특허분석을 통한 한국섬유산업 기술개발 동향 (Development Trends of Korean Textile Industry by Analyzing Domestic Patent)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends of technique development of domestic textile industry and to guide the directions for researches to secure competitiveness of textile industry by analyzing domestic patent applications. This research used patent literature from Korean Patent Information database provided by Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service(KIPRIS), and the patent search scope, based on the application year, was from 1980 to 2007. The number of patents by natives was lower than that of foreigners in 1980's, but from the mid 90's, that number grew larger than that of foreigners. Also the number of patents by natives have shown steadily increasing tendency. However, the number of foreigner's patent in D03, D04, D05 of class was higher than the number of patents by natives. The technical fields where the patent application ratio is high varied from one country to another. In Korea, D01F of subclass had the most number of patents, and D05B, D04B had the most number of patents in Japan and Germany.

응집, 오존 및 UV후처리가 염색폐수의 COD와 색도 제거에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Coagulation, Ozone and UV Post-Process on COD and Color Removal of Textile Wastewater)

  • Wastewaters produced in textile industrial processes contain dyes which are not easily amenable to biological treatment. The object of this study is to determine the post-treatment system of biological process for the textile wastewater by comparing three different types of chemical process, which were 1) post-treatment by ozone or UV, 2) post-treatment by coagulation,3) post-treatment by ozone or UV followed by coagulation. In an application ozone or UV as a post-treatment, color was generally decreased with time, however, SCOD removal effect was not that good. When coagulation was used as point-treatment process, the effluent quality was satisfying. Therefore, the application of coagulation process as a post-treatment of biological process would be more desirable than that as a ozone or UV.

웨어러블 텍스타일 스트레인 센서 리뷰 (Wearable Textile Strain Sensors)

  • This paper provides a review of wearable textile strain sensors that can measure the deformation of the body surface according to the movements of the wearer. In previous studies, the requirements of textile strain sensors, materials and fabrication methods, as well as the principle of the strain sensing according to sensor structures were understood; furthermore, the factors that affect the sensing performance were critically reviewed and application studies were examined. Textile strain sensors should be able to show piezoresistive effects with consistent resistance-extension in response to the extensional deformations that are repeated when they are worn. Textile strain sensors with piezoresistivity are typically made using conductive yarn knit structures or carbon-based fillers or conducting polymer filler composite materials. For the accuracy and reliability of textile strain sensors, fabrication technologies that would minimize deformation hysteresis should be developed and processes to complement and analyze sensing results based on accurate understanding of the sensors' resistance-strain behavior are necessary. Since light-weighted, flexible, and highly elastic textile strain sensors can be worn by users without any inconvenience so that to enable the users to continuously collect data related to body movements, textile strain sensors are expected to become the core of human interface technologies with a wide range of applications in diverse areas.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how to develop the Korean textile pattern design that can respond properly to the demand of consumers. This is very important to maintain a steady growth of the Korean textile and clothing industry. To serve this purpose, this study conduct surveys (through questionnaires) of European textile design industries centering around Italian textile design industry. The survey result shows that in most European textile pattern design studios, the "repeat" process is not necessarily considered as a part of the textile pattern design process and, in fact, the price of textile pattern design with the "repeat" is 30% higher than the price of textile pattern design without the "repeat". The survey result also exhibits that the inclusion of the "repeat" in the textile pattern design process could limit the ability of expressing creative ideas. As a proposal for the development of Korean textile pattern design, this study suggests that the "repeat" process should be separated from the textile design process and specialized as an independent area of the pattern design.

  • As assessment of quantitative energy expenditure for effective exercise is becoming more important, many researches about the monitoring system for exercise status or result have been actively carried out. In this case, however, bicycle riders feel restrained and uncomfortable because the riders should wear a belt-type electrocardiograph or a watch-type accelerometer or GPS system during the assessment of bicycle exercise. In this study, therefore, an electrocardiograph based on textile electrode was developed for measuring ECG and calculating heart rate from the bicycle rider without feeling restraint, and smartphone application was also developed for monitoring the heart rate.

  • 섬유산업에 초음파의 이용은 극히 새로운 것이 아니며, 초음파를 이용하여 시간단축과 공정개선 등에 관한 많은 문헌들도 있다. 게다가 세정과 기계분야, 안정된 분산용액의 제조에 두드러지게 활용되고 있는 기술이며, 다른 새로운 분야로도 연구확대되고 있다. 주로 세정조에 구성되어 있는 초음파발생자치는 세정효율을 높이기 때문에 응용확대가 기대된다. 특별한 장치가 필요없기 때문에 음화학반응에서 관심이 모아지고 있다. 초음파는 이제 광범위한 습식공정에 영향을 미치는 기술로 이해되고 있다. 이 자료는 이미 연구된 결과를 재조명하고 초음파를 이용하므로서 얻을 수 있는 이점에 대해서 어떤 것이 있는지에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.
