The progress in computer technology has significantly improved the capabilities of the microcomputer image processing systems and brought down their hardware costs. This on-going trend of technological development seems to bring further substantive improvements in microcomputer image processing and decreasing hardware costs. The technical development in microcomputer image processing system including VLSI technology, semiconductor memory, disk and tape storage, and image display subsystems have been reviewed and their future trend have been projected. The impact of this technology to the development of image processing has been assessed in the time period of immediate future (2-3 years) and near future (5 years).

시스템 자동화를 위한 최근의 소프트웨어 모듈은 각종 외부의 영향에 따라 적절한 대응동작을 이행하지 않는다. 특히 연성 실시간(soft real-time) 동작 제어시 발생하는 동작 마감시간 위반에 따른 피해가 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 스케줄 가능성 분석을 위해 E-TCPN 모델을 이용하며, 분석 결과를 기반으로 하드웨어 제어를 수행하는 자동화 제어 엔진을 설계 및 구현한다.

A robotic system with a 3-dimensional profile measuring sensor is developed in order to measure the complicated shape of the target body. Due to this 3-dimensional profile measuring sensor, a computer is able to adjust the posture of the robot hand so that complicated global profile of the target body can be recognized after several measurements from the variant directions. In order to enable fast data processing, a digital signal processor and a look-up table is introduced.

창발적 정보가 갖는 중요한 속성 중 하나는 일정한 범위 내에서 정보의 정확성을 조절할 수 있다는 점이다. 이러한 특성을 이용할 경우 기존의 환원론적 모델에서는 불가능했던 유연한 정보처리가 가능해진다. 우리는 이러한 예를 인간의 두뇌 활동에서 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 창발적 정보를 다루기 위한 한 가지 정보 모델을 제안하였다. 우리는 이 모델을 기반으로 한 창발 정보 시스템을 설계하고 이 시스템 내에서 자료들이 어떻게 다루어질 수 있는 지를 분석하였다. 이러한 분석결과를 이용하여 제안된 모델이 가질 수 있는 유용성을 보여주었다.

지능은 창발적 현상이며, 창발적 현상은 환원론적 방법론으로 다루기에 적합한 대상이 아니다. 즉, 지능에 속하는 주제들을 하나의 전체론적 틀 안에서 다룰 수 있을 때, 지능의 간질에 보다 효율적으로 접근할 수 있다는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 이런 점에 착안하여 지능적 주제들을 보다 포괄적으로 다룰 수 있는 일반화된 디코히어런스 모델을 제안하였다.

The IMAPRO sotfware package was mainly focused to provide an algorithm which is capable of displaying various color composite images on IBM PC, VGA(Video Graphic Array) card with no special hardware. It displays the false color images using a low-cost eight-bit place refresh buffer. This produces similar quality to the one obtained from image board with three eight-bit plane. Also, it provides user friendly menu driven method for the user who are not familier with technical knowladge of image processing. It may prove useful for universities, institute and private company where expensive hardware is not available.

본 논문에서는 기존의 QoS 라우팅 알고리즘이 가지고 있는 문제점인 네트워크 상태 정보 오버헤드를 극복하고 네트워크 상태의 정확성을 유지하기 위한 예측 기반 QoS 라우팅 기법인 SP(Shortest-Prediction) 라우팅 알고리즘 모델을 제안하고, 알고리즘의 성능 평가를 위하여 실제 네트워크와 유사한 MCI 네트워크 상에서 시뮬레이션 수행하였으며 라우팅 실패율과 라우팅 부정확율의 비교를 통하여 본 알고리즘의 우수성을 확인하였다.
