유압 저하시험 모델과 자동차 연료필터의 토설율 측정 실험 연구 (A Study on Hydraulic Drawdown Test Model and Experimental Estimation of Desorption Rate Ratios of Fuel Filters)

  • This study describes the mathematical equation of drawdown test model and introduces the experimental test apparatus and procedure to estimate the desorption rate ratio of a filter. The characteristics of a hydraulic filtration system of drawdown test were demonstrated by numerical simulation for various properties of filters and operation conditions. Experiments for three kinds of fuel filters were conducted according to the proposed test method. And the test results of desorption rate ratio were compared with those values anticipated in precedent multipass filtration tests. Experimental results revealed the validation of drawdown test method proposed in this study. Domestic fuel filter yielded high desorption rate ratio comparing with other foreign products, which means that the Beta ratio decreases a lot during the test. The results also showed that filtration system model could be developed including desorption rate ratio to estimate the variable Beta ratio in service life.

  • 공공측량에서 성과 심사는 표본조사로 이루어지기 때문에 성과심사에서 심사비율은 매우 중요한 요인이다. 현행 성과심사 심사비율은 성과심사 제도 실시 초기에 경험적으로 결정되었기 때문에 이론적인 바탕이 부족하다는 지적과 함께 최근의 심사 여건에 맞도록 심사비율을 개선해야 한다는 의견이 제기되었다. 본 논문에서는 현재 우리나라에서 이루어지고 있는 공공측량 성과심사의 현황을 개략적으로 알아보고 현행 성과 심사 심사비율을 개선하기 위한 이론적 토대로서 성과심사 심사비율과 적합확률, 심사대상 수, 합격 비율의 관계를 살펴본다. 또한 성과심사 심사비율과 심사비용과의 관계를 토의한다.

솔잎 추출물을 이용한 염색포의 항균성 및 소취 (A study on the antibacterial activity and deodorization of fabrics dyed with pine needles extract)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the antibacterial activity and deodorization of fabrics dyed with pine needles extract. The microbes used for a test were two kinds of bacteria and two kinds of fungi. The test results showed as follows. In the test results of antimicrobial activity, both cotton and silk fabrics showed the antimicrobial rate of over 90% after washing three times. In the test result of antifungal activity, all fabrics didn't show any effective antifungal activity. In the test result of deodorization, the dyed cotton fabric showed the higher rate of deodorization than the non-dyed fabric, and the fabric showed the highest rate of deodorization was the test fabric mordanted by Fe and the rate of deodorization showed 92%. In case of silk fabric, the fabric showed the highest rate of deodorization was the test fabric mordanted by Al, and the rate of deodorization showed 92%.

The Convergence of Poverty Rates among States across the U.S.

  • Since income growth rate and poverty level are related, there is a possibility that the poverty rate may converge in the long run steady state as well. If the poverty rate converges, then for this study the state that begins with the high poverty rate would have a higher poverty reduction rate. To examine the convergence of poverty rate among the US states, this study uses two times series methodologies. First, in order to prevent the power loss from ignoring the structural break when testing for a unit root in a single time series, this study employs the newly developed panel LM unit root tests with level and trend shifts. The results of unit root tests of the log of poverty rate without allowing for structural breaks show that twenty six states reject the null hypothesis of unit root test for the ADF test, twenty five states for the LM test, and thirty five states for the RALS-LM test. The result of unit root tests that allow one structural break shows that the null hypothesis of a unit root test is rejected for twenty two states with the LM test, and thirty three states with the RALS-LM test. This supports poverty rates are converging among US states.

변형률속도-의존 구성모델의 현장 시험 적용 (Application of Field test to the Rate-dependent relation in Constitutive model)

  • 본 연구에서는 실제 현장에서 수행한 피에조콘관입 및 소산시험결과와 변형률 속도를 고려한 구성모델의 이론적 해석을 비교하였다. 이를 위하여 변형률 속도 의존적 구성모델의 수학적 유도과정을 전개하였다. 해석 결과 변형률속도를 무시한 구성모델보다 변형률속도-의존 구성모델을 활용한 지반의 거동 해석이 비의존적 구성모델인 경우의 해석 보다 현장의 시험결과와 잘 일치하므로 변형률속도-의존 구성모델의 적용이 바람직하다.

  • In order to analyze effects of strain rate on consolidation characteristics on Busan clay, a series of constant rate of strain(CRS) consolidation tests with different strain rate and incremental loading test(ILT) were performed. From experimental test results, it was found that the preconsolidation pressure was dependent on the corresponding strain rate occurred during consolidation process. Also, consolidation curves normalized with respect to preconsolidation pressure gave a unique stress-strain curve. Coefficient of consolidation and permeability estimated from CRS test had a tendancy to converge to a certain value at normally consolidated range regardless of strain rate. An increase in excess pore pressure without change of total stress was noted on the incremental loading test after the end of loading.

  • The containment local leakage rate testing in nuclear power plants is performed in accordance with ANSI/ANS 56.8-1994 in Korea. Two methods, the make-up flow rate and the pressure decay, are used for local leakage rate testing. Though ANSI/ANS 56.8-1994 does not define clearly the minimum test duration for the make-up flow rate method, it requires obtaining the data after reaching the stable condition. Thus the prerequisite stable condition for data acquisition and the testing time is differently applied to each NPPs. Therefore, this study presents a standardized test procedure for data stabilization and testing time through experiments to improve the test reliability.

피복류 건조속도 시험방법의 재현성 확보 방안 연구 (A Study on the Reliability of the Drying Rate Test about Military Clothes)

  • Purpose: Current testing method for drying rate used in military textiles has different results according to the public testing institute. So the purpose of this study was to suggest the alternative method which secure the reliability of the drying rate test. Methods: We measured the drying rate by various test methods for military clothes 14 species including quick drying function and compared the test results. Also, the collected data through the test was analyzed using one-way ANOVA. The p-value of results was compared by various testing institutions. Results: The results of this study are as follow; A deviation occurred among the testing institutions in original test method(KS K 0815). Whereas it is verified that there is no deviation among the institutions in 5% significance level by another test method(ISO 17617). Also it would increase work efficiency by reducing the testing time required to test by using ISO 17617. Conclusion: Based on the results, we can suggest the reliable test method of the drying rate.

  • This paper show two different standardized test methods(Japanese Geotechnical Society; JGS 2003). One test is a "Test Method for Frost Heave Prediction Test, JGS 0171-2003", and the other test is a "Test Method for Frost Susceptibility, JGS 0172-2003". The purpose of this test is to obtain the freezing rate(freezing speed), frost heave ratio(heave to sample height), frost heave rate(heaving speed), and other parameters to be used for frost heave prediction and determine the frost susceptibility by freezing test with water intake. This method shall be used to predict the frost heave in frozen ground and evaluate the frost susceptibility of natural and replacement materials.

한국의 환율과 경제성장과의 인과관계 (A Study On Causal Relationship between Exchange Rate and Economic Growth in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the causal relationship between the exchange rate and economic growth, and to induce policy implications. In order to test whether time series data is stationary and the model is fitness or not, we put in operation unit root test, cointegration test. And we apply Granger causality based on an error correction model. The results indicate that uni-dierctional causality between exchange rate and economic growth is detected. Exchange rate impacts on economic growth, but economic growth don't impact on exchange rate. The analysis of impulse reaction function shows that the impulse of exchange rate impacts on Korean economic growth in negative direction. We can infer policy suggestion as follows: The fluctuation of exchange rate much affects economic growth, thus we must make a stable policy of exchange rate to continue economic growth.
