We suggest methods to measure the changes in $x^2$ statistic when a row is deleted from a two-way contingency table. The influence function is extended and the deletion method is applied. Two examples are presented and we compare the results obtained from the influence function method and the deletion method.

This study was performed to obtain the internal failure cost in the failure and rework using cost table. The manufacturing cost is different according to each production process. Thierefore, it is difficult to calculate of the manufacturing cost. Using the cost table internal failure cost can be calculated easily in each process.

(1) Haemoglobin levels were estimated by cyanmethaemoglobin method in Unoghovo (56 cases) and Tallqvist method in Ibusa 138 cases. (2) The results presented in Table 1, and 2 indicated that the average haemoglobin levels of these two surveys were low. (3) Percentage incidence of liver and spleen enlargements were 20% in Ibusa and 9% in Unoghovo (Table 6). (4) The household survey of average consumption and requirement of these two village, indicated that daily intake of iron per caput was adequate. (5) The results of these two surveys were compared with ether reported studies (Table 4 and 5).

Design of Arrhythmia Automatic Diagnostic System Using Decision Table We have developed an arrhythmia automatic diagnostic system using decision table which is based on the criteria of Minnesota code. This system is divided into two Parts. One is wave detection algorithm using significant point extraction method, the other is arrhythmia diag- nostic algorthm. The proposed system allows physicians to diagnose more accurately by pro- viding the objective information about a lot of computer -processed ECG data.

최근 급속하게 증가하는 멀티미디어 정보를 효율적으로 다루기 위하여 멀티미디어 데이터에 대한 표현을 표준화하는 MPEG-7 표준안이 제정되었다 본 논문에서는 표준안의 Visual Descriptor 중 Edge Histogram Descriptor(EHD)에 기반한 효과적인 내용기반 이미지 검색 시스템을 설계한다. EHD의 경우 질의 이미지와 데이터베이스의 이미지 간의 유사도 연산을 통해 검색을 하는데 모든 이미지에 대해 연산을 수행하는 것은 비효율적이다. 저장된 에지 히스토그램 정보를 ‘이미지 당 빈 값’에서 ‘빈 값 당 이미지’ 정보로 매핑하는 Lookup Table를 이용하여 유사도 연산을 수행할 이미지 범위를 한정함으로써 검색 효율을 높일 수 있는 검색 방법을 제안한다.

We can use the logistic model for categorical data when the response variables are binary data. In this paper we consider the problem of constructing the confidence intervals for logistic model in I${\times}$J${\times}$2 contingency table. These constructions are simplified by applying logit transformation. This transforms the problem to consider linear form which called the logit model. After obtaining the confidence intervals for the logit model, the reverse transform is applied to obtain the confidence intervals for the logistic model.

We reported the method for the relatively simple equalizing pulse to reduce dynamic false contour. Equalizing pulse is determined by look-up-table and moving direction and velocity of the image. Used lookup-table is a few. If image moves to right or left, necessary LUT is only one for the velocity of 1 pixel/tvfield to right or left. This technique makes the process simple after obtaining motion information.

We present a new algorithm for VLC table prediction in H.264 context-based adaptive variable length coding (CAVLC). Using both the correlation of coding modes and the statistics of the mode distribution in intra and inter frames, we can predict an appropriate VLC table of the given $4{\times}4$ block. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm reduces the bit rate about 0.97% on average, compared to the H.264/AVC standard.

Positioning accuracy largely depends on the variation of friction force in guide table, geometric accuracy of feed unit like as ballscrew and controllable accrecy of servo unit, in general. This paper deals with improvement of microstep resolution about hydrostatic table. Torque control mode have a advantage in microstep test, and more stable than velocity control mode in low velocity motion. Hydro static table have the elastic behavior within several .mu.m, so different character exist between the elastic motion and rolling motion. Integral gain is dominant than other gain in elastic motion. In order to improve response time in elastic motion,increasing gain is suggested within the stable region.

In order tominimize fixing error of workpieces, circle, prismatic, sphere, cylindrical and sculptures types. Modification Rule by Indexing Table and Modification Rule by NC Program are developed for machining centers by using touch trigger probes. The Modification Rule by Indexing Table meas the alignment of workpiece to NC program through degree of freedoms of indexing table. The Modification Rule by NC Program is the alognment of NC program to workpiece ste-tp condition via the generation of NC progarm. A postprocessing module is alos developed for generating NC-part program(User Macro) to compensate for machining errors in end milling and boring processes. Developed method are verified by experiments.
