국내 X-선 촬영술에 있어서 실패의 원인분석에 관한 연구 (THE STUDY OF TECHNICAL FAILURE OF INTRAORAL ROENTGENOGRAPHY)

  • To insure accuracy in dental roentgenographs, it is important that the patient's head position and angulation of the x-ray tube. In 1907 Cieszynski applied the rule of isometry to dental radiography and established that in the production of an accurate image of a tooth, the central ray must be porjected perpendicularly to a plane bisecting angle formed by the longitudinal axis of the tooth and the film plane. Proper exposure of the film is a part of the production of a good dental radiograph, and correct processing also makes an essential contribution to the quality of the radiograph. The author analysed the failure of exposure and processing results, and recommended followings. 1. The patient head must be positioned that occlusal plane are parallel with the horizontal floor. 2. Central ray must be projected to the objective tooth and supporting structure and projected as perpendicularly to tooth axis and film surface as possible. 3. In processing, the temperature of the solution and the processing time must be correct.

  • Cluster tools are extensively employed in various wafer fabrication processes within the semiconductor manufacturing industry, including photo lithography, etching, and chemical vapor deposition. Contemporary fabrication facilities encounter customer orders with technical specifications that are similar yet slightly varied. Consequently, modern fabrications concurrently manufacture two or three different wafer types using a cluster tool to maximize chamber utilization and streamline the flow of wafer lots between different process stages. In this review, we introduce two methods of concurrent processing of multiple wafer types: 1) concurrent processing of multiple wafer types with different job flows, 2) concurrent processing of multiple wafer types with identical job flows. We describe relevant research trends and achievements and discuss future research directions.

컴포넌트 기반의 차세대 공용여객처리시스템 설계 및 구현 - 인천국제공항 사례 중심으로 - (A Study on Development of Component based Common Use Passenger Processing Systems for Incheon International Airport)

  • IATA(International Air Transport Association, 국제항공운송협회)를 중심으로 항공사 시스템과 연계하여 공항 탑승수속 및 보딩업무를 지원하는 공용시스템 국제 기술표준을 기존의 CUTE(Common Use Terminal Equipment)에서 개선된 CUPPS(Common Use Passenger Processing Systems)로의 전환을 추진 중이다. IATA는 향후 공항 공용시스템의 CUPPS 전환 시 탑승수속 및 보딩업무 관련 각종 장비에 대한 표준 인터페이스 구현 및 항공사 어플리케이션 인증을 통해 항공사의 공용시스템 관련 개발 및 유지보수 비용이 감소될 것으로 예상하고 있다. 인천국제공항은 동북아 주요 공항들과 항공사 유치를 위해 치열하게 경쟁하고 있는 상황에서 항공사의 비용절감 효과를 기대할 수 있는 공항 공용시스템의 CUPPS 전환은 필수적이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 CUPPS 국제 기술표준을 기반으로 사용자의 요구사항에 따라 다양한 기능을 지원할 수 있는 인천국제공항의 컴포넌트(Component) 기반 차세대 공용여객처리시스템의 설계와 구현방안을 제시한다.

심해저 망간각 개발의 경제성 평가 (A Technical and Economic Evaluation of Cobalt-rich Manganese Crusts)

  • Cobalt-rich manganese crusts on seamounts have received an increasing amount of attention as future resources for Co, Ni, Cu, and Mn. A dearth of detailed information regarding the relevant distribution characteristics, mining technologies, and ore processing technologies, however, has precluded potential evaluations of the technical and economic advantages of these crusts. In the past 4 years, Korea has undertaken a survey of the cobalt-rich manganese crusts in and around the Magellan Seamount and Mid-Pacific Mountains. This paper introduces the preliminary feasibility study of the distribution features and R&D results centered around the development of the cobalt-rich manganese crusts. The evaluation model was developed by modifying the model for the manganese nodules. In addition to considering the geological and geophysical differences between the manganese nodules and the cobalt-rich manganese crusts, an ore dressing subsystem was installed in the model. The mining subsystem is composed of a self-propelled collector--a pipeline with submersible hydraulic pumps for crust lifting. The smelting and chlorine leach method was selected for metallurgical processing. The production scales were established at 2,500t/y of cobalt metal. The production of three metals--cobalt, nickel, and copper--was considered in terms of metallurgical processing. The economic feasibility analyses demonstrated that the payback period was 11.4 years, the NPV was 36M$, and the IRR was 9.6% with the economic factors in the case of a cobalt price of US$ 25/lb. It was also demonstrated in this study that the payback period was 8.6 years, the NPV was 154M$, and the IRR was 14.0% in the case of a cobalt price of US$ 30/lb. This indicates that the approach under consideration appears to offer greater potential given the predicted metal prices.

FAHP에 기반을 둔 기술창업교육서비스품질 평가 시스템 (Technical Entrepreneurship Education Service Quality Evaluation System based on FAHP)

  • 서비스의 특성은 무형성, 측정곤란성, 불가역성 등 품질 평가시 애매모호하고 불확실하다는 문제점이 있다. 공공 서비스의 일종인 기술창업교육도 이러한 서비스의 특징을 내포하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기술창업교육서비스품질을 객관적으로 평가하기 위해 FAHP기법을 중심으로 요인을 계층구조로 작성하고 전처리 후, 삼각퍼지수 판단행렬에 입력, 가중치를 산출하여 요인의 상대적 중요도 및 우선순위를 도출하여 분석할 수 있는 TESE 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 시스템은 지속적이고 다양하게 변화하는 기술창업 환경에서의 정성적인 기술창업교육서비스품질 요인들을 정량적으로 분석한다. 분석 결과 주요 요인들의 상대적인 중요도에서 교육의 성과를 의미하는 결과품질이 41%로 가장 높게 나오는 등 효율적으로 요인을 평가 수 있어, 명확한 의사결정을 할 수 있음을 실험을 통하여 확인한다.

Anticorrosive Monitoring and Complex Diagnostics of Corrosion-Technical Condition of Main Oil Pipelines in Russia

  • Safety operation of main pipelines is primarily provided by anticorrosive monitoring. Anticorrosive monitoring of oil pipeline transportation objects is based on results of complex corrosion inspections, analysis of basic data including design data, definition of a corrosion residual rate and diagnostic of general equipment's technical condition. All the abovementioned arrangements are regulated by normative documents. For diagnostics of corrosion-technical condition of oil pipeline transportation objects one presently uses different methods such as in-line inspection using devices with ultrasonic, magnetic or another detector, acoustic-emission diagnostics, electrometric survey, general external corrosion diagnostics and cameral processing of obtained data. Results of a complex of diagnostics give a possibility: $\cdot$ to arrange a pipeline's sectors according to a degree of corrosion danger; $\cdot$ to check up true condition of pipeline's metal; $\cdot$ to estimate technical condition and working ability of a system of anticorrosive protection. However such a control of corrosion technical condition of a main pipeline creates the appearance of estimation of a true degree of protection of an object if values of protective potential with resistive component are taken into consideration only. So in addition to corrosive technical diagnostics one must define a true residual corrosion rate taking into account protective action of electrochemical protection and true protection of a pipeline one must at times. Realized anticorrosive monitoring enables to take a reasonable decision about further operation of objects according to objects' residual life, variation of operation parameters, repair and dismantlement of objects.

  • Announcements by many companies have shown that market interest and technical potential exist for AMOLEDs. DuPont Displays is developing solution processing technology designed to address the high cost of manufacturing AMOLEDs via vapor deposition methods. By printing OLED displays, we can reduce costs and can subsequently scale OLED manufacturing to a competitive motherglass size.
