  • As reviewing of current trend on PC connection details, owing to effective stress transfer in the connection, it grow to increase that use of mechanical splices, reinforcements or welded splices, and prestressing. However such devices as reinforcement, mechanical splices entail not only more cost resulted from materials but also extra construction process so as to cause PC used method to lower competition against conventional method. Therefore more enhanced connection details which help working process simplified and construction cost reduced. In this research, as replace 9.3mm 7strand for reinforcement, it is attempt to devise connection detail which makes workability improve and confirm effective stress transfer in the region of connection. The experimental research is proceeded by partial tension test of specimen. The splice lengths of 7strand is decided to be variations. The flexural capability is verified to depend on spice length. An an appropriate splice length could be also determined as a precedent research on improving PC connection detail.

충돌형 노즐의 분무특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Spray Characteristics of Deflector Nozzle)

  • This study describes the external spray characteristics of deflector nozzle such as the breakup procedures of liquid sheet, spray angle, discharge coefficient and bubble behaviors of spray and SMD at deflector nozzle. In order to visualize the spray behaviors shadow graphy technique were used. According to the increase of injection pressure, development of the spray passes through the dribbling, distoted jet, closed bubble due to the contraction by surface tension forces, the bubble opens into hollow tulip shape, and the curved surface straightened to form a conical sheet like as the simplex swirl atomizer. Spray cone angle was nearly 90 deg. Variations of SMD were examined in order to describe the dependency of SMD on the injection pressure and orifice diameter. The shape of deflector and oriffice diameter had an effect on the discharge coefficient.

용매세척건조법에 의한 PZT 테입 제조 (Preparation of PZI Tapes by Solvent Washing Dry Method)

  • For the fast dry of the aqueous tape, the process which water was replaced by organic solvent was proposed. So-called, it was the solvent washing dry, Three organic solvents (methanol, ethanol, and acetone) were selected for the washing solvent. The weight loss of the washed tapes was measured to evaluate the dry rate of the tapes and dried tapes were examined the generation of the cracks with the variations of the organic solvent and the washing time. Methanol, ethanol, and acetone were all available organic solvents for this method. The tapes washed in methanol, ethanol, and acetone were dried rapidly for twenty minutes. After thirty minutes, the weight losses were not any more. The solvent of the lower surface tension can decreases the crack of dried tape. If solvent substitutes water completely, though it was fast dried, crack can be eliminated. The tape casting system was designed for the solvent washing dry and prepared. An homogeneous tape was established by continuous tape casting process.

  • Multilayered high-temperature superconductor coated conductor (CC) tapes are used in an extensive range of applications and are exposed to many stresses such as hoop stress, radial/transverse tensile stress under large Lorentz forces, and thermal stress while cooling if thermal expansion properties differ. Loads induced transversely at the tape surface inevitably create delamination phenomena in the multilayered CC tapes. Thus, delamination behaviors of CC tapes along the c-axis under transverse loading conditions, which can vary based on manufacturing process and constituent layers, must be characterized for applications. The anvil test method was used to mechanically investigate the delamination characteristics of various commercially available Ag-stabilized CC tapes at room temperature and 77 K, finding superior strength at the latter. The wide variations found depended on tape structure and fabrication technique. Fractographic morphologies of delaminated tapes supported the findings under transverse loading conditions.

철근콘크리트 벽체의 초기재령 거동 해석 (Early-Age Behavior of Base Restrained RC Walls)

  • The early -age behavior of base restrained reinforced concrete (RC) walls is analyzed using a three-dimensional finite element method in this study. After calculating the temperature and internal relative humidity variations of an RC wall, determination of stresses due to thermal gradients, differential drying shrinkage, and average drying shrinkage is followed, and the relative contribution of these three stress components to the total stress is compared. The mechanical properties of early-age concrete, determined from many experimental studies, are taken into consideration, and a discrete reinforcing steel derived using the equivalent nodal force concept is also used to simulate the cracking behavior of RC walls. In advance, to Predict the crack spacing and maximum crack width in a base restrained RC wall, an analytical model which can simulate the post-cracking behavior of an RC tension member is introduced on the basis of the energy equilibrium before and after cracking of concrete.

강선으로 보강된 연동형 비닐하우스 골조의 구조거동 (Behavior of Multiple Vinyl House Frames Reinforced by Steel Wire)

  • For the reason of economy, farmers and structural engineers prefer the vinyl house frame members that have the lightest cross sections. Therefore, in order to reach this aim, rod bracing system is the best method for multiple vinyl house frames. In this study, wire rods (tension members) are used to be bracing members in multiple vinyl house frames. The effects of additional wire rods in the frames are investigated by the variations of the bending moments, axial forces, displacements and combined stresses in the main frames that are reinforced by different shapes of rod bracing system. Vinyl house frames are usually made by steel pipe members and collapsed by the excessive wind and snow loads. Two kinds of bracing models are used for wind and snow loads separately in this study. The effective bracing models for each load are finally figured out.

표면균열의 피로성장거동연구 -인장 반복 하중하에서의 균열형상비 예측- (A Study on the Fatigue Growth Behavior of Surface Cracks -Prediction of Crack Aspect Ratio under the Constant Amplitude Tension Fatigue Loads-)

  • The fatigue growth behavior of surface cracks cannot be adequately predicted solely by stress intensity factor analysis. This is caused by different plastic deformation due to variations in the stress field triaxiality along the crack tip. Therefore, a new model which accounts for the crack closure phenomenon is proposed in this paper to predict the fatigue crack growth patterns for surface cracks. Fatigue tests were performed to develop the new model for the prediction and to assess the accuracy of the analysis. The predicted crack growth behavior for PMMA and Aluminum alloy 7075-T6 materials agreed well with the experimental data.

지하수위에 따른 철도사면의 안정성 변화 (The Variation of Slope Stability by Ground Water Level in Railway Lines)

  • Slope stability is affected by various factors. For safety management of slopes, monitoring systems have been widely constructed along railway lines. The representative data from the systems are variations of ground profile such like ground water level and pore water pressure etc. and direct displacement measured by ground clinometer and tension wire sensor. Slopes are mainly effected by rainfall and rainfall causes the decrease of factor of safety(FOS). Because FOS varies linearly by the variation of ground water level and pore pressure, it has a weak point that could not define the time and proper warning sign to secure the safety of the train. In this study, alternative of FOS such as reliability index and probability of failure is applied to slope stability analysis introducing the reliability concept. FOS, reliability index, probability of failure and velocity of probability of failure of the slopes by variation of ground water level are investigated for setting up the specification of safety management of slopes. By executing case study of a slope(ILLO-IMSUNGLI), it is showed to be applied to specification of safety management.

다방향 불규칙파중의 인장계류식 해양구조물의 구조응답 해석 (Structural Response Analysis of a Tension Leg Platform in Multi-directional Irregular Waves)

  • 다방향 불규칙파 중에서의 인장계류식 해양구조물(TLP)의 구조응답 해석을 수행함으로써 다방향 불규칙파가 구조응답에 미치는 영향을 평가하고 있다. 인장계류식 해양구조물에 작용하는 파강제력과 동유체력은 3차원 특이점분포법을 사용하여 각각의 외각요소에 대해 평가하였다. 3차원 골조요소로 모델링하여 유한요소법에 의해 구조응답을 평가하였으며, 인장계류식 해앙구조물의 각 외각요소간의 유체역학적 상호간섭을 고려하여 구조응답을 해석하였다. 구조응답의 주파수 응답함수와 다방향파의 스펙트럼을 이용하여 다방향 불규칙파에 대한 해양구조물의 구조응답 스펙트럼을 구하여 다방향 불규칙파가 인장계류식 해양구조물의 구조응답에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다.

일본잎갈나무, 잣나무, 신갈나무 임분 토양수 성질의 계절적 변이 (Seasonal Variations in Soil Solution Chemistry under Larix leptolepis, Pinus Koraiensis, and Quercus mongolica stands)

  • 토양수 내 이온 농도의 계절적 변이를 구명하기 위하여 경기도 광주군 퇴촌면에 위치한 26년생 일본잎갈나무, 잣나무, 신갈나무 임분의 O층, A층, B층에 zero-tension lysimeter를 설치하고 1996년 9월부터 1999년 6월까지 토양수를 채취하여 분석하였다. 10월과 11월에 토양수 내 $K^+$, $Mg^{2+}$, $Cl^-$, $NO_3\;^-$등의 농도가 증가하였는데, 이는 가을철 낙엽 및 낙지의 유입에 의한 것으로 보이며, 3월과 4월에 $Na^-$, $Ca^{2+}$, $K^+$, $Mg^{2+}$ 등의 농도가 증가하는 것은 봄철에 빈번하게 발생하는 황사현상에 기인하는 것으로 사료된다. 또한 토양수 내 이온 가운데서 $K^+$의 농도가 연중 계절별로 가장 크게 변하는 것으로 나타났으며, 토양수 내 $Cl^-$ 농도는 $K^+$, $Mg^{2+}$ 농도와 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 단변량 시계열 분석 결과 연구기간 동안 토양수 pH는 지속적으로 감소하는 반면 $Al^{3+}$$K^+$농도는 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 이와 같은 경향이 지속될 경우 O층 토양수 내 $Al^{3+}$ 농도가 식물체에 피해를 줄 수 있는 최소농도 (0.018 meq/l)에 도달하려면 수종에 따라 차이는 있으나 10-20년이 소요될 것으로 추정되었다.
