Crystal Form of Celecoxib: Preparation, Characterization and Dissolution

  • Celecoxib (4-[5-(4-methylphenyl)-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]benzenesulfonamide) is a cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor used in the treatment of arthritis, acute pain, and dysmenorrhoea. Celecoxib is a Biopharmaceutics Classification System (BCS) class II compound whose oral bioavailability is highly limited owing to its poor aqueous solubility. Several polymorphs of celecoxib have been identified as Form I, Form II, and Form III with melting points of about $162.8^{\circ}C$, $161.5^{\circ}C$, and $160.8^{\circ}C$, respectively. Form IV was generated from the precipitated suspension in the presence of HPMC (Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) and Polysorbate 80. A rapid rate of dissolution is useful because the rate of dissolution of a drug typically increases its bioavailability. The aim of this study was to investigate the possibility of production of new crystal form of celecoxib that has higher solubility than Form III. New crystal form of celecoxib (Form A) has been isolated by recrystallization and characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric (TG) analysis and powder X-ray diffractometry (PXRD). Form A was dissolved faster than Form III. At 30 minutes, the dissolution of Form A was 97.3%, whereas the dissolution of Form III was 82.2% (p < 0.1). After storage of three months at $20^{\circ}C$, in 24% RH (Relative Humidity), the crystal form was not transformed.

슬립폼 공법으로 건설된 벽식 구조의 거동에 관한 연구 (Structural Behavior of Wall-Type Structure with the Application of Slip-Form System)

  • Slip-Form시스템을 사용하였을 때 공기단축 및 우수한 품질의 벽체타설이 가능하기 때문에, 그 적용성 및 구조적 거동을 평가하는 연구가 수행되었다. 그러나 슬래브를 벽체와 동시에 타설할 수 없기 때문에 벽체-슬래브 접합부의 주변에 취약점이 생기게 될 가능성이 있으므로, 본 연구는 Slip-Form시스템을 사용한 벽식 구조의 성능을 평가하고, 효과적인 접합부를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 7개의 벽체 실험체와 8개의 벽체-슬래브 접합부 실험체를 제작하여 실험을 실시하였다. 그리고 실험결과들을 설계식 및 이론적인 해석 결과와도 비교하였다. 벽체압축 실험으로부터 그 구조적 거동이 일체식 구조와 유사함을 알 수 있었으며, 벽체-슬래브 접합부 실험으로 부터는 철근연결용 철물이 있는 경우는 제외하고는 좋은 성능을 나타냄을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 외벽에 철근연결용 철물을 사용한 경우에는 벽체의 강도을 검토하여 설계에 반영하여야 함을 알 수 있었다.

  • 메쉬 반사판 안테나의 성능은 반사판 표면의 형상 오차에 크게 의존하게 된다. FDM(Force Density Method)을 이용하여 반사판 케이블 네트의 형상설계 연구가 수행되고 있다. 하지만 결정된 형상 일부에 반사판 실효면적의 감소가 발생하고, 케이블의 기하학적 비선형을 고려한 변형 해석은 불가능하다. 본 연구에서는 기하학적 특성을 고려한 케이블 네트 형상설계 방법론을 제시하고 설계된 형상의 실효성을 검증한다. 기하학적 비선형성을 고려한 케이블 네트의 유한요소 모델을 개발한다. 경계조건의 하중 변화에 따른 형상변형 해석을 통하여 케이블 네트 형상 설계변수 특성을 제시하고자 한다.

Design of an output-feedback controller for power system generator

  • We propose a new algorithm to obtain the output feedback controller for power system generators. The performance criterion of this controller is the integral of quadratic form of output differences between reference model and controlled system. With this criterion, we can easily compute the output feedback gains using Astrom's algorithm for the integral calculation of quadratic form. Simulations on a one machine infinite bus system shows the effectiveness of this approach.

G/T 190톤급 한국 대형선망 본선의 저항저감에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Resistance Reduction of G/T 190ton Class Main Vessel in Korean Large Purse Seiner Fishing System)

  • In this study, hull form of main vessel of Korean large purse seiner fishing industry is developed for the improvement of resistance performance as well as for the satisfaction to the Standard of Fishing Convention, ILO. Through the modification of reference hull form parameters and local characteristics, the hull form development is carried out. The optimum hull form parameters are searched by Sequential Quadratic Programing(SQP) method with the power estimation method of Holtrop & Mannen. To minimize the wave resistance, bulbous bow parameters are determined by the bulbous bow design method of Alvarino. The plasmatic curve is redesigned from that of the reference hull by using Lackenby method. The resistance performances of the reference and designed hull forms are estimated by using numerical simulation method. Also, the judgment of seakeeping ability and the estimation of intact stability for the designed hull form is carried out. As a result, the optimum hull form is proposed. To verify the improvement of resistance performance, model tests are carried out in towing tank. The results show that the resistance of the designed hull form is about 14% smaller than that of the reference hull from at design speed. A new hull form proposed in this study can contribute to the development of the main vessel hull form of Korean large purse seiner fishing system.

Riccati Equation Approach to $\textrm{H}_\infty$ Robust Performance Problem for Descriptor Form System

  • In this paper, we discuss H$_{\infty}$ robust performance problem for uncertain system described in a descriptor form. We show that the method based on Riccati equation can be extended to solve this problem. First, such a sufficient condition is given that the system described in a descriptor form is quadratic stable and H$_{\infty}$ norm of a specified transfer function is less than a given level. Using this result, a state feedback law which ensures H$_{\infty}$ robust performance of closed loop system is derived based on a positive definite solution of a Riccati equation. This result shows that a solution of the problem can be also obtained by solving H$_{\infty}$ standard problem for an extended plant. Finally, a design example and simulation results will be given.ven.

최소 이송 기구를 갖는 PC-NC 기반의 비구면 렌즈 연마 장치에 관한 연구 (A Study on PC-NC Based Aspherical Lens Polishing System with Minimum Translation Mechanism)

  • The development process of the polishing system for the aspherical lens mold for opto-electronics industry is described. The system uses the method that polishing tool is scanned on the surface under PC-NC control for the aspherical lens mold. The two axes interpolation of the minimum translation mechanism is applied to give uniform working condition by motion analysis. An aspherical surface is divided into multiple sections and each dwell time is calculated from the polishing rate model based on the Preston equation. As result of form error compensation experiment, initial form error is decreased about 25% while an average value of surface roughness is also reduced successfully from 180nm to 19nm.

  • in this paper the design procedure of three phase voltage source inverter output filter is described. The 'd' axis transfer function of the filter output voltage to the load current is described with the capacitor value and the system time constant including the controller. This means that the relation between the filter capacitor value and the system time constant is given as the closed form. By using the above closed form the capacitor value can be calculated with the system time constant is given as the closed,. form the capacitor value can be calculated with the system time constant which can be implemented practically not using the try and error method. And as the effect of the load is connected.

  • 에에전트는 독립적인 모듈로서 설계에 필요한 정보를 특성별로 분리하여 합의된 규약, 즉 에이전트 통신 언어에 따라 정보를 교환하는 것이며, 퍼지 추론 시스템은 경험 지식을 언어적 제어 규칙으로 표현하고 퍼지 추론을 이용해서 컴퓨터에 실행할 수 있도록 한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 퍼지 추론 시스템과 에이전트 기반 시스템의 결합을 시도하고, 이를 주요치수와 선형 계수의 추론에 적용하여 선박설계에서의 응용가능성을 검토하였다.
