직무 불만족과 창의성의 관계에 관한 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Relationship between Job Dissatisfaction and Creativity)

  • 본 연구는 고용인들의 직무 불만족과 그들의 창의성이 유의한 관계를 가지는가를 알아보기 위한 연구이다. 고용인들은 직무 불만족에 대한 반응으로 4가지의 방법 중 한 가지 방법을 선택하게 된다. 첫째, 직무와 관련되지 않는 일에 관심을 가지고 주위를 기울이며 자신이 맡은 직무를 전혀 하지 않을 수도 있고(무시), 더 나은 상황에서 일할 수 있도록 노력할 수도 있다.(의사표현). 또 다른 직장을 찾거나 현재 하고 있는 자신의 일을 그만 둘 수도 있고(이탈), 변화와 향상에 대한 노력없이 조직에 머물러 있을 수도 있다. 본 연구는 직무 불만족에 대한 고용인의 반응 중에서 의사표현(Voice)이 창의성으로 유발될 수 있다는 점에 근거하여 직무 불만족과 창의성의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 고용인의 직무 불만족이 창의성으로 나타나기 위해서는 창의성에 대한 인지된 조직지원과 동료의 도움과 지원을 고용인이 인지하는 것이 필요하다. 그리고 의사표현이라는 것은 고용인이 조직을 이탈하는 것이 아니라 조직에 머물러 있으며 이는 지속적 몰입과도 관련이 있음을 이론적으로 밝혀 보았다. 문헌 검증을 통해 실증 분석을 실시하여 본 결과 직무 불만족과 창의성은 매우 유의한 관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 직무 불만족과 지속적 몰입과의 상호작용이 창의성과 유의한 관계를 가질 것이라는 가설은 지지되지 않았다. 그리고 직무 불만조고가 지속적 몰입의 상호작용이 창의성에 미치는 영향을 창의성에 대한 인지된 조직지원이 조절할 것이라는 가설은 지지되지 않았다. 또 직무 불만족과 지속적 몰입의 상호작용이 창의성에 미치는 영향을 동료의 도움과 지원이 조절할 것이라는 가설 역시 지지되지 않았다. 본 연구의 많은 가설들이 지지되지 않는 이유에 대해 생각해 보고자 한다.

  • Even though many projects of new development and redevelopment for information systems are invested, they are not taken care of from the perspective of administration and evaluation. Also, decision makers fall short of not only support the process to check alternatives and select an alternative for investment and but also provide necessary information so as to maximize the effects of investments. That is to say, the suggestion of general direction toward IT investment is debatable. Against this backdrop, we propose a value measurement model to manage information systems.

  • Results of Investment mean not results of procedure but the final goal of an organization. That is to say, results focus on success or failure of investment. So, cost effectiveness means financial cost that is affected in order to attain the output of organizational goal. Many enterprises are investing in developing and redeveloping various projects of information systems. But, it is not generally considered to check values with monitoring and evaluating their projects. We propose a new value model for information systems investment.

창조적 패션디자인을 위한 한국의 패션디자인 교육모델 제안에 관한 연구 -미국, 유럽, 한국의 사례 비교를 중심으로- (A Study to Suggest Korean Fashion Design Education Model for a Creative Fashion Design -Focus on Comparative Case Studies in the USA, Europe, and Korea-)

  • This study suggests a Korean fashion design education model through a comparison of the fashion design curriculum and education systems in the USA, Europe, and Korea. For this, a case study of fashion design curriculum and education systems in the USA was performed with literature reviews about education methodology and design process to develop creativity, following the prior study, A Comparative Study on Fashion Design in Europe and Korea. For the case study, 12 superior fashion design education institutions in the USA were chosen from fashionista (N.Y.) and the goals, the emphases, the constitution of the online curriculum of each undergraduate fashion design course were examined. As a result of this study, Korean fashion design education model (1+2.5+0.5 model), was proposed by integrating the education systems of the USA and Europe, as follow: First, Korean fashion design education institutions need to be characterized and the departments/majors should be gradually specialized by the major. Second, foundation courses prior to undergraduate courses or during the 1st year should be established to result in a multi- disciplinary basic education. Third, a project based major needs to be performed that connects fashion design subjects with their related subjects for 2 and a half years as of the $2^{nd}$ year. These projects can be progressed by problem-solving design process of problem-identification and brainstorming-research, analysis-design concept-design ideation, selection-design development, implementation-critical evaluation and solutions. Fourth, collaborative projects or integrated courses with related Liberal Arts or other art and design majors should lead to muliti-discilplinary education. Fifth, the chance of increased active industry-academy collaboration and actual employment or enterprise can be facilitated by the establishment of only the courses related to domestic or international internships during the $2^{nd}$ semester of the $4^{th}$ year.

하브루타를 적용한 신병훈련의 효과가 훈련병의 만족도 및 성취도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Recruit Training with Havruta on the Satisfaction and Achievement of Trainees)

  • The army is concerned about the decrease in enlistment resources due to the low birth rate and the weakening of military combat power due to the shortening of the military service period. Now, the military's quantitative growth is no longer limited and it is a time for qualitative growth. To this end, the Army has been applying the Israeli learning method Havruta to recruit training to improve the quality of training since 2019. After applying Havruta, several scholars have studied the effect of recruit training applying Havruta. As a result, it was verified that recruit training applying Havruta improves the inner motive, creativity, and military service value of trainees. This study investigated how trainees' inner motive, creativity, and military service value affect their satisfaction and achievement. In addition, it was studied whether the effect of recruit training applied with Havruta on achievement differs according to the educational background (high school graduate or higher) and military family (professional soldiers within 4th degree) of the trainees. To this end, a survey was conducted on 472 recruits, and the structural relationship between each variable and the moderating effect were analyzed using the structural equation model. As a result of the study, military service value did not affect training satisfaction. Also, there was a difference in the effect of creativity on training satisfaction according to the educational background of new recruits, and there was a difference in the effect of military service value on training satisfaction and training achievement according to military family members. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the improvement of the army's recruit training development plan and effective training system.

  • B2B 맥락 하에서 구매기업의 CSR 활동의 효과에 대한 연구는 공급업체와의 장기적 관계자산구축이라는 전통적 연구주제에서 벗어나지 못해왔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존 연구와의 간극을 좁히기 위해 구매기업의 CSR 활동이 공급업체의 내부역량에 미치는 영향과 그 메커니즘을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 공급업체의 내부역량을 신제품 창의성으로 설정하고 구매기업의 CSR 활동이 신뢰 및 정보교환 품질에 미치는 구체적 경로에 대해 파악하였다. 구매기업의 마케팅 및 구매담당자 197명을 대상으로 한 설문조사 결과, 구매기업의 기업경영 CSR 활동과 자선적 CSR 활동은 모두 공급업체의 신뢰에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었고, 신뢰는 정보교환의 품질에, 정보교환 품질은 공급업체의 신제품 창의성에 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있음을 실증하였다. 이러한 실증결과를 바탕으로 구매업자와 공급업체 간의 장기적 관계구축을 위한 이론 및 실무적 시사점을 제공하였다.

Exploring the Determinants of MOOCs continuance intention

  • In our current information-based society in which knowledge is a fundamental asset to production, the capability to utilize information and produce knowledge with the use of information technology (IT) has become essential to learning. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have recently been introduced in light of such changes and are recognized as an alternative to open education. MOOCs' capabilities are being acknowledged in lifelong education in terms of reeducation and knowledge sharing, and also in terms of improving teaching quality, and improving university students' levels of creativity and integrated thinking by supporting high-level content and teaching. Therefore, this study presents an extended research model that combines information system (IS) continuance and task-technology fit models. Our study researches previous literature, revealing factors of continuous use after accepting MOOCs from the learner's perspective, and analyzes the model empirically. The ideal environment for MOOCs learners is evaluated, and a strategic approach to the successful settlement and diffusion of MOOCs is presented based on this study's findings.

Korean Innovation Model, Revisited

  • Over the last decade, some Korean enterprises have emerged to become global players in their specialized products. How have they achieved such tremendous technological progress in a short period of time? This paper explores that question by examining the characteristics of technological innovation activities at major Korean enterprises. The paper begins with a brief review of the stages of economic growth and science and technology development in Korea. Then, the existing literature, explaining the Korean innovation model, is analyzed in order to establish a new framework for the Korean innovation model. Specifically, Korean firms have experienced three sequential phases, and thus, the Korean model, at the firm level, can be coined as "path-following," "path-revealing," and "path-creating." Then, the stylized facts in the first phase (path-following) and the second phase (path-revealing) are discussed, in the context of empirical evidence from the areas of memory chips, automobiles, shipbuilding, and steel. In terms of technology development, the Korean model has evolved as "collective learning" in the first phase, "collective recombination" of existing knowledge and technology in the second phase, and is assumed as "collective creativity" in the third phase. Ultimately, all three can be classified as "collective creation". Korean firms now face a transition in the modes of technological innovation in order to efficiently implement the third phase. To achieve remarkable progress again, as they did in the past, and to sustain the growth momentum, Korean firms should challenge new dimensions such as creative technological ideas, distinctive technological capabilities, and unique innovation systems -- all of which connote 'uniqueness'. Finally, some lessons from the Korean technological innovation experience are addressed.

How to Chase Changing Middle Managers′ Roles in the Informediary Era: Spiral Gap Analysis Model and Star Process

  • Rapid advances in information technology(IT) and telecommunication systems impact the number and quality of decision-making in organizations. Specifically, middle mangers must posses or develop the creativity necessary for survival in a constantly changing and volatile business environment. While tradition and conventional wisdom tell us that a middle managers role centers on control and monitoring, todays competitive arena has spun out a new managerial requirement developing and maintaining an innovative attitude. Problematically, most previous research has focused on the issue of changing decision authority (i. e. centralization/decentralization). Moreover, much previous research has also largely ignored environmental changes exposing new roles that middle managers have assumed. This study explores the means of identifying middle managerial roles, managerial possibilities involving the growing popularity of open systems through electronic brainstorming, and an adaptation and development of Diffusion Theory and attempt to counter criticism leveled at the theory's inability to provide an adequate explanation for diffusion of complex organizational technology. This paper develops three ideas: 1) Introducing the 'Chasing Curve' as a theoretical background. 2) Suggesting a new methodology using electronic brainstorming for analyzing the gap between Knowing (the perceived importance of middle managers' roles) and Doing (the degree of current status of middle managers' roles), which we term the 'Spiral Gap Analysis Model'. 3) Identifying a feedback system for minimizing the Knowing - Doing gap, aimed at development of IT strategic priority decision support, which we call this the 'Star Process'.

경력 닻의 유형이 경력만족과 경력몰입에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Influence of Career Satisfaction and Commitment on Career Anchor Style)

  • 경력은 한 개인이 일생을 두고 일과 관련하여 얻게 되는 경험 및 활동에서 지각된 일련의 태도와 행위이다. 종업원은 경력을 형성하는 단계에서 직무관련 경험을 축적함에 따라 경력 닻을 형성하게 되는데 조직에서는 경력개발활동에서 경력 닻에 따른 종업원의 필요와 욕구를 만족시켜 조직역량 강화와 조직유효성을 증대시켜야 할 필요성이 제기된다. 따라서 이 연구는 종업원의 경력개발과정에서 경력 닻의 유형이 경력만족과 경력몰입에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 실증분석에서는 국내 299명의 종업원을 대상으로 설문지를 활용한 조사를 실시하였고, 영향관계에 관한 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 경력 닻의 유형 중 기술/기능적, 안전/안정적, 순수도전적, 생활방식 경력 닻은 경력만족에 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 관리적, 창조적, 자율/독립적, 봉사/헌신적 경력 닻은 경력만족에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 경력 닻의 유형이 경력몰입에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 기술/기능적, 관리적, 안전/안정적, 봉사/헌신적 경력 닻은 경력몰입에 정(+)의 영향관계가 검증되었으나 창조적, 자율/독립적, 순수도전, 생활방식 경력 닻은 경력만족에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다.
