In this study. a technical report management system using optical technology is described in detail. This management system is designed for both bibliographic (character) and full-text (image) information. Several optical filing systems already on the Korean market are scrutinized and compared with standard functions in order to build a more efficient management system for technical reports which can be easily integrated into existing KRISS library automation system. For that purpose, up-to-date technologies (i.e., digital image PI-ocessing (DIP), MARC standards, and optical character recognition (OCR), etc.) are applied to this system.

In this paper, a style-based approach to translating literary texts is introduced and used. The aim of the study is to work out a stylistic approach to translating literary texts from Arabic into English. The approach proposed in the current study is a combination of four major stylistic approaches, namely linguistic stylistics, literary stylistics, affective stylistics and cognitive stylistics. It has been shown from data analysis that by adopting a style-based approach that can draw from the four stylistic approaches, translators, as special text readers, can easily derive a better understanding and appreciation of texts, in particular literary texts. Further, it has been shown that stylistics as an approach is objective in terms of drawing evidence from the text to support the argument for the important stylistic features and their functions. However, it loses some of its objectivity and becomes dependent and subjective.

Recently, among smart phone functions, cameras are one of the most popular functions and have become one of the most influential functions for purchasing smartphones. However, the basic camera application of the smart phone has a complicated user environment, which is causing many difficulties for the first time user. In this study, Galaxy S7, which is the newest Galaxy S series among the most used Galaxy S series in Korea, was selected and the usability test of the camera application was limited to shooting and editing sharing functions. As a result, first, improvement of icon graphic and label of text form should be provided at the same time to increase the recognition rate and attention of the icon. Second, it is necessary to simplify the structure and provide an intuitive interface in order to facilitate access to various modes and functions. Third, it is necessary to simplify the provision of personalized customized menus or functions in the development of the camera application because it causes a high failure rate and inconvenience in the special functions which are not widely used.

In order to come up with satisfying product and improvement, firms use traditional marketing research methods to obtain consumers' opinions and further try to reflect them. Recently, gathering data from consumer communication platforms like internet and SNS has become popular methods. Meanwhile, with the development of information technology, mobile companies are launching new digital products for children to protect them from harmful content and provide them with necessary functions and information. Among these digital products, Kids Phone, which is a wearable device with safe functions that enable parents to learn childern's location. Kids phone is relatively cheaper and simpler than smartphone but it is noted that there are several problems such as some useless functions and frequent breakdowns. This study analyzes the reviews of Kids phones from domestic mobile companies, identifies the characteristics, strengths and weaknesses of the products, proposes improvement methods strategies for devices and services through SNS consumer analysis. In order to do that customer review data from online shopping malls was gathered and was further analyzed through text mining methods such as TF/IDF, Sentiment Analysis, and network analysis. Customer review data was gathered through crawling Online shopping Mall and Naver Blog/$Caf\acute{e}$. Data analysis and visualization was done using 'R', 'Textom', and 'Python'. Such analysis allowed us to figure out main issues and recent trends regarding kids phones and to suggest possible service improvement strategies based on sentiment analysis.

Switching system can be regarded as the key node of Integrated Services Digital Networks(ISDN) because it plays the Important role in realization of ISDN. As ISDN is evolved from the telephony Integrated Digital Network(IDN), the switching system for ISDN will be evolved from the function and structure of telephony digital switching system. At near future, ISDN switching system is expected to implement the integrated access and transparent switching functions for both voice and data. As final goals of switching system, advanced switching methods for information having various traffic characteristics such as voice, data, text and image should be considered. This paper considered. This paper will show some of the fundamental design challenges and architectural trends in ISDN switching system.

Current web-server deals a multimedia data as well as text data. But dealing a multimedia data is high burden to web-server. So it can degrade web-server response. We introduce H/W feature CDA (Contents Delivery Accelerator). Main function of this H/W is transferring data between SCSI disk and NIC by direct path, and TCP offloading. These 2 functions can accelerate web-server performance. In this paper we will explain problem of current web-server and suggest our new architecture and say various implementation issues.

In this research, our goal is to realize Korean Distribute TTS system with server/client function in wireless network. The speech databases and some routines of TTS system is stuck with the server which has strong functions and we made Korean speech databases and accomplished research about DB which is suitable for distributed TTS. We designed a terminal has the minimum setting which operate this TTS and designed proper protocol so we will check action of Distributed TTS.

A continuum structure function (CSF) is a non-decreasing mapping from the unit hypercube to the unit interval. A B-type CSF, defined in the text, is a CSF whose behaviour is modeled by its underlying binary structures. As the measure of importance of a system component for a B-type CSF, the structural and reliability importance of a component at a system level ${\alpha}$(0 < ${\alpha}$ < 1) are defined and their properties are deduced.

This paper describes "the remote automatic diagnosis and repair system which automatically reads the problems such as "out of order" occurred on equipment at customer's equipment from a remote computer center using HTTP(hyper text transfer protocol). It shows the scheme of the network configurations and features of the system. In addition, a way to implement the overall system, the specific functions of unit, and the operational specifications between the center's computer and customer's computer are also presented.also presented.
