기초 연암부 벽면거칠기 시험과 하중전이 시험 결과의 비교 및 단위주면마찰력의 산정에 대한 연구 (A Comparison of Roughness Measurement and Load Transfer Test for the Calculation of Unit Skin Friction of Pile Foundation in Soft Rocks)

  • 현장타설말뚝의 연암 근입부의 단위주면마찰력을 산정하는 방법 중 암반 벽면거칠기에 의한 산정 방법이 있다. 현장타설말뚝의 굴착 시공 시 암반 굴착공에 거칠기 장치를 설치하고 벽면 거칠기 모양을 측정하고 그 결과를 이용하여 주면마찰력을 산정하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 암반벽면의 거칠기를 직접 측정한 결과와 하중전이 시험결과를 비교분석하여 거칠기시험에 의한 단위주면마찰력을 말뚝의 발생 변위에 대응하는 단위 주면마찰력으로 변환할 수 있도록 저감계수 Rf = -0.14n + 1.48(여기서, n은 하중전이시험에서 도출된 발생변위 δ를 말뚝직경 D로 나눈 변위비)을 제안하였다.

  • As the 4th industrial age approaches, the demand for semiconductors is increasing enough to be used in all electronic devices. At the same time, semiconductor technology is also developing day by day, leading to ultraprecision and low power consumption. Semiconductors that keep getting smaller generate heat because the energy density increases, and the generated heat changes the shape of the semiconductor package, so it is important to manage. The temperature change is not only self-heating of the semiconductor package, but also heat generated by external damage. If the package is deformed, it is necessary to manage it because functional problems and performance degradation such as damage occur. The package burn in test in the post-process of semiconductor production is a process that tests the durability and function of the package in a high-temperature environment, and heat dissipation performance can be evaluated. In this paper, we intend to review a new material formulation that can improve the performance of the adapter, which is one of the parts of the test socket used in the burn-in test. It was confirmed what characteristics the basic base showed when polyamide, a high-molecular material, and alumina, which had high thermal conductivity, were mixed for each magnification. In this study, functional evaluation was also carried out by injecting an adapter, a part of the test socket, at the same time as the specimen was manufactured. Verification of stiffness such as tensile strength and flexural strength by mixing ratio, performance evaluation such as thermal conductivity, and manufacturing of a dummy device also confirmed warpage. As a result, it was confirmed that the thermal stability was excellent. Through this study, it is thought that it can be used as basic data for the development of materials for burn-in sockets in the future.

마찰 접촉을 고려한 현수교 PPWS용 소켓의 거동 해석 (Behavior Analysis of PPWS Sockets for Suspension Bridges Considering Frictional Contact)

  • 현수교 주케이블용 평행강선 스트랜드(PPWS) 소켓의 엄밀한 수치해석을 위한 유한요소해석 모델을 제안하였고, 제안된 해석 모델을 이용하여 소켓의 거동을 분석하였다. 개별 강선과 소켓 내부 주입 합금재의 영향을 고려한 직교 이방성 재료 모델을 적용하였고, Coulomb 마찰 및 표면접촉 모델을 도입하여 소켓 내면과 주입 합금재 표면의 접촉 상태를 구현하였다. 인장 실험으로부터 측정된 소켓 외면의 변형율과 유한요소 해석 결과를 비교하여 제안된 유한요소 해석 모델의 타당성을 검증하였고, 마찰계수의 변화에 따른 소켓의 거동을 해석하였다. 해석 결과, 소켓 내면과 주입 합금재 표면의 마찰은 소켓과 주입 합금재에 발생하는 응력 집중을 크게 완화 시켰으며, 소켓 설계법에서 정의된 수직응력식은 소켓 내면과 주입 합금재 표면의 접촉응력 분포에서 상하부 사분위값의 평균을 대표하는 것으로 나타났다.

소켓연결 방식을 이용한 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 제형 거더의 구조성능 평가 (Structural Performance Evaluation of Prestressed Concrete Trapezoidal Girders Using Socket Joint System)

  • 본 연구는 소켓연결방식을 이용한 PSC 제형 거더를 구성하는 프리캐스트 부재의 소켓연결 성능을 검증하고 복부 부재의 최적화 단면을 산정할 수 있도록 단위부재 실험을 수행하여 거더의 구조성능을 평가하였다. 실험은 연결부의 성능실험과 복부의 휨 및 전단 성능 실험을 수행 하였으며 모두 4점 재하방식으로 수행되었다. 실험결과 소켓연결을 실시한 시험체에서의 초기균열하중은 기준시험체 대비 크게 저하 되었으나 최대하중 이후의 거동은 큰 차이가 없음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 철근의 고리 이음부 길이는 최대하중에 큰 영향을 미치지 않았다. 복부 전단 실험 결과 프리스트레싱 강봉으로 전단 보강을 실시한 시험체에서 기준시험체 대비 높은 사인장 균열하중을 나타내었다. 복부 휨 실험 결과 인장측에 프리스트레싱 강봉으로 보강한 시험체에서 가장 큰 최대하중 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • In this study, the analysis was carried out for Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) characteristics of the Cu electrodes by LIGA process. The shape of electrodes has 324 pins for the cavity of BGA(Ball Grid Array) type test socket mold. BGA test sockets are used in the inspection process of the semi-conductor I.C chip manufacturing. In the work, the machining performance for EDM of the electrodes was analyzed on dimensional accuracy and wear rate. The dimensional accuracy was measured for dimension of the pins, pitch size between the pins and the roundness of corner edge using optical measuring machine.

볼 소켓형 피봇을 갖는 틸팅 패드 저널 베어링의 성능 예측 및 기존 결과와의 비교 (Performance Predictions of Tilting Pad Journal Bearing with Ball-Socket Pivots and Comparison to Published Test Results)

  • This paper predicts the rotordynamic force coefficients of tilting pad journal bearings (TPJBs) with ball-socket pivot and compares the predictions to the published test data obtained under load-between-pad (LBP) configuration. The present TPJB model considers the pivot stiffness calculated based on the Hertzian contact stress theory. Due to the compliance of the pivot, the predicted journal eccentricity agree well with the measured journal center trajectory for increasing static loads, while the early prediction without pivot model consideration underestimates it largely. The predicted pressure profile shows the significant pressure development even on the unloaded pads along the direction opposite to the loading direction. The predicted stiffness coefficients increase as the static load and the rotor speed increase. They agree excellently with test data from open literature. The predicted damping coefficients increase as the static load increases and the rotor speed decreases. The prediction underestimates the test data slightly. In general, the current predictive model including the pivot stiffness improves the accuracy of the rotordynamic performance predictions when compared to the previously published predictions.

  • In the semiconductor industry the memory and chip were developed to high density memory and high performance chip, so circuit design was also high integrated and the test bed was needed to be thin and fine pitch socket. LGA(Land Grid Array) IC socket with thin wall thickness was designed to satisfy this requirement. The LGA IC socket plastic part was manufacture by injection molding process, it was needed accuracy, stiffness and suit resin with high flowability. After injection molding process the side gates were needed to remove for further assembly process. ln this study, the cold press cutting process was applied to remove the gates. For design of punch and die, the cold press cutting analysis was implemented by$DEFORM-2D^{TM}$ ln consideration of the simulation results, an adequate punch and die was designed and made for the cutting unit. In order to verify the performance of cutting process, the roughness of cutting section of the part was measured and was satisfied in requirement.

Comparison of clinical and histological characteristics of orthodontic tooth movement into recent and healed extraction sites combined with corticotomy in rats

  • Objective: This study was performed to investigate the rate of tooth movement and histological characteristics of extraction sockets those were subjected to corticotomy. Methods: A split-mouth randomized controlled trial experiment was designed. Thirty-two adult, male Wistar rats were divided into 2 groups: healing extraction socket (H) and recent extraction socket (R); these groups were randomly classified into 4 subgroups (0/7/21/60 days). The first maxillary molar was extracted on 1 side and 2 months were allowed for complete bone healing; then, the corresponding molar was extracted on the other side and surgical intervention was performed at the mid-alveolar point of the first maxillary molar. Ten grams of continuous force was applied. The outcomes measured were rate of tooth movement, percentage of periodontal space and histological evaluation. The rate of tooth movement was calculated as the measured distance divided by the duration of molar movement. Histomorphometric evaluations were performed on the second and third maxillary molars. The Wilcoxon signed rank test was used to compare differences between the two groups. Results: There were no significant differences in the rates of tooth movement between H and R groups at any of the 4 time points. The histological appearance and percentage of periodontal space between the R and H groups also demonstrated no significant differences. Conclusions: The rates of orthodontic tooth movement into recent and healed socket sites did not differ between the groups. Histological analysis of tooth movement revealed regional acceleration during every time period.

스프링클러설비용 CPVC관과 신축배관 접속부분에서의 누수저감 대책에 관한 연구 (Leakage-reduction Measures at a Joint between CPVC Piping for a Sprinkler System and a Pipe Expansion)

  • 본 연구는 스프링클러설비용 CPVC관과 신축배관 접속부분에서의 누수저감을 위하여 신축배관을 연결하기 위한 밸브소켓과 신축배관 너트부분에 삽입되는 수밀 고무패킹 재질에 대한 국내 및 국외 관련 규격의 검토와 관련 시험 등을 통해 대책을 제안하고자 한다. 누수시험을 통해 밸브소켓 재질은 신축배관 너트부분이 금속제인 경우 금속제로 사용하거나 신축배관 너트부분의 재질을 합성수지제로 사용하여야함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 밸브소켓의 적정 품질 확보를 위해서는 나사산 규격과 검사기준으로 KS B 0221(관용평행나사)와 나사산 검사규격을 KS B 5223(관용 평행나사 게이지)에 따르도록 관련 기준을 개정할 필요가 있다. 그리고 신축배관 너트부분에 설치되는 수밀용 고무링 소재에 대해 세부적인 기준이 없어 NBR과 EPDM 소재가 함께 사용되고 있으나 수밀성이 우수한 EPDM 소재가 사용되도록 관련 기준을 개정할 필요가 있다.

Comparative, randomized, double-blind clinical study of alveolar ridge preservation using an extracellular matrix-based dental resorbable membrane in the extraction socket

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to radiographically and clinically compare the effect of extracellular matrix (ECM) membranes on dimensional alterations following a ridge preservation procedure. Methods: One of 2 different ECM membranes was applied during a ridge preservation procedure. A widely used ECM membrane (WEM; Bio-Gide, Geistlich Biomaterials, Wolhusen, Switzerland) was applied in the treatment group and a newly developed ECM membrane (NEM; Lyso-Gide, Oscotec Inc., Seongnam, Korea) was applied in the control group. Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans and alginate impressions were obtained 1 week and 6 months after the ridge preservation procedure. Results were analyzed using the independent t-test and the nonparametric Mann-Whitney U test. Results: There were no significant differences between the ECM membranes in the changes in the dimension, width, and height of the extraction socket or the quantity of bone tissue. Conclusions: The NEM showed comparable clinical and radiographic results to the WEM following the ridge preservation procedure.
