중환자실 뇌혈관질환자에게 수행된 간호중재분석 (A study of the Nursing Interventions performed by the ICU nurses to the patients with Cerebrovascular disorders)

  • The purpose of this study was to analysis of nursing interventions performed by the ICU nurses to the patients with cerebrovascular disorder practically from one university hospital in Seoul. The data were collected from 15 nurses with 86 cerebrovascular disorder cases from one ICU with the questionaire to write frequency of nursing care done by the surveyee from May, 2, 2000 to July, 3, 2000 and the list of 66 nursing interventions selected out of 433 NIC(Nursing Interventions Classification) of Iowa University which were translated into Korean (44 items) and core nursing interventions by ICU nurses (22 items; KIm, Su-Jin, 1997). The data were analysed with SPSS program. The results are as follow : 1. The most frequently used nursing interventions were vital sign monitoring, fall prevention, cerebral edema management, dysreflexia management, neurologic monitoring, cardiac care, communication enhancement, technology management, bed rest care, respiratory monitoring in rank. 2. The most frequently used nursing intervention domains were 'Physiological : Complex', 'Physiological : basic', 'Behavior', 'Safty', 'Health system' in rank. In the domain of physiological : basic, the most frequently used nursing interventions were bed rest care, urinary elimination management, tube care : urinary, physical restraints in rank. In the domain of physiological : complex, the most frequently used nursing interventions were cerebral edema management, dysreflexia management, neurologic monitoring, cardiac care in rank. In the domain of behavior, the most frequently used nursing interventions were communication enhancement, touch, active listening in rank. In the domain of safty, the most frequently used nursing interventions were vital sign monitoring, fall prevention in rank. In the domain of health system, the most frequently used nursing interventions were technology management, specimen management in rank. 3. some difference of the frequency practicing the nursing interventions according to the shift of duties was found. For example, medication administration was common at day duty, touch was practiced at evening duty, temperature regulation was performed.

가열산화 홍화유의 돌연변이원성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mutagenicity of Thermally Oxidized Safflower Oil)

  • Deep-fat frying is a common cooking practice. There has been considerable concern regarding the mutagenic and carcinogenic potential of thermally oxidized oils. Studies on deep-fried foods so far have revealed not much on the mutagenicity of the oils in the foods. Therefore, in the present study, it was attempted to investigate the mutagenicity ofthe thermally oxidized safflower oil. Oil was heated in a home-fryer at a temperature of 180$\pm$3$^{\circ}C$ for 48 hours. Oil samples were taken at 0, 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48 hours of heating, respectively. Each sample was used to study the changes in peroxide value (POV), acid value (AV), iodine value (IV), conjugated dienoic acid (CDA) content, %, and fatty acid composition. Another series of samples were fractionated into non-polar and polar fractions by column chromatography. The mutagenicity of the samples taken from the thermally oxidized oils, as well as the non-polar and polar fractions of the thermally oxidized oils, was investigated with the Ames test. The Ames test was carried out with and without metabolic activation. Bacterial tester strains used in the present study were the histidine auxotrophic strains of Salmonella typhimurium TA100, TA1535 and TA102 were used for the detection of base pair mutations, and TA98 and TA1537 for frame shift mutations. Each series of samples was dissolved in tetraphydrofuran (inhibitor-free) and tested at doses ranging from 0.05 to 5 mg/plate. None of the oil samples taken during the 48 hour oxidation period showed any mugagenic activity. This was the case, even after the activaton with 59 mix. Also, none of the polar and non-polar fractions showed any mutagenic activity on all the strains tested.

적도 저주파 진동과 관련된 한반도 여름철 강수의 변동성 연구 (Analysis on the Variability of Korean Summer Rainfall Associated with the Tropical Low-frequency Oscillation)

  • 이 연구에서는 장기간의 관측 자료를 이용하여 적도 저주파 진동과 관련된 한반도 여름철 강수의 변동성을 분석하였다. EOF 분석을 실시한 결과 여름철 대표적인 한반도 강수 패턴은 남한과 북한이 반대의 위상을 가지며 1990년대 중반을 기점으로 레짐 이동이 나타나는 변동 특성을 보였다. 한반도의 여름철 강수는 엘니뇨/라니냐 변동에 따라 적도 동태평양에서 해수면 온도가 증가하는 강한 엘니뇨 해와 적도에서부터 중위도 서태평양까지 남북으로 연결되어 강수량이 증가하는 약한 라니냐 해에 특히 우리나라(남한)의 남부지방에서 증가하는 경향을 보여주었다. 여름철 인도, 북서태평양, 북동아시아 몬순 지수 및 여름철 강수지수에 대한 계절 내 변동에 의해, 우리나라 강수는 6월 인도 몬순 지수와 양의 상관이 있고 7월 북서태평양 몬순 지수와 음의 상관이 있으며 8월 인도 몬순 지수와 가장 높은 음의 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

캔 통신을 이용한 자동차 엔진 정보 표시장치 (Automobile Engine Information Display Device Using CAN Communication)

  • 오늘날 대부분의 자동차는 전자제어를 통하여 엔진의 상태를 제어하여 최적의 성능을 얻을 수 있도록 하고 있다. 본 연구는 캔통신을 이용하여 자동차의 엔진의 정보를 운전자에게 실시간으로 화면에 표시하여 고장진단과 최적의 자동차 상태를 유지하는 장치를 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 엔진에서 발생되는 정보를 OBD2 소켓을 통하여 엔진의 흡배기온도, 현재 배터리 전압, 타이어 공기압, RPM, DPF 포집량, 토크, 마력 등의 정보를 실시간으로 운전자에게 표시하여 운전자가 차량의 상태를 즉시 확인이 가능하다. 타이어의 공기압을 측정하여 화면에 표시하여 안전운행에 도움을 줄 수 있으며, 자신의 취향에 맞도록 변속타이밍을 설정할 수 있는 모드를 제공한다. 특히 디젤엔진 자동차의 경우 매연으로 인한 문제는 자동차 성능과 환경오염에 악영향을 미칠 수 있으므로 시스템 화면에 DPF 포집량을 표시하여 환경오염 방지와 효율적인 자동차 관리를 할 수 있도록 시스템을 개발하였다.

Effect of Prior Muscle Contraction or Passive Stretching on Eccentric-Induced Muscle Damage

  • Purpose: This tutorial review investigated the effect of prior fatigue and passive stretches on eccentric contraction-induced muscle injuries, as well as the underlying mechanisms of eccentric contraction-related injuries. Methods: Contraction-induced muscle damage is the most common disabling problem in sports and routines. The mechanisms underlying the pathology and prevention of muscle damage lessened by prior fatigue or stretches are critical in assessing musculoskeletal injuries. Even though there are treatments to reduce eccentric contraction-induced muscle injuries, fatigue negatively influences them. Therefore, we reviewed previous studies on eccentric contraction-induced muscle injuries with prior treatments using the MEDLINE and PubMed databases. Results: Prior passive stretching had a preventative and therapeutic effect, but prior lengthening contractions did not. On the other hand, prior isometric contractions involving relatively small forces may not provide a sufficient stimulus to induce protection. As a result, high force isometric contractions may be necessary. The studies supported the positive effects of prior fatigue, concluding that it was a factor in determining the amount of damage caused by eccentric exercise. This was due to a reduction in force and increased temperature. Studies that did not support the positive effects of prior fatigue concluded that a shift in optimal length to a longer length and reduced energy absorption during lengthening are evidence that fatigue is not related to muscle injuries induced by lengthening. Conclusion: The variability of the experiment models, conditions, muscles, and treatment methods make it necessary to interpret the conditions of previous studies carefully and draw conclusions without making direct comparisons. Thus, additional studies should be carefully conducted to investigate the positive effect of fatigue on lengthening.

Novel Cationic 2-Phenylpyridine-based Iridium(III) Complexes Bearing an Ancillary Phosphine Ligand: Synthesis, Photophysics and Crystal Structure

  • Three novel phosphorescent 2-phenylpyridine-based iridium(III) complexes, $[(ppy)_2Ir(P\^{}N)]PF6\;(1),\;[(dfppy)_2Ir(P\^{}N)]PF_6$ (2), and $[(dfmppy)_2 Ir(P\^{}N)]PF6$ (3), where $P\^{}N$ = 2-[(diphenylphosphino)methyl]pyridine (dppmp), were synthesized and characterized. The absorption, photoluminescence, cyclic voltammetry and thermal stability of the complexes were investigated. The complexes showed bright blue luminescences at wavelengths of 448 $\sim$ 500 nm at room temperature in $CHCl_3$ and revealed that the $\pi$-acceptor ability of the phosphorous atom in the ancillary dppmp ligand plays an important role in tuning emission color resulting in a blue-shift emission. The single crystal structure of $[(dfmppy))_2Ir(P\^N)]PF_6$ was determined using X-ray crystallography. The iridium metal center adopts a distorted octahedral structure coordinated to two dfmppy and one dppmp ligand, showing cis C-C and trans N-N chelate dispositions. There is a $\pi-\pi$ overlap between π electrons delocalized in the difluorophenyl rings.

감자 걀쪽바이로드(PSTV) RNA 분자의 요소농도기울기겔에서 전기영동적 이동성에 관하여 (Electrophoretic Mobilities of the Potato Spindle Tuber Viroid RNA Molecules in the Urea-Gradient Gels)

  • 바이로이드 RNA 분자를 포함한 저분자량의 식물성 RNA 분자에 대해서 0M부터 8M 까지의 요소구배를 가진 폴리아크릴아미드켈을 이용하여 전기영동적 이동성을 조사하였다. 막대모양의 바이로이드 RNA 분자는 요소구배 겔에서 전반적으로 다른 저분량의 식물성 RNA들과 마찬가지로 요소구배에 수직인 방향으로 비슷한 수준의 전기영동적 이동성을 보여주었다. 이와 달리 고리모양의 바이로이드 RNA 분자는 요소구배 겔에서 고농도의 요소구배 부분에서 보다도 저 농도의 요소구배 부분에서 더 빠르게 이동하였다. 따라서 고리모양의 바이로이드 RNA 분자는 요소구배 겔의 중간부분에서 막대모양의 바이로이드 분자의 밴드를 가로 지르는 기울기를 가진 특이한 전기영동적 이동을 나타내었다. 결과적으로 고리모양의 바이로이드 RNA 분자의 전기영동적 이동성은 0M 8M의 요소구배를 가지는 바이로이드 RNA 분자의 변성겔에서 주로 요소의 농도에 따라서 영향을 받는 것으로 보인다.

핵융합 배가스 중 수소 회수를 위한 촉매반응 특성 연구 (Study on the Characteristics of Catalyst Reaction for Hydrogen Recovery from Nuclear Fusion Exhaust Gas)

  • In D-T fusion reaction, $D_2$ (duterium) and $T_2$(tritium) are used as fuel gas. The exhaust gas of nuclear fusion includes hydrogen isotopes $Q_2$ (Q means H, D or T), tritiated components ($CQ_4$ and $Q_2O$), CO, $CO_2$, etc. All of hydrogen isotopes should be recovered before released to the atmosphere. This study focused on the recovery of hydrogen isotopes from $CQ_4$ and $Q_2O$. Two kinds of experiments were conducted to investigate the catalytic reaction characteristics of SMR (Steam Methane Reforming) and WGS (Water Gas Shift) reactions using Pt catalyst. First test was performed to convert $CH_4$ into $H_2$ using 6% $CH_4$, 6% CO/Ar feed gas. In the other test, 100% CO gas was used to convert $H_2O$ into $H_2$ at various reaction conditions (reaction temperature, S/C ratio, GHSV). As a result of the first test, $CH_4$ and CO conversion were 41.6%, 57.8% respectively at $600^{\circ}C$, S/C ratio 3, GHSV $2000hr^{-1}$. And CO conversion was 72% at $400^{\circ}C$, S/C ratio 0.95, GHSV $333hr^{-1}$ in the second test.

Aluminium Distearate 첨가가 $UO_2$ 핵연료 제조에 미치는 영향 (Effect of the Addition of Aluminium Distearate on Manufacturing of $UO_2$ Nuclear Fuel)

  • This study has been investigated on the milling of Aluminium Distearate (ADS) powder and characteristics of the ADS-doped UO2 pellets. As-received ADS powder of the agglomerated particles has not shown any milling effect because of heat generated during planetary milling. But the use of coolant to effectively remove heat generated during milling has been found an effective way in breaking up the agglomerates of ADS powder. The green density of the UO2 pellet decreases with the amount of ADS powder doped. Therefore, in order to get the sintered density of 95% pellet decreases with the amount of ADS powder doped. Therefore, in order to get the sintered density of 95% theoretical density, the 200 ppm ADS-doped UO2 pellet has to be pressed under higher compacting pressure of 3500~4000 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ compared with the ADS-undoped UO2 pellet pressed under around 3000 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$. The ADS-dpoed UO2 pellet with even relatively low sintered density of 10.27 g/㎤ exhibits open porosity of 1% while open porosity of the ADS-undoped UO2 pellet is reduced to around 1% only after its sintered density increases to 10.43g/㎤. It is, therefore, concluded that doping of ADS powder significantly contributes to the decrease in open porosity of the UO2 pellet. The dilatometry of the ADS doped UO2 pellet shows the sintering rate curve with the bimodal mode, which could be attributed to a phase reaction between UO2 and ADS. The X-ray diffraction analysis indicates that there occurs not any new phase formed but the shift of the peaks. It would be expected that a phase reaction resulting in solid solution would happen in the temperature range of 130$0^{\circ}C$ to 150$0^{\circ}C$ between UO2 and ADS.

재산화 질화 산화막의 전하 생성과 항복에 대한 시간 의존성 (Time Dependence of Charge Generation and Breakdown of Re-oxidized Nitrided Oxide)

  • 본 논문에서는, ULSI에서 기존의 실리콘 절연막을 대체할 것으로 여겨지는 질화 산화막(NO)과 재산화 질화 산화막(ONO)의 전기적 특성을 조사하였다. 특히, 질화 및 재산화 시간에 따른 NO와 ONO막의 전류전압 특성, 게이트 전압이동, 시간종속 절연항복 특성(TDDB) 변화를 측정하였고, 외부 온도 변화에 따른 최적화 된NO와 ONO막의 누설 전류와 절연체가 항복에 이르게 하는 전하량(Q$\_bd$)변화를 측정하였다. 그런 다음 기존의SIO$\_2$와 비교하였다. 측정 결과로부터, NO와 ONO막은 공정시간에 상당히 의존적이었으며, 최적화된 ONO막은 같은 전계를 유지하는 동안 절연 특성 및 Q$\_bd$특성에서 NO막과 SIO$\_2$에 비하여 우수한 성능을 보였다.
