제 7차 수학과 교육과정에서는 '학습자 존중'의 정신을 기본적인 방향으로 설정하고, '수학적인 힘'을 기르는 것을 수학과의 우선적인 목표로 진술하고 있다. 이를 구현하기 위해서 교사들에게 제공되어지는 교사용 지도서가 학교 현장에 큰 도움을 주지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 제 7차 수학과 교육과정 4-나 단계 6, 7, 8 단원의 수학 교과서 및 교사용 지도서의 내용을 분석하고 문제점을 도출하여, 지도 방법과 활동 내용을 보다 더 상세하게 제시하고, 보조적인 학습 자료를 개발하여 교사용 지도서를 재구성하였다. 이를 학교 현장에 적용한 후 교사와 학생들의 반응을 분석하여 재구성한 교사용 지도서의 미흡한 점을 수정 보완하여, 보다 더 개선된 교사용 지도서를 제시하였다.

This study was conducted using the phenomenological research method to collect and analyze high school students' opinions about fusing "science" textbook that reflect the 2009 Revised Curriculum. Ninety six students were chosen to be participants from 32 high schools that selected by city and province. The data collection was carried by individual interviews and group discussions. The results are as follow; students' opinions were summarized to 50 themes, and then classified to 9 theme clusters and 2 categories. Students' opinions were divided into a positive position - "it is good because interesting material associated with life", "the structure of textbook is good", "teachers' efforts make class interesting", and "it will help in career choices"- and negative position - "the content is difficult to understand", "the configuration is complex", "I have less interest about it because it doesn't related College Scholastic Ability Test", "teacher's explanation is insufficient", and "it is not associated with career choice"-. The living-related material and story-telling configuration received good reviews from students. On the other hand, the configuration of topics makes many concepts to use, so students have difficulty understanding the content and pointed out the lack of teachers' explanations about unfamiliar areas. In order to solve the difficulties, variety teaching material for fusing "science" will be developed.

본 연구에서는 중국의 수학과 '교육과정표준'에서 4개의 하위 영역 중 하나로 제시하고 있는 실천과 종합응용의 내용을 구현한 연변의 초등학교 수학 교과서 내용을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 연변교육출판사에서 출판한 12권의 초등학교 수학 교과서를 이용하여 실천과 종합응용 내용을 분석하였다. '교육과정표준'의 실천과 종합응용에서는 수학적 지식과 경험을 활용하고 응용하여 도전적이고 종합적인 문제를 해결하고, 주요 학습내용에 대한 이해와 연계를 체험하도록 제시하고 있다. 교과서 분석 결과, 실천활동에서는 상황적 배경이 대부분 교실 안에서 할 수 있는 활동으로 제한되어 있다는 것과 종합응용에서는 수학 지식의 상호연계성을 인식할 수 있는 활동이 적다는 한계를 보였다. 수학적 과정 면에서는 문제해결이 주를 이루고 있으며, 부분적으로 의사소통 활동이 제시되어 있었으며, 추론 활동이 적게 나타났다. 또 수학적 활동에서도 대부분 체험활동이 주를 이루고 있으며, 수학적 지식을 타 교과나 타 영역에 통합할 수 있는 통합적 활동이 부족한 것으로 나타났다.

스마트교육에서 디지털교과서의 역할은 학습자와 대면하는 교육미디어로써 그 중요성은 재론의 여지없다. 이러한 디지털교과서는 학습자의 편의와 더불어 교수자, 콘텐츠 제작자, 유통업자를 위하여 표준화되어야 활성화되고 산업화될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 3가지 목표를 지향하는 디지털교과서 표준화 방안을 모색한다. (1) 디지털교과서는 온-오프 수업을 모두 지원하는 혼합학습 매체의 역할을 해야 하며, 특별한 전용뷰어 없이 표준을 준수하는 모든 EPUB 뷰어에서 실행가능 해야 하며, 기존의 이러닝 학습 콘텐츠와 학습관리시스템를 활용할 수 있도록 하며, 디지털 교과서를 사용하는 학습자의 정보를 추적 관리할 수 있는 트랙킹기능이 있으면서도, 오프라인 동안의 정보를 축적하여 서버와 통신할 수 있는 기능도 필요하다. 디지털교과서의 표준으로서 EPUB을 고려하는 이유는 디지털교과서가 책의 형태를 가져야 하는데 이를 위해서 따로 표준을 정할 필요가 없으며, EPUB 표준을 채택함으로써 풍부한 콘텐츠, 유통구조, 산업기반을 활용할 수 있기 때문이다. (2) 디지털교과서는 오픈소스를 적극 활용하여 저비용으로 현재 사용가능한 서비스를 구성하여 표준과 더불어 실제 실행 가능한 프로그램으로 제시되어야 하며, 관련 학습 콘텐츠가 오픈마켓의 형태로 운영될 수 있어야 한다. (3) 디지털교과서는 학습자에게 적절한 학습 피드백을 제공하기 위하여 모든 학습활동 정보를 축적하고 관리될 수 있는 인프라를 표준에 따라 구축하여 교육 빅데이터 처리의 기반을 제공하여야 한다. 이북 표준인 EPUB 3.0을 기반으로 하는 오픈 디지털교과서는 (1) 학습활동 정보를 기록하고 (2) 이 학습활동 지원을 위한 서버와 통신하여야 한다. 현재 표준으로 정해져 있지 않은 이북의 기록과 통신 기능을 EPUB 3.0의 JavaScript로 구현하여 현재 EPUB 3.0 뷰어에서도 활용하면서 이를 차세대 이북 표준 또는 교육을 위한 이북 표준(EPUB 3.0 for education)으로 제안하여 향후 제정된 표준 이북 뷰어에서는 JavaScript없이도 처리되도록 하는 전략이 필요하다. 향후 연구는 제안한 오픈 디지털교과서 표준에 의한 오픈소스 프로그램을 개발하고, 개발된 오픈 디지털교과서의 학습활동정보를 활용한 새로운 교육서비스 방안(교육 빅데이터 활용방안 포함)을 제시하는 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to examine visual elements in Korean high school English textbooks and compare the results with Hill's (2003) which attempted to analyze visuals in British EFL coursebooks. In this study, all 15 English textbooks of high school year 1 in Korea were selected and analyzed. On the basis of the analysis and comparison, the following results have been obtained. First, there were some similarities and differences between the two kinds of texts-Korean high school textbooks and British EFL coursebooks. One similarity was found in regard to the average of pictures and drawings. Second, it was found that in both cases, more pictures were used than the drawings. Third, with regard to the identity of the pictures and drawings used in both texts, there was a higher degree of the use of people than that of objects. Finally, it was found that the pictures and drawings were used more for decorative purpose rather than for the purpose of actual use in teaching and learning. The findings of the current study will shed light on visual impact in EFL coursebooks and explore ways to provide learners and teachers with meaningful learning and teaching experiences.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the writing tasks included in the newly developed high school English textbooks in the aspects of genre, rhetorical structure, task type, and authenticity in order to find out whether these tasks could contribute to improving Korean EFL students' writing skills. A total of nine textbooks were selected for the study and every writing task in each textbook was analyzed. The results show that various types of genres were incorporated in the tasks, but very few opportunities were provided for students to acquire characteristics of specific genres. In terms of rhetorical structure of text, narration, illustration, and transaction were required most, whereas not a single writing task asked students to use classification or cause and effect. Many of the writing tasks analyzed offered linguistic and/or content support through the use of models, which displays traces of the product-based approach to teaching writing. Lastly, most of the tasks lacked authenticity represented by explicit discussion of purpose and audience. Implications for L2 writing task development and writing instruction in the Korean EFL context are discussed.

The purpose of the study were to analyze MathThematics textbooks and Korean middle school mathematics and to investigate the difference among the textbooks in the view of mathematical communication. According to the results, the textbook developers made a variety of efforts to develope students' mathematical communication ability. Students were encouraged to communicate with others about their mathematical ideas or problem solving processes in words or writing by means of discussion, oral report, presentation, journal, etc. MathThematics textbooks provided student self-assessment opportunity to improve student performance in problem solving, reasoning, and communication. In communication assessment, students can assess their use of mathematical vocabulary, notation, and symbols, the use of graphs, tables, models, diagrams and equation to solve problem and their presentation skills. The assessment activities would make a positive impact on the development of students' mathematical communication ability. MathThematics textbooks provided a variety of problem situation including history, science, sports, culture, art, and real world as a topic for communication, however, the researcher found that some of Korean textbooks depends heavily on mathematical problem situations.

이 연구에서는 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등 과학 국정 교과서와 동 교육과정에 따라 2022년에 출판된 초등 과학과 검정 교과서 7종의 '물체의 무게' 단원에 진술된 과학 개념의 서술과 탐구활동 내용의 특징을 비교하여 초등 과학 검정 교과서의 내용 다양성을 분석해 보았다. 이를 위해 각 교과서의 설명텍스트에서 개념 서술 내용의 흐름, 개념 서술 과정에서의 특이점을 분석하였고, 언어네트워크 분석 방법으로 노드와 링크 수, 연결중심성이 높은 중심 단어를 분석 하였다. 또한 교과서에 제시된 탐구활동에서 탐구활동 유형, 탐구과정기능 및 탐구 활동 내용을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 검정 교과서에서는 과학 개념의 서술이나 탐구활동 내용 구성에서 다양성이 잘 드러나지 않았다. 하위 개념의 포함 여부, 중심 단어 등이 교과서별로 유사하였다. 탐구활동을 비교하였을 때에도 탐구활동 내용과 탐구 유형, 탐구과정기능이 유사하였다. 특히 이전 교과서에서 제시되지 않았던 새로운 탐구활동 주제나 실험 방법을 도입한 경우는 없었다. 하지만 동일한 교육과정을 바탕으로 개발되었음에도 불구하고 검정 교과서 체제의 장점을 살릴 수 있는 노력들이 일부 시도되고 있었다. 핵심 내용을 설명하기 위한 하위 개념의 배치 순서가 교과서마다 달라 개념을 설명하는 과정이 몇 가지 유형으로 구분되었고, 탐구활동의 내용은 동일하였지만 기존 실험에서의 어려움을 개선하고 보완하기 위해 탐구 활동 준비물이 교과서별로 서로 다르게 나타나기도 하였다. 이를 바탕으로 검정 교과서의 장점을 살릴 수 있는 시도가 계속되어야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to develop vocational English textbooks for vocational high school, especially marine production high school. Vocational English is intended to increase English proficiency in the area of specific industry or jobs. Based on the review of the literature, the study established developed vocational English textbooks for marine production high school based on the modular system. The developing process includes analysis for marine production job, marine production high school and current English textbook for marine production. Based on the analysis, this study developed English contents which marine production students utilize in not only school but also workplace. Also, this study suggests future research directions for effective development and use of the textbooks in the vocational high schools.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate counting-based and collection-based computation of the elementary mathematics textbook in Korea and United States of America. As a results, we will provide some suggestive points through how to use and activity of number line, decomposing number, counting, grouping and so on by analyzing counting and collection-based computation in the elementary mathematics textbook of Korea and United States of America.
