철손과 포화를 고려한 동기 릴럭턴스 모터의 최대토크제어 (Maximum Torque Control of Synchronous Reluctance Motor including iron loss and saturation)

  • In the high speed range for salient type synchronous reluctance motor, the effect of iron loss can not be negligible. We have investigated the voltage equations including iron loss from the model that is added the equivalent iron loss in the equivalent inductance in series. In this paper, we derive Ld linear approximate equation from saturation range of Ld, Lq vs applied voltage characteristics and obtain equations including saturation and iron loss related to maximum torque control using Ld. The effect of saturation and iron loss is investigated under maximum torque control. And we show that the proposed maximum torque control scheme achieves the desired performances through experimental results.

  • This study investigates the dynamic characteristics of Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SynRM), with segmental rotor structure, using finite element method in which the moving mesh technique is considered. The focus of this paper is the sensorless vector control parameters estimation of SynRM under saturation and iron loss. Comparisons are given with dynamic characteristics of normal single B-H nonlinear solutions and those of proposed FEM & Preisach model of synchronous reluctance motor, respectively.

  • This paper deals with the conductor bar design to improve starting stability of line start synchronous reluctance motor(LSSynRM). As design variables, the number and the shape of conductor bars of rotor are chosen. The starting characteristics are calculated by finite element method(FEM) and the conductor bars are designed to improve the starting torque according to the initial starting rotor position. Finally, the starting characteristic of the designed model are compared with that of the initial model.

  • This study investigates the characteristics of Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor (PMASynRM) using coupled FEM and Preisach modelling. The focus of this paper is the characteristics analysis of d, q axis inductance according to magnetizing direction and quantity of interior permanent magnet far PMASynRM. Investigation on nonlinear characteristic of machine is performed by Preisachs theory application. Comparisons are given with characteristics of normal Synchronous reluctance motor(SynRM) and those according to the quantity of residual flux density (0.3T and 0.4T) in PMASynRM, respectively.

  • The performance of a Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SynRM) in terms of torque and power factor depends on the two-axis inductances $L_d$ and $L_q$ of the machine. The Axially Laminated Anisotropic (ALA) rotor should be proposed in an effort to increase the $L_d/L_q$ ratio and the $L_d-L_q$ difference to secure high torque density and high power factor. So, ALA rotor is suitable for high speed instruments. This paper deals with optimum design of Axially Laminated Anisotropic Synchronous Reluctance Motor (ALA-SynRM) and comparison of characteristics with induction motor. Coupled Finite Element Methodology (FEM) & Response Surface Methodology (RSM) have been used to evaluate optimum design solutions. Comparisons are given with characteristics of a same rated wattage induction motor and those of ALA-SynRM respectively.

신경회로망을 이용한 동기 릴럭턴스 전동기의 직접토크제어 시스템 (A Direct Torque Control System for Reluctance Synchronous Motor Using Neural Network)

  • This paper presents an implementation of efficiency optimization of reluctance synchronous motor (RSM) using a neural network (NN) with a direct torque control (DTC). The equipment circuit considered with iron losses in RSM is analyzed theoretically, and the optimal current ratio between torque current and exiting current component are derived analytically. For the RSM driver, torque dynamic can be maintained with DTC using TMS320F2812 DSP Controller even with controlling the flux level because a torque is directly proportional to the stator current unlike induction motor. In order to drive RSM at maximum efficiency and good dynamics response, the Backpropagation Neural Network is adapted. The experimental results are presented to validate the applicability of the proposed method. The developed control system show high efficiency and good dynamic response features with 1.0 [kW] RSM having 2.57 inductance ratio of d/q.

  • This paper deals with thrust characteristic by design parameter of linear synchronous reluctance motor(LSynRM). Mover of LSynRM used stator of linear induction machine. Design parameter being teeth width, teeth depth, airgap and displacement, we analyzed thrust characteristic on singleness or complex case. Also, we presented thrust characteristic using finite element method.

  • In the high speed range for Vector control of Synchronous Reluctance Motor, the effect of iron loss and the cross-coupling of dq axis currents is dependent on the increase of the operating frequency can not be negligible. In this paper, we propose a decupling Vector control of dq axis current that the effect of iron loss is eliminated, and confirm that through simulation results.

  • Many Harmonics components is contained within the stator currents of the High-speed Reluctance Synchronous Motor with salient pole rotor. They cause the power factor of RSM to get worse. In this paper, the mathematical model of RSM is investigated. And SV-PWM control method is applied to reduce Harmonics components in the stator currents. Simulation results shows the fast response of speed and the reduction of Harmonics components at steady state

  • Reluctance Synchronous Motors(RSM) with new rotor shape are considered in this paper. Since the stator of a RSM is similar as that of an induction motor, attention is focused here on the rotor structure. We have designed the parameter of RSM and analyzed the characteristics of the electromagnetic energy conversion.
