  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the area table of twenty editions of the DDC in order to identify what major changes have been made chronologically. The summaries about which were discussed according to the edition order about the change processes of the most extensive area table of the DDC auxiliary table are as follows. 1. It is from the 17th edition that area table appeared as a special auxiliary table in DDC for the first time and the method of classifying areas like from 930 to 999 which is regional history in history class was taken before the introduction of independent area table. 2. The entry numbers in which the area table was applied increased continuously until the 18th edition but the applied entry number was rather decreased in the 20th edition especially the number was mainly decreased in history class, this is the result of the fact that the entry was classified by area table without enumerating each regional history in history class except for the basic area since the 17th edition but recently at least the area of over national unit according to the necessity of enumerating the entry in regional history within history class. 3. The relocation or revision of area table was made according to the literary warrant of the relevant area by period political and administrative conditions and the request of related organization or classifiers of the area rather than by the topographical features therefore the revision was made chiefly about the highly interested Europe Northern America especially the United States. 4. The entry numbers which were expanded according to area indicate that gradual improvement for the international feature as the revision of edition is repeated is made but because of the expansion of Northern America, especially the United States, regional disproportion is represented by the occupation of 56% in the entire entry numbers of the United States in case of the 20th edition. Lastly, the reasonable reform plans of area table will have to be groped on the basis of the results of analysis above and the consideration about the problems in the development of area table of DDC and the other main classification systems.

  • Our study goal is to find out how the table height influences functional ability of upper extremity to patients with stroke when they are having therapy. In this study, we tested forty patients with stroke at the age of over sixty-five who do not have visual, auditory disability and have no difficulty in communicating and moving things by using upper extremity. And they were able to pinch grip in hospital. We used occupational table for occupational therapy as Lab Materials. We also used cube and pegs board to test upper extremity functional ability. We used occupational table for occupational therapy as Lab Materials and we used cube and pegs board to test upper extremity functional ability. The method is that we measured the recommended table height that takes the subjects' size into consideration and patients' preferred table height and therapists' preferred table height and we applied them and then we have done a comparative analysis and set significance level(p<0.05). As the result, we found the Statistically significant between the recommended height and the other two, which are patients' preferred height and therapists' preferred height. We also discovered that functional ability of upper extremity varies significantly depending on each table height. We came to a conclusion that the table height had effects on the upper extremity functional ability of patients with stroke who are over sixty-five years old. It is therefore considered that the proper table height is important to improve upper extremity functional ability of patients with stroke for their physical therapy.

  • In this study, problems with table serving of Korean Jeollanamdo food were investigated, and methods for improvement were suggested. The manner of food serving and arrangement on tables, as well as the serving space in each case, were investigated in representative restaurants serving Jeollanamdo food. The results showed that most of the Jeollanamdo Korean food have a prototype of a flat serving sprea, wherein the main dish and side dishes are not clearly identified, the demarcation between shared space and personal space is insufficiently made for each serving on the table, and the table is full of side dishes, that are narrow, visually disordered and unhygienic, both in terms of the table setting and arrangement inside bowls. To provide sufficient eating space, elevate awareness of hygienic and clean serving, and identifying the main dish in the table setting, a serving method that is a compromise between the flat spread-out and time-series development was suggested, and an arrangement on the table was defined for the main dish and side dishes. The utilization of table space was also increased by reducing the number of dishes on the table at a given moment. In addition, the dish or bowl and arrangement inside the container were changed in order to distinguish the main dish and side dishes. It is suggested that some of tableware be linked with the special products of the locality so as to make a brand for them, and that a personal mat be used to arrange the tableware for each one, since there are many fermented food items (salted fish, kimchi, fermented paste and sauce, etc.) and boiled food items (stew, steamed dish, boiled dish in sauce, etc) that look dark and unfocused. In addition, it is suggested that the width and breadth of the dishes or bowls be set in an orderly manner. Considering the tables currently available at restaurants, personal space on a table and comfortable distance between eaters are suggested to be $400 mm{\times}250 mm$ and 300 mm, respectively.

  • In this paper, we presents for the first time an implementation using T-table for PIPO-64/128, 256 which are lightweight block ciphers. While our proposed implementation requires 16 T-tables, we show that the two types of T-tables are circulant and obtain variants implementations that require a smaller number of T-tables. We then discuss trade-off between the number of required T-tables (code size) and throughput by evaluating the throughput of the variant implementations on an Intel Core i7-9700K processor. The throughput-optimized versions for PIPO-64/128, 256 provide better throughput than TLU(Table-Look-Up) reference implementation by factors of 3.11 and 2.76, respectively, and bit-slice reference implementation by factors of 3.11 and 2.76, respectively.

  • In order to achieve systematical method for improving motion accuracy of hydrostatic table, an algorithm using finite element method is proposed in this paper. Quantification of averaging effect of oil film on motion error is performed theoretically by analysis on the relationship between spacial frequency of rail form error and motion error of table. Influences of film stiffness and pocket size on the motion error of table are also analyzed theoretically Validity of the algorithm is verified experimentally from the test on the motion error of table with three types of rail which have different form profile. Experimental results show that the algorithm is very effective to analyze theoretically the motion error of hydrostatic table.
