노년층의 기술수용성향과 홈오토메이션 시스템에 대한 요구도 (Older People's Innovativeness toward Technologies and Demand of Home Automation System)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the factors which affect older people's innovativeness toward technologies and factors which affect their demand of home automation system. The study collected data from 289 persons who are 50 years and older with experience living in an apartment currently or past. Innovativeness toward technologies of respondents were low level and the significant factors which affected their innovativeness were age, education, employment, marital status, current housing types, health status of self and spouse, consideration of home automation system for a newly-moved house. Education, employment types, consideration of home automation system for a newly-moved house, and plan for moving were the major factors which affect demand of home automation system. Also, older people's innovativeness toward technologies was the most important factor which affected demand of home automation system. Th results of this study explained that high technologies which are adopted in residential environment should be considered target consumers' abilities and attitudes for acceptance toward new ideas. Especially, for older consumers, various ideas to expand their understanding of new technologies should be developed and the positive effect of technologies to increase the quality of their later life should be educated.

  • 본 연구는 급격히 변화되고 있는 정보화시대에서, 성년후견제도가 발달장애인의 복지향상에 어떠한 의의를 함의하고 있는지 그 의미를 분석함을 목적으로 한다. 이를 통해 성년후견제도의 주요한 집단인 발달장애인에 대한 성년후견제도의 개선방안을 모색하였다. 발달장애인의 입장에서 현행 성년후견제도는 자립생활과 사회통합에 기여할 수 있는 복지제도가 될 수 있어야 한다. 또한, 인터넷을 통한 가상공간에서 제도개선을 위한 정보교류와 다양한 커뮤니티 형성이 이루어져야 한다.

  • 사람 수 추정은 스마트 홈, 스마트 빌딩, 스마트 자동차 등과 같은 응용 서비스를 제공하기 위해 중요한 기술이다. 최근 COVID-19의 영향으로 사회적 거리두기가 시행되면서 사람 수 추정 기술은 새롭게 주목받고 있다. 사람 수 추정 시스템은 서비스 요구사항에 따라 카메라, 센서, 무선 등과 같은 다양한 방법으로 구현 가능하다. WiFi AP를 활용한 사람 수 추정 방식은 다중경로 정보를 반영하는 WiFi CSI를 활용하는 기술로 낮은 비용으로 실내에서 사용하기에 효과적이다. 기존에 제안된 WiFi CSI 기반 사람 수 추정 시스템은 정확도가 낮아 고품질 서비스를 제공하기 어렵다. 본 논문은 WiFi CSI 데이터에 기반한 딥러닝 사람 수 추정 시스템을 제안한다. 오토인코더를 활용한 데이터 전처리 방식, WiFi CSI 데이터를 변형하는 데이터 증강 기법, 그리고 딥러닝 모델링을 통해 추정 정확도를 높인다. 실험 결과 제안하는 시스템은 최대 6명에 대해 89.29%의 정확도를 보였다.

User Density Estimation System at Closed Space using High Frequency and Smart device

  • Recently, for safety of people, there are proposed so many technologies which detect density of people at the specific place or space. The representative technology for crowd density estimation was using image analysis method from CCTV images. However, this method had a weakness which could not be used and which's accuracy was lower at the dark or smog space. Therefore, in this paper, to solve this problem, we proposed a user density estimation system at closed space using high frequency and smart device. The system send inaudible high frequencies to smart devices and it count the smart devices which detect the high frequencies on the space. We tested real-time user density with the proposed system and ten smart devices to evaluate performance. According to the testing results, we confirmed that the proposed system's accuracy was 95% and it was very useful. Thus, because the proposed system could estimate about user density at specific space exactly, it could be useful technology for safety of people and measurement of space use state at indoor space.

  • 오늘날 스마트폰 시장이 폭발적으로 성장함에 따라 일반인과 시각 장애인의 스마트폰 사용에 차이가 발생하여 정보 활용 격차가 날로 심화되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 시각 장애인의 일반인과의 정보 활용 격차를 줄이기 위해 시각 장애인만을 대상으로 한 저렴한 가격의 요철 필름을 사용한 점자를 기반으로 문자 및 숫자 입력 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 점자의 모양을 기반으로 애플의 iOS 상에 요철 필름과 레이아웃을 설계하여 그 레이아웃에 따라 점자 및 숫자 키보드를 설계하였고, 부가적으로 전화, 문자, 단축 다이얼, 응급 구조를 위한 위치전송 기능을 설계하였다. 점자 키보드를 이용하여 입력한 문자는 자동으로 클립보드로 복사되며 다른 응용에서도 이용할 수 있게 하여 시각 장애인이 스마트폰을 편리하게 사용할 수 있도록 구현 하였다.

Multiple Moving Person Tracking Based on the IMPRESARIO Simulator

  • In this paper, we propose a real-time people tracking system with multiple CCD cameras for security inside the building. To achieve this goal, we present a method for 3D walking human tracking based on the IMPRESARIO framework incorporating cascaded classifiers into hypothesis evaluation. The efficiency of adaptive selection of cascaded classifiers has been also presented. The camera is mounted from the ceiling of the laboratory so that the image data of the passing people are fully overlapped. The implemented system recognizes people movement along various directions. To track people even when their images are partially overlapped, the proposed system estimates and tracks a bounding box enclosing each person in the tracking region. The approximated convex hull of each individual in the tracking area is obtained to provide more accurate tracking information. We have shown the improvement of reliability for likelihood calculation by using cascaded classifiers. Experimental results show that the proposed method can smoothly and effectively detect and track walking humans through environments such as dense forests.

딥러닝을 활용한 마스크 착용 얼굴 체온 측정 시스템 (Masked Face Temperature Measurement System Using Deep Learning)

  • Since face masks in public were mandated during COVID-19, more people have taken temperature checks, with their masks on. The study has developed a contactless thermal camera that accurately measures temperatures of people wearing different kinds of masks, detect people wearing masks wrong, and record the temperature data. The built-in system that identifies people wearing masks wrong is what masks our contactless thermal camera differentiated from other thermal cameras. Also our contactless thermal camera can keep track of the number of mask wearers in different regions and their temperatures. Thus, the analysis of such regional data can significantly contribute to stemming the spread of the virus.

  • For elderly people, an advanced training machine that uses actuator and can adjust load according to muscle activity is proposed. The proposed machine allows users to have a safe and effective training through exercise close to ordinal motion appears in daily life such as stretching or stooping motion. A muscle activity sensor real-timely monitors the activation level of user's muscle during the exercise and the training load is adjusted based on the measured data. The training load is exerted and continuously controlled by electric/pneumatic actuator.
