The tractor is the most important machine for farming keeping probably this position also for feeding the future fast growing world population. Band width of power and functions continues to increase worldwide, examples are given. Regarding the high developed countries, general farming demands as well as precision farming issues require closed loop control principles for the system "driver-tractor-implement". Progress in information technologies supports this trend, but comprehensive component and system developments are necessary to make the tractor ready for automatic or semi-automatic controls. The following technical highlights are, for example, discussed for Europe: hydropneumatic front axle suspensions, 50 km/h top speed, front brakes, electronically controlled multivalve diesel engines, automatic hydrostatic power split CVTs, load sensing hydraulics with proportional valves, improved cab and working places with "operations by wire" and more electronics on board than ever before.

기술의 발전과 함께 경제적 측면에서 전기통신은 사회기반구조의 중추적인 일부로 자리잡고 있으며, 궁극적으로는 전세계적인 단일 통신시장이라는 기치아래 각국의 통신시장 개방요구가 점차 확산되고 있다. 이와 맥을 같이 하여 가장 큰 시장을 형성하는 서비스의 최종이용자 장치 즉 단말장치에 대한 규제가 완화되어가고 있는 등 통신시장은 세계화 추세에 있다. 이의 일환으로 자국의 통신질서 유지를 위해 적용되고 있는 단말장치 형식승인제도에 대해 양국 또는 다국간의 국제적 차원에서 상호 공통으로 적용가능한 상호인증제도를 위한 전략수립에 비중을 두고 활동이 전개되고 있다. 본고는 우리나라 전기통신과 깊은 관계를 유지하고 있는 미국 중심의 북미자유무역협정(NAFTA) 체결국중에서 최근 신전기통신법 통과로 관심을 모으고 있는 캐나다에 대해 인증절차와 인증 기술기준 등을 포함한 형식승인제도 전분야를 분석하고 향후 수립될지 모르는 캐나다와의 상호인증을 위한 기초자료로 활용코자 한다.

In recent year in many countries with various climatic conditions are becoming very widely used with daylighting system based on maximum used of the Sunlight. This paper will present on trend of International Daylight Measurement program which has already organized by CIE technical committe called TC307. The International Daylight Measurement Year(IDMY) has been decided to be initiated at the beginning of 1991 to collect various kind of daylight and solar radiation data all over the world.

XLPE insulated power cables are introduced in Korea in 1980s. The cable installation test has been carried out according to the Korean Technical Reference of Electrical Facilities. But recent research results shows DC Hipot test cannot detect the serious defects in XLPE insulated cables. VLF test is recommended as a installation test of XLPE insulated cables by CENELEC and IEEE standards in 1996 and 2001 respectively. We suggest to apply VLF test as an installation test for XLPE insulated MV cables in Korea.

The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze whether open innovation activities are significant and which methods are more effective in developing new businesses. Based on the latest technological innovation survey data of the Science and Technology Policy Institute, the results were analyzed by binary logistic regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, we confirmed that open innovation activities have a positive effect on the performance of developing new businesses. In the open innovation activities, Recruitment (invitation) of specialist in related fields, Business alliance technical agreement, Dispatch of personnel, M&A, Acquisitions identify related field trends showed more influence in order. It would be beneficial to improve the performance of developing new businesses with a low probability of success if utilize more effective innovation activities in developing new business in enterprises or organizations throughout this study.

The 21 century has entered a stage of innovation with current globalization. The technical development of science has changed more rapidly than any other era and through this change, design will control the world. For this reason, I consider that researching Philippe Starck's - one of most active designers in the world- philosophies and traits of his work can be the key to understanding 21st century's design characters and main trends. Furthermore this research will also help to predict future design. Philippe Starck has diverse traits but this study would like to focus on his trait of Surrealism. First I have arranged all his design backgrounds including periodic circumstance which influenced his works. Secondly I researched and analyzed how his design philosophy has expressed his works. Phillppe Starck defines Surrealism as an expression of a dream and unconsciousness showing an indoor view and he expresses his characteristic wit and humor by presenting completely different and exceptional space from what people have usually seen.

With the explosive increase of esthetic demands by patients, many dental materials for the esthetic restoration have been introduced. Recently, zirconia based restorations are using for the cases of single crown, bridges, implant prostheses etc. Zirconia have superior mechanical properties and biocompatibility. Owing to the properties of high strength, zirconia has to be manufactured by CAD/CAM system. Dental CAD/CAM system is a futuristic treatment and technical system which makes it possible to produce the precision and uniform prosthesis and also standardize the treatments. This article introduces the characteristics of zirconia, fabrication procedure using CAD/CAM system and procedure for the cementation of zirconia based restoration.

In the era of global competition, international competitiveness depends greatly on the prompt provision of overseas information. In the field of Science and Technology, it is very important to catch the research or technical trends of advanced countries in time. In this paper, we explain the process of collecting, evaluating, and distributing KISTI's overseas S&T trend information service. We also explain a quality management system which evaluates the quality of the information without loosing promptness.

최근 지구의 온난화 현상, 산성비 및 오존층 파괴라고 한 지구환경 문제가 큰 과제로 대두되면서 지구환경 보호를 배경으로한 CAFE 규제에 의한 자동차 경량화 움직임이 급속히 확대되고 있고, WTO출범과 함께 경제 전쟁시대에 돌입한 중소기업 분야도 경쟁, 개방화의 물결이 가속화되면서 고기능화, 고부가 가치화 등의 전문기술로 경쟁하지 않으면 안되게 되어 있다 특히 자동차 부품이외에 광학 부품, Computer, OA 전자 산업기기 등의 모든 분야에 응용되고 있는 경량 금속인 Al 합금(비중 2.7) 소재도 실용 금속중 가장 가벼운 Mg합금(비중 1.7), Ti합 금 등의 초 경량금속으로 대체 할려고 하는 경향이 세계적으로 나타나고 있다. 한편 전기자동차, 대체 에너지차, 가스터빈차등의 저공해 차의 실용화 연구도 추진되어 왔지만 폭넓은 요구에 대응하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 이의 부품 및 제품에 사용되는 소재의 최 경량금속의 전환과 형상 가공 기술은 이 시대의 요청 사항이 되고 있다.

Government agency information has steadily increased as the role of government has expanded, and information provided by the government is increasingly a significant source for the public's understanding of government policy. Further, this information is an important resource for academic research oriented toward national development. However, in South Korea the distribution system for government information is far from ideal. This paper critiques that system It begins with a short history of Korean government Publishing policy, followed by a more detailed look at recent publishing trends. It then goes on to describe the legal, institutional, and technical aspects of Korean government's distribution of its information, focusing on weaknesses that prevent information from reaching those who desire or need it.
