복소 경계요소법에 의한 비선형 자유수면문제 연구 (A Complex Velocity Boundary Element Method for Nonlinear Free Surface Problems)

  • Cauchy의 적분공식을 복소속도(complex velocity)에 적용하여 포텐시얼 유동을 해석하는 복소경계요소법이 개발되었다. 이 결과로 얻어지는 적분방정식은 경계면에서의 접선속도(tangential velocity)와 법선속도(normal velocity)의 함수로 주어진다. 자유수면에서의 접선속도의 시간변화(evolution of tangential velocity)를 수식화하기 위하여 새로운 비선형 동역학적 자유수면경계조건(nonlinear dynamic free surface boundary condition)을 유도하였다. 복소포텐시얼 대신 복소속도를 이용하는 이 방법은 유장내의 특이점(field singularity)을 용이하게 고려할 수 있으며, 수치미분없이 직접 경계면에서의 유속을 해로서 구하게 된다. 그러나 자유수면이 존재하는 문제의 경우에는, 자유수면에서의 동역학적 경계조건을 만족 시키기 위한 계산과정에 접선 벡타의 변화량을 추정하는 것이 포함되게 되어, 계산과정이 다소 복잡하게 된다.

유방 부분 절제술 후 방사선 치료 시 TOMO Direct를 이용한 접선 조사의 선량적 유용성에 관한 고찰 (Evaluation of Tangential Fields Technique Using TOMO Direct Radiation Therapy after Breast Partial Mastectomy)

  • 목 적: 유방 부분 절제술 후 방사선 치료 시 기존의 라이낙을 이용한 치료기법과 비교하여 TOMO Direct를 이용한 접선 치료 기법의 임상적 유용성을 알아보고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: 유방 부분 절제술 후 방사선 치료를 받은 좌측 유방암 환자 3명을 대상으로 라이낙을 이용한 쐐기 접선 조사 기법(Wedged tangential fields technique)과 조사면 내 선량 보강 기법(Field In Field technique, FIF), TOMO Direct, TOMO Direct 세기 변조 방사선 치료(Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, IMRT)기법을 이용하여 동일한 처방 조건(CTV 내 $D_{90%}$: 50.4 Gy/28 fx)으로 치료계획을 수립하였다. 선량 분석을 위해 선량 체적 히스토그램(Dose Volume Histogram, DVH)과 등선량 곡선 (Isodose curve)을 이용하여 종양 내 표적체적(Clinical Target Volume, CTV)과 손상위험장기(Organ At Risk, OAR)에 대한 선량을 비교분석 하였다. 표적체적의 선량 인자로는 $D_{99}$, $D_{95}$, 선량 균일 지수(Dose homogeneity index, DHI: $D_{10}/D_{90}$)와 $V_{105}$, $V_{110}$을 손상위험장기의 선량 인자로는 심장의 $V_{10}$, $V_{20}$, $V_{30}$, $V_{40}$과 좌측 폐의 $V_{10}$, $V_{20}$, $V_{30}$을 비교 분석하였다. 결 과: 표적체적의 선량 분석 결과로 $D_{99}$, $D_{95}$의 평균값은 각각 쐐기 접선 조사(W)에서 $47.7{\pm}1.1Gy$, $49.4{\pm}0.1Gy$이었으며, 조사면 내 선량 보강 기법(F)은 각각 $47.1{\pm}0.6Gy$, $49.2{\pm}0.4Gy$, 그리고 TOMO Direct(D)와 TOMO Direct IMRT(I)에서는 각각 $49.2{\pm}0.4$ vs. $48.6{\pm}0.8Gy$, $49.9{\pm}0.4$ vs. $49.5{\pm}0.3Gy$이었다. 선량 균일 지수의 평균값은 W: $1.1{\pm}0.02$, F: $1.07{\pm}0.02$, D: $1.03{\pm}0.001$, I: $1.05{\pm}0.02$이었다. 각각의 치료 기법으로 $V_{105}$, $V_{110}$의 평균값을 비교하였을 때 쐐기 접선 조사 시 각각 $34.6{\pm}9.3%$, $7.5{\pm}7.9%$로 가장 높았고 조사면 내 선량 보강 기법은 $16.5{\pm}14.8%$, $2.1{\pm}3.5%$로, TOMO direct IMRT는 $7.5{\pm}8.3%$, $0.1{\pm}0.1%$로 낮아졌으며 TOMO direct에서는 두 값 모두 0%로 나타났다. 손상 위험 장기에 대한 선량 분석 결과 각각의 치료 기법 사이에 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결 론: TOMO Direct를 이용한 접선 조사 기법은 기존의 쐐기 접선 치료 기법보다 치료 용적 내에 균일한 선량분포를 얻을 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 IMRT 또는 Tomotherapy와 달리 정상조직의 저 선량 영역의 노출용적을 증가시키지 않았으며 조사면 내선량 보강 기법 보다 용이한 치료계획 절차를 수행하므로 유방 부분 절제술 후 방사선 치료 시 임상적으로 유용하리라 사료된다.

방음벽 상단의 음장에 관한 능동제어 (Actively Controlled Sound Field of Upper Sections Attached to Noise Barriers)

  • On the basis of theoretical studies on the effect of the cylinders attached to semi-infinite screens, the tangential sound power-transport parallel to the surface of the attached cylinder is minimized by means of a secondary sound field, which is generated from a part of the attached cylinder. The numerical study shows the possibility of deflecting the incident sound by minimizing the sound field of the upper sections. The acoustical shadow region was more pronounced in both near- and far-field compared to the passive case with rigid surface, i.e. without active control. For a relatively wide frequency range it was possible to enhance shielding effects only with few secondary sources and error microphones. In this paper effects of control parameters on the actively controlled sound field near the top edge of noise barriers are studied. Results of numerical study and model measurements are shown and discussed.

  • An experimental study in the dual swirl burner was conducted to analyze the temperature characteristics in the combustion field. The dual swirl burner consists of a main swirling pre-mixed flame with tangential swirler surrounding a pilot which can stabilize a diffusion flame or a partially premixed flame with vane swirler depending on whether fuel is supplied at the exit plane or further upstream. The purpose of this study is to analyse experimentally the characterization of flame temperature in the reacting zone, specially, according to the various combustor diameters like 80mm, 100mm, 130mm and 150mm(O.D). As a result, the temperatures of combustion field were decreased as the diameter of combustor increased. Therefore, these results can be expected that the larger diameter of combustor tend to emit less NOx emission than the small combustor.

자기 차폐를 이용한 전방향 자기차륜 (Omni-Directional Magnet Wheel using Magnetic Shield)

  • When the magnet wheel rotates over a conducting plate, it generates the traction torque as well as the repulsive force on the conducting plate. Partially-cut traction torque results in the linear force into the tangential direction. To cut the traction torque, the concept of magnetic shield is introduced. The direction change of the linear force is realized varying the shielded area of magnetic field. That is, the tangential direction of non-shielded open area becomes the direction of the linear thrust force. Specially a shape of permanent magnets composing the magnet wheel leads to various pattern of magnetic forces. So, to enlarge the resulting force density and compensate its servo property a few simulations are performed under various conditions such as repeated pattern, pole number, radial width of permanent magnets, including shape of open area. The theoretical model of the magnet wheel is derived using air-gap field analysis of linear induction motor, compared with test result and the sensitivity analysis for its parameter change is performed using common tool; MAXWELL. Using two-axial wheel set-up, the tracking motion is tested for a copper plate with its normal motion constrained and its result is given. In conclusion, it is estimated that the magnet wheel using partial shield can be applied to a noncontact conveyance of the conducting plate.

Flow-induced pressure fluctuations of a moderate Reynolds number jet interacting with a tangential flat plate

  • The increase of air traffic volume has brought an increasing amount of issues related to carbon and NOx emissions and noise pollution. Aircraft manufacturers are concentrating their efforts to develop technologies to increase aircraft efficiency and consequently to reduce pollutant discharge and noise emission. Ultra High By-Pass Ratio engine concepts provide reduction of fuel consumption and noise emission thanks to a decrease of the jet velocity exhausting from the engine nozzles. In order to keep same thrust, mass flow and therefore section of fan/nacelle diameter should be increased to compensate velocity reduction. Such feature will lead to close-coupled architectures for engine installation under the wing. A strong jet-wing interaction resulting in a change of turbulent mixing in the aeroacoustic field as well as noise enhancement due to reflection phenomena are therefore expected. On the other hand, pressure fluctuations on the wing as well as on the fuselage represent the forcing loads, which stress panels causing vibrations. Some of these vibrations are re-emitted in the aeroacoustic field as vibration noise, some of them are transmitted in the cockpit as interior noise. In the present work, the interaction between a jet and wing or fuselage is reproduced by a flat surface tangential to an incompressible jet at different radial distances from the nozzle axis. The change in the aerodynamic field due to the presence of the rigid plate was studied by hot wire anemometric measurements, which provided a characterization of mean and fluctuating velocity fields in the jet plume. Pressure fluctuations acting on the flat plate were studied by cavity-mounted microphones which provided point-wise measurements in stream-wise and spanwise directions. Statistical description of velocity and wall pressure fields are determined in terms of Fourier-domain quantities. Scaling laws for pressure auto-spectra and coherence functions are also presented.

End-Burning 연소기의 충돌형 산화제 주입기 형상 변화에 따른 연소유동장 해석 (Reactive Flow Fields Analysis of End-Bunting Combustor with Different Impinging Type Injectors)

  • 충돌형 산화제 주입기를 사용한 end-burning 하이브리드 연소기의 혼합특성을 선행 연구되었던 접선형 주입기와 비교 분석하였다. 충돌형 주입기를 사용한 연소유동장이 접선형 주입기에 비해 축방향 및 반경방향으로 월등한 혼합특성과 연소효율을 보였다. 충돌효과와 선회효과를 동시에 발생시키는 파생형 주입기를 사용한 결과, 보다 넓은 연소실 영역에서 혼합효율이 증대되었으며 연료 표면의 연소 균일도가 향상될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 충돌로 인한 축방향 운동량과 선회유동이 체류시간과 난류강도를 증가시켜 혼합을 촉진시키는 주요 인자로 판단되었으나 연소실의 기하학적 형상변화를 꾀한 step의 유무는 난류혼합 증진에 있어서 중요한 변수가 아님을 확인할 수 있었다.

비축대칭 H-형 및 U-형상의 압출금형 곡면의 자동생성 (Automatic Surface Generation for Extrusion Die of Non-symmetric H- and U-shaped Sections)

  • In order to generate the extrusion die surface of non-symmetric H- and U-shaped sections, an automatic surface construction method based on B-spline surface and scalar field theory is proposed in this study. The isothermal lines and stream lines designed in the scalar field are introduced to find the control points which are used in constructing B-spline surfaces. Intersected points between the isothermal lines and stream lines are used to construct B-spline surfaces. The inlet and outlet profiles are precisely described with B-spline curves by using the centripetal method for uniform parameterization. The extrusion die surface is generated by using the cubic curve interpolation in the u- and v-directions. A quantitative measure for the control of surface is suggested by introducing the tangential vectors at the inlet and outlet sections.
