In this paper, we present the implementation of a secure OTP(One Time Password) generator for IoT(Internet of Things) devices. Basically, MTM(Mobile Trusted Module) is used and expanded considering secure IoT services. We combine the MTM architecture with a new hardware-based OTP generation engine. The new architecture is more secure, offering not only the security of devices but also that of the OTP service. We have implemented and verified the MTM-based OTP generator on a real mobile platform embedded with the MTM chip. The proposed method can be used as a solution for enhancing security of IoT devices and services.

In this paper, we present an ambient light backscatter communication design that enables Internet of Things (IoT) devices to communicate through the backscattering ambient light emitted from lighting infrastructure or sunlight. The device can selectively modulate ambient light by switching a liquid crystal display (LCD) shutter located on its surface, so that a nearby smart device, which includes a photodiode or a camera, can demodulate this backscattered light information. To verify the practicality of the proposed concept, we design an IoT device equipped with a commercial LCD shutter and a microcontroller. Our device produces ambient light backscattered data at a speed of 100 bps, and these data are successfully decoded by a commercial photodiode module 10 cm away from the IoT device. We believe that our ambient light backscatter communication design is appropriate for implementation in various IoT applications.

본 논문은 IoT 제어를 위한 효율적인 웹 서비스 플랫폼을 제안한다. 웹 서비스 성능 향상을 위한 사물 정보들을 웹상에서 실시간 확인할 수 있는 시스템 구성을 제안하기 위하여 사물 정보 수신 모듈과 웹 뷰어 시스템을 구성하였다. IoT 디바이스가 점차 늘어나면서 많은 디바이스의 상태를 각각 확인하고 제어하기에는 너무나도 환경이 복잡해진다. 이러한 문제점을 웹 기반 환경에서 손쉽게 제어하고 현재의 상태정보를 실시간으로 확인할 수 있도록 제안하였다.

It is first shown that for each $t{\leq}r$ and each sequence $x_1,{\cdots},x_t$ which is an A-cosequence in dimension > k, the set $$\Large(\bigcup^{t}_{i=0}Att_R(0:_A(x_1^{n_1},{\ldots},x_i^{n_i})))_{{\geq}k}$$ is independent of the choice of $n_1,{\ldots},n_t$. Let r be the eventual value of $Width_{>k}(0:_AJ^n)$. Then our second result says that for each $t{\leq}r$ the set $\large(\bigcup\limits_{i=0}^{t}Att_R(Tor_i^R(R/I,\;(0:_AJ^n))))_{{\geq}k}$ is stable for large n.

In this letter, we introduce a new middleware architecture and its generic application programming interface (API) (called the T-DMB MATE API) for terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting (T-DMB). Middleware in T-DMB enables inter-operable applications to be downloaded from both broadcast and telecommunication networks in advance and to be executed in any type of T-DMB receiver. The middleware we introduce here is especially designed to support a proposed method for application provisions applied to a concept of application module appropriate to the service environment of T-DMB. We also verify the designed T-DMB MATE API through the implementation of the middleware and its application in a PC-based receiver.

IoT 환경에서 서로 다른 사양을 갖는 기기 간 통신에서의 보안 취약성, 사용자의 프라이버시 데이터 유출, 인가 받지 않은 기기나 사용자로 인한 기기 위 변조, 기기 오작동 등의 보안 위협 발생 가능성이 증가할 것이라는 예측과 더불어 다양한 보안 위협에 대응할 수 있는 보안 기술에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 신뢰 보안 모듈과 클라우드 서버를 이용한 기기 간 원격 인증 및 기기 관리 방법에 대해 기술한다. 수 많은 기기가 인터넷으로 연결되어 운용되는 IoT 환경에서 신뢰 보안 모듈을 활용한 IoT 기기 간 원격 인증, 기기 보안 업데이트 및 안전한 기기 관리 기능 등을 통해 보다 안전하고 신뢰할 수 있는 IoT 서비스 제공이 가능해짙 수 있을 것이다.

This paper describes the design and implementation results of JPEG core, based on the ITU-T Recommendation T.81. We designed the RTL circuit in Verilog HDL, making reference to the JPEG program from the Independent JPEG Group. The circuit has been simulated with Verilog-XL, synthesized with Design Compiler and verified using Altera FPGA. Since the synthesized circuit includes a small number of gates, it is expected to be used as a core module in image processing SOC.

A negative waveform was studied to improve the driving characteristics of reset and address periods in ac PDP. Comparative experiments between negative and conventional positive waveforms were performed with 42-inch XGA PDP module. The negative waveform showed lower breakdown voltage than the conventional positive waveform in reset period. Due to its weak and stable discharge during reset period, the contrast ratio was improved by decreasing the black luminance. During address period, the discharge time-lag was measured. The formative time lag ($=T_f$) of negative waveform was improved about 22.8% than $T_f$ of conventional positive waveform.

본 논문에서는 유한체 $GF(2^2)$상에서의 가산기와 승산기를 전류모드인 T-gate를 이용하여 설계하였다. 제시된 회로는 전류 모드에서 동작하는 T-gate의 조합으로 가산 연산과 승산 연산을 수행하는 연산기를 설계하였다. T-gate는 전류 미러와 전송 게이트로 구성되며 4치 T-gate를 설계, 이를 이용하여 $GF(2^2)$의 가산기와 승산기를 1.5um CMOS 공정을 사용하였다. 전원전압은 DC 3.3V이며 단위 전류는 15uA이다. 본 논문에서 제시한 전류 모드 CMOS 연산기는 T-gate의 배열에 의한 모듈성의 이점을 가지고 있으므로 다치 T-gate를 구현하여 다치 연산기를 쉽게 구현할 수 있게 하였다.
