, and other errors were 13 cases. The quality control material error was corrected and could be used fresh materials within 2 days after thawing. The cases of systemic error were decreased to causes as quality control material error. The quality control materials were reduced above 10 vials to a monthly average. In addition, these errors of experimental processing and Kit lot number were improved by test standardization. Consequently, the cases of 101s and 22s in systematic error rules decreased at least 2 cases to a monthly average. Conclusion To confirm of systematic error through multi-rules application quickly, it is necessary to base on management of the QC material, target values and standard deviation. Moreover, in the event of a systematic error, it was found important to record measures based on test cause analysis. The experiment results are expected to contribute to internal quality control improvement and prompt and accurate result reporting through error recording and causal analysis based on Westgard multi-rules analysis.
