  • In this paper, we propose a novel method for developing expressive typography authoring tools with personal emotions. Our goal is to implement an interactive typography system that does not rely on any particular language and provides an easy, natural user interface and allows for immediate interaction. For this purpose, we converted the text data entered by a user to image data. The image data was then used for interaction with the user. The data was synchronized with the user's skeleton information obtained from the depth camera. We decomposed the characters using the formality of language to provide a typographical movement that responds more dynamically to the user's motion. Thus, this system provides interaction as a unit of characters rather than as a whole character, allowing the user to have emotional and aesthetic emotional immersion into his or her creation.

  • Big data is structured and unstructured data that is so difficult to collect, store, and so on due to the huge amount of data. Many institutions, including universities, are building student convergence systems to foster talents for data science and AI convergence, but there is an absolute lack of research on what kind of education is needed and what kind of education is required for students. Therefore, in this paper, after conducting the correlation analysis based on the questionnaire on basic surveys and courses to improve the curriculum by grasping the satisfaction and demands of the participants in the "2019 Big Data Youth Talent Training Course" held at K University, Regression analysis was performed. As a result of the study, the higher the satisfaction level, the satisfaction with class or job connection, and the self-development, the more positive the evaluation of program efficiency.

  • This paper reports on current work using the Purdue Three-Stage Model to create enrichment classes in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (the STEM disciplines). First, the history of the Purdue Three-Stage Model and general principles of curriculum and instruction for gifted and talented learners in math/science are reviewed. Then a detailed description of the Model is presented. Following the general description, five specific teacher applications of the Model are presented and compared with respect to the STEM disciplines and developmental levels addressed, and the relative emphasis of each unit on the different stages of the Model. Finally, the advantages of the Model as a framework for curriculum development in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics classes for talented youth are discussed.

  • This study deals with human reaction speed according to human physical conditions (body size) such as head width, thickness, breast width, arm extent, and age. Especially, the results of this study are compared between young and old generation. According to this study, the thickness and extent factor do not have any correlation with human reaction speed, but width factors(head width, breast width, etc) have some correlation with human reaction speed. The result of this study can be used to find fitter person for a special job such as emergency condition job, sports man (because you can find a person having a good talent for it without test). Also, the purpose of this study is to find CNT (Channel Noise Time). The word of CNT is to explain the relation between Channel Noise and working speed. (Channel Noise is a kind of noise happening between the human information transmission channel.)

  • Education is focused on how to nurture creative problem-solving skills talent in rapidly changing information society. The algorithm education of computer science is effective in improvement of students' logical thinking and problem solving capability. However, the algorithm education is very difficult to teach in elementary students level. Because it is difficult to understand abstract characteristic of algorithm. Therefore we developed educational contents based on the principle of the algorithm for improve students' logical thinking and problem-solving capability in this study. And educational contents contain interesting elements of the game. So, students will be interested in algorithm learning and participate actively through developed educational contents. Furthermore, students' creative problem-solving capability may improve through algorithm learning.

  • Self-esteem and social supports are important variable influencing adjustment to college life. This study aims to identify the factors influencing adjustment to college life. Data were collected from 265 usable questionnaires among college students in Pyeongtek University. Results of a factor analysis yielded three dimensions of self-esteem which were talent/attitude and capacity/pride. And results of factor analysis also yielded three dimensions of social supports which were family, friends, and professor supports. Hierarchical regression analysis revealed that capacity/pride and all of social support factors affected significantly for adjustment to college life. And female and aptitude for students' major had a positive affect on adjustment to college life. It was suggested that self-esteem, social supports, and aptitude for students' major should be considered in college management policy.

  • AI-powered robot news is drawing attention as artificial intelligence technology is fully spread in the news distribution field. Robot news still has many technical and ethical problems, but academic research on this is insufficient. This study analyzes the issue of robot writing in artificial intelligent based robot journalism industry using SWOT analysis. As a result, the advantages of big data processes, accurate information gathering, high efficiency and disadvantages such as lack of independent arguments and lack of evidence and opportunities for technical development, government support, academic development, and industrial applications, and threats such as uncritical acceptance and lack of talent have been found. This study suggests three future-oriented directions, such as human-machine collaboration, intelligent news, and chat-bot, through previous studies on the development direction of robot journalism-based article writing.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the acceptance intent of groups of experts and users for converged medical equipment using NeuroTech. This healthcare equipment is applied with technology that simultaneously enhances body function and cognitive function. Interviews were conducted with groups of experts and users to investigate the acceptance of equipment. The interviews include health problems for the elderly, the need to develop medical equipment, and the effectiveness. After recording the collected historical data, we performed the data analysis in accordance with the procedures of the phenomenological analysis method. The total number of people interviewed was 27, 16 experts and 11 users. As a result of the interview, we derived seven topic groups for each of the 12 topic groups and user groups. The implications were derived based on the results.

  • As industrialized countries transition into knowledge economies, there is a rising demand for talent and innovation. Support for start-ups through incubation, acceleration, and venture capital has turned into a key area of investment, with public and private actors searching for the next unicorn. This article examines start-up visas as an emerging policy tool in the global competition for highly innovative entrepreneurs. The study builds on a sample of eight national start-up immigration programs and applies human-capital citizenship (Ellermann, 2020) as a guiding framework. The article first proposes a conceptualization of start-up visas, suggesting that innovation and entrepreneurship also be considered in the theorization of skills. Second, the study examines the implications of start-up visas for international mobility. By focusing on the logic of entry requirements and subsequent benefits accrued through the status as a start-up founder, the findings of this study highlight the role of start-up visas in expanding privileged pathways to cross-border mobility. The article concludes with a discussion of implications for policy and research concerned with the international mobility of start-ups
