The goal of the present research was to develop a mean to determine indices of drought warning and emergency necessary to manage drought and establish water supply contingency plan for the municipal and industrial water supply system in urban areas. To do this, we worked on the Sayun catchment which is the main water source of Ulsan and used measured hydrologic data (storage, inflow, supply, outflow) from 1980 to 1996. The indices of drought calculated by the method of Phillips drought index based only on monthly precipitation do not pertinently represent drought phenomena in case water supply is from dam or reservoir in an urban area. Therefor, we developed the drought index technique including inflow, storage, outflow and supply which are the chief factors of drought management. The result showed that the method of Phillips drought index considering the capacity of water supply was excellent when applied to practical drought phenomena.

When designing workplaces, controls should be placed within the reach of operator's arm or foot to guarantee effective performance. The aviation industry is perhaps the chief user of anthropometric data for its need to weight minimization and space optimization. In designing a workplace which must cater to a wide range of operator size, it might be sufficient to plan only for the 'average person'. Static arm reach measurements which are taken in conventional, standardized positions provide the necessary information, but they cannot be directly applied to dynamic situations. In this research, an approximate algorithm to generate the workspace of the human body including foot reach and trunk motion is proposed and tested. The robot kinematics was employed to represent the human body as a multi-link system.

In the face of an endlessly expanding repertoire of Ags, vaccines are constantly being tested, each more effective than the last. As viruses and other pathogens evolve to become more infectious, the need for efficient and effective vaccines grows daily, which is especially obvious in an era that is still attempting to remove itself from the clutches of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, the cause of coronavirus pandemic. To continue evolving alongside these pathogens, it is proving increasingly essential to consider one of the main effector cells of the immune system. As one of the chief orchestrators of the humoral immune response, the B cell and other lymphocytes are essential to not only achieving immunity, but also maintaining it, which is the vital objective of every vaccine.

The purpose of this paper is to find an appropriate policy for local government innovation step by step. In order to accomplish this purpose, we considered the characteristics and situation of Gumi city. Specifically, we analyzed the win-win strategy of the department for the largest local administration innovation. Finally, we found that the chief executive's leadership and other strategies such as the adjustment of the innovation propulsion system are key factors. Also, Managing the resistance to change appeared during the process of local administrative innovation is important . The failure of the policy for local government innovation is caused by the failure to manage the resistance Thus for government innovation to succeed, correct informal ion provision, comprehensive participation of public officials and effect ive management of resistance is necessary.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of critical success and to analyze the main factors which are affecting the successful implementation of Internet shopping mall. The major findings of empirical analysis are as follows : 1) The degree of searching easuness in the internet shopping mall is statistical significance. 2) The degree of customer response is the important success factor. 3) The speed of connection exert a beneficial influence upon the performance of shopping mall. 4) The standard of security system is be in direct proportion to the performance of shopping mall The result of this study will be useful for the chief executive officers to make more rational decision making for e-Business strategies is related to the Internet shopping mall. The paper also strives to provoke debate in this area with to encouraging further research on the topic.

Intralobar pulmonary sequestration is a rare congenital malformation characterized by a cystic portion of the lung that derives its arterial blood supply through aberrant vessel directly of systemic circulation. Two forms of pulmonary sequestration occur; intralobar sequestration is usually contained within the visceral pleura of a pulmonary lobe and its venous drainage to the pulmonary venous system. We presented on case of intralobar pulmonary sequestration with A-V fistula. The patient was 8 years old male and chief complaints are mild fever and exertional dyspnea. Aortogram revealed an aberrant artery originated from thoracic aorta just above the diaphragm and its vessel directly communicated pulmonary vein in sequestrated segment. At time of operation, sequestrated lobe measuring 6x5x5cm, well demarcated at the lower lobe was noted. Aberrant, measuring 1.0cm in diameter and 1cm in length and directly connected pulmonary vein. After division and ligation of the aberrant artery, only excision of sequestrated lobe was performed and complication is not during postoperative course.

This thesis presents a kind of active noise control(ANC) algorithm for reducing noise due to engine inside a car. The proposed control algorithm is, by using WP(Wavelet Packet), a one improving the instability due to delay of noise transmission and the lack of response ability for the rapid change of noise, which are defects of the existing FXLMS(Filtered-X Least Mean Square) algorithm. The chief character of this system is a thing that faster operation than the FXLMS is implemented by inserting WP in the secondary path. In other words, WP implements parallel operation. Then, the weights of filter in the adaptive algorithm will be updated faster. In addition, because WP have so excellent a resolution, they can process very minute noise. The efficiency of this control algorithm will be demonstrated in the matlab simulation and in the actual experiments by using a Labview program and a car.

It is an essential design process to analyze the performance of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) processor before implementation. The contribution of this paper is to identify the chief sources and types of errors, to assess their impact on system performance, and to suggest the analysis technique for principal performance of the space-based SAR processor using Range-Doppler Algorithm (RDA). Also, simulation is performed by the Experimental-SAR (E-SAR) processor to examine the practicability and efficiency of the technique, the results are discussed, and solutions for the problems are recommended. Therefore, this technique can be used to analyze the performance of the space-based SAR processor using RDA.

Focusing on China's profound historical/cultural heritage, as well as its favorable environment for the expansion of cultural and creative industries (CCIs), this paper considers the unique attributes of Chinese museum cultural and creative products (MCCPs) from the angle of cross-border development, and summarizes the main forms and effects of cross-border innovation in relation to Chinese MCCPs. It also examines the chief problems of Chinese MCCPs' cross-border growth at three levels - the national policy system, product development, and design and marketing - to explore countermeasures and suggestions for cross-border novelties and the advancement of products.
