The military services have sought to improve the overall quality, management, and delivery of military technical information in all of its aspects. The efforts concentrated on developing IETM(Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) by using the application of computer technology for the storage, control, and presentation of maintenance, system-operation, training, and other forms of logistic-support technical information. In this paper, the methodologies are presented to evaluate the operational effectiveness of IETM which consists of confirmity and performance. Confirmity is evaluated by the check-sheet based on the standard of CALS, and performance by the comparison of the technician performance between IETM and paper-TM.

Over the past several years, numerous CALS technologies have been developed for improving productivity and the quality of products and services in an organization. Among these technologies, Interactive Electronic Technical Manual(IETM) has been recognized as one of the most important CALS technologies. IETM is a technical manual authored by means of an appropriate media in a digital format. This study was an attempt to establish conceptual foundations in the literature for IETM. This study described the concept of IETM and differentiated IETM from a technical manual. Also, the author suggested an effective approach to developing an ITEM and explained the relationship between HyTime/MID and IETM.

21세기 스마트폰이 활성화됨에 따라 SNS(Social Network Service)의 사용이 급증하고 있으며, 기업 및 개인은 SNS의 파장효과를 이용하여 홍보 수단으로 활용하고 있다. 다양한 SNS가 존재함에 따라 각 SNS 별도의 계정을 이용하여 운영하고 있다. 이에 따라 각각의 독립적인 운영으로 관리작업이 늘어나고 효율적인 활용이 제약받게 된다. 본 논문에서는 HTML5 웹 표준화 기술을 적용, 운영체제(OS), 스크린(Screen), 브라우저(Browser)에 제약받지 않는 APP을 구현(implement)하고, 이 APP으로 홍보뿐만 아닌 기존의 쿠폰이 제공하지 못하는 사용자의 편의성 부분을, 스마트폰이 탑재하고 있는 NFC 기반의 모바일 쿠폰시스템까지 구현한다.

본 논문에서는 블루투스 4.0(BLE) 기반의 비콘을 이용하여, 공항에서 물건을 찾을 때, 물건(가방)에 비콘을 장착하고 비콘의 신호를 받아 알림(Notification)을 주는 System으로써, 사용자의 편리성을 위하여 안드로이드 4.3이상 버전의 스마트 폰 Application으로 개발하였다. 스마트 폰과 비콘 사이에는 블루투스를 기술을 이용하여 통신하며, 비콘은 신호를 송신, 스마트 폰에서는 수신한다. 이러한 기능으로 Estimote사의 공개된 Software Development Kit(이하 SDK)를 바탕으로 개발을 진행하였다. SDK의 대표적인 기능으로 비콘의 정보와 연결 상태를 관리하는 객체, 그리고 Listener를 통해 범위 내 비콘을 탐색하는 기능을 정의할 수 있다. 또한 User Interface를 고려하여 사용자의 편이성과 접근성에 중점을 두어, 화면 구성에 많은 노력을 기울였다. 따라서 사용자의 배경지식, 연령대를 고려하더라도 쉽게 이용이 가능하도록 개발하였다.

본 논문에서는 건설 현장이나 발전소 등의 고소 작업이 많은 곳에서 작업하는 근로자의 안전을 확보하기 위해, 클라우드 웹 서비스에 기반에 고소작업자의 행동 데이터를 수집 저장하여 그 데이터를 통해 관리자가 작업자의 행동을 모니터링 하고 위험경고 메시지를 받을 수 있는 시스템을 제안하였다. 작업자가 하는 행동을 관리자가 실시간으로 확인하는 것을 통해 고소 작업산업 현장에서 작업자의 경각심으로 예방이 가능하다.

본 논문에서는 가정, 사무실 등에서 전력 사용을 절약할 수 있게 하기 위해 실시간으로 전력 사용량을 측정할 수 있는 스마트 멀티탭을 개발하였다. 멀티탭은 클라우드 웹 서비스로 전력 사용량을 실시간으로 송신해 사용자가 현재의 사용량과 전기 요금을 확인할 수 있게 함으로써 불필요한 전력을 절약하는 것을 도울 수 있다. 또한 멀티탭 제어의 편리성을 위해 음성으로 쉽게 제어할 수 있게 하였다.

사내에서 발생한 각종 기술정보를 입력시킨 쌍용양회의 사내 기술정보 검색System(STIS-II)과 STIS-II의 Software COHIRES의 일반적 특징과 활용현황에 대하여 소개하였다. STIS-II의 주요 입력 data는 연구소 연구보고서, 현장개선보고서, 국내외 출장보고서 등 사내에서 발생되는 기술정보가 주가되고 있으며 그 밖에도 국내에서 발간되는 각종 학 협회지와 특허까지 포함시켰다.

Mobile devices are widely accepted as a convenient machine which provides computing capability as well we cell phone capability. Because of limited resources on mobile devices, complex applications could not be deployed on the devices. Service-based mobile applications (SMAs) can provide a solution to overcome the limitation by subscribing cloud services. Since SMAs have complex structures than standalone applications, it is challenging to develop high quality SMAs, to manage both services and mobile applications, and to implement automated billing for subscribed services. Therefore, there is a great demand for a platform for super mobile computing, which supports all key activities in managing life cycle of SMAs. In this paper, we present technical aspects of a platform which is under development; Super Mobile Autonomous Reliable plaTform (SMART). We believe that it provides a number of practical features which are essential in supporting life-cycle of SMAs; development, deployment, management, and operation.
