CCSS 가공한 AA3103 판재에서 온간 압연 소성 거동 (Deformation Behavior during Warm Rolling in AA3103 Sheet deformed by CCSS)

  • In order to obtain the initial starting sample having a random texture and fine grains, aluminum alloy 3103 sheets were repeatedly deformed by CCSS up to six passages and subsequently annealed at $300^{\circ}C$ for 1h. These samples were cold rolled at room temperature and also warm rolled at $250^{\circ}C$. Changes in rolling temperature gave rise to the different texture evolution. Warm rolling led to the pronounced texture gradients comprising the shear texture at the surface and the rolling texture at the sheet center. The formation of the rolling texture components, i.e., the ${\beta}$-fiber, was promoted by cold rolling than warm rolling.

  • Cu-Ni-Zr-Ti bulk amorphous thin strips were produced by multi-pass warm rolling of the amorphous powder at temperatures in the supercooled liquid region. Process variables for rolling of the bulk amorphous strips were properly controlled to prevent onset of crystallization and failure during rolling up to three passes. During rolling of the amorphous powder, both the deformation and densification took place and the newly developed surface on the deformed amorphous particles enhances the consolidation leading to an increase in the strength. The strain state during rolling was analyzed by FEM.

  • 본 연구에서는 소수성 구현을 위한 표면 거칠기가 접촉각과 접촉각 이력에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 초발수 특성을 극대화하기 위해, 액적이 이동하기 위해 필요한 구름저항력을 제안하였으며, 이에 대한 평가를 통하여 표면에 형성한 패턴이 접촉각 이력 및 구름저항력에 큰 영향을 주는 것을 확인하였다. 초발수 특성이 요구되는 실제 응용을 위해서는 액적의 이동에 필요한 에너지를 최소화하기 위하여 접촉각을 극대화하고 동시에 접촉각 이력을 최소화하기 위한 표면 패턴 형상의 최적화가 요구됨을 확인하였다.

  • 차량의 동적특성, 즉 소음, 진동, 승차감 및 조종안정성능 등에 중요한 영향을 미치는 부품중에 하나로 차체의 중량을 지지하고 노면과 접촉하여 회전하면서 조타성을 지니는 타이어를 고려하지 않을 수 없다. 지금까지의 이러한 타이어 최적설계에 이용되어지고 있는 예측기법으로는 유한요소해석 방법이 널리 활용되어 지고 있으나, 이는 타이어에 공기압 주입 및 차량의 조종안정성능이 우수한 타이어 제품개발 및 개선을 위해 차량 주행시 타이어와 노면과의 접지면에 작용하는 힘과 모멘트를 예측할 수 있는 유한요소해석 적용기법을 개발하였으며,이러한 해석기법을 통한 결과와 실측치는 매우 유사한 관계를 지니고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 전술한 바와 같은 반복되는 압연부하에 의한 롤의 피로특성을 규명하기 위해 열연공장의 조압연기중 표본작업 롤의 피로특성을 규명하기 위해 열연 공장의 조압연기중 표본 작업 롤을 선정하고 일정기간의 사용이력을 조사하였으며, 이 를 토대로 롤내부 온도 및 열응력 계산을 수행하여 압연중 발생되는 피로 균열의 크기 를 정량화 시켜보았다. 또 표면 균열관찰 실험 및 롤 표면흠 대응 실험을 통해 피로 균열이 압연판의 표면품질에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 조사해보았다.

  • Kinematics of grasping and manipulation by a multi-fingered robotic hand where multi-fingertip surfaces are in contact with an object is solved. The surface of the object was represented by B-spline surfaces in order to model the objects of various shapes. The fingers were modeled by cylindrical links and a half ellipsoid fingertip. Geometric equations of contact locations have been solved for all possible contact combinations between the fingertip surface and the object. The simulation system calculated joint displacements and contact locations for a given trajectory of the object. Since there are no closed form solutions for contact or intersection between these surfaces, kinematics of grasping was solved by recursive numerical calculation. The initial estimate of the contact point was obtained by approximating the B-spline surface to a polyhedron. As for the simulation of manipulation, exact contact locations were updated by solving the contact equations according to the given contact states such as pure rolling, twist-rolling or slide-twist-rolling. Several simulation examples of grasping and manipulation are presented.

2-pass 이주속압연된 인탈산동판재의 두께방향으로의 미세조직 및 기계적 특성 (Microstructure and Mechanical Property in Thickness Direction of a Deoxidized Low-Phosphorous Copper Sheet Processed by Two-Pass Differential Speed Rolling)

  • A two-pass differential speed rolling(DSR) was applied to a deoxidized low-phosphorous copper alloy sheet in order to form a homogeneous microstructure. Copper alloy with a thickness of 3 mm was rolled to 75 % reduction by two-pass rolling at $150^{\circ}C$ without lubrication at a differential speed ratio of 2.0:1. In order to introduce uniform shear strain into the copper alloy sheet, the second rolling was performed after turning the sample by $180^{\circ}$ on the transverse direction axis. Conventional rolling(CR), in which the rotating speeds of the upper roll and lower roll are identical to each other, was also performed by two-pass rolling under a total rolling reduction of 75 %, for comparison. The shear strain introduced by the conventional rolling showed positive values at positions of the upper roll side and negative values at positions of the lower roll side. However, samples processed by the DSR showed zero or positive values at all positions. {100}//ND texture was primarily developed near the surface and center of thickness for the CR, while {110}//ND texture was primarily developed for the DSR. The difference in misorientation distribution of grain boundary between the upper roll side surface and center regions was very small in the CR, while it was large in the DSR. The grain size was smallest in the upper roll side region for both the CR and the DSR. The hardness showed homogeneous distribution in the thickness direction in both CR and DSR. The average hardness was larger in CR than in DSR.

판재 압연에서의 결함성장과 집합조직의 발전 (Damage Evolution and Texture Development During Plate Rolling)

  • A process model including the effects of both the texture development and ductile damage evolution In plane strain rolling is presented. In this process model, anisotropy from deformation texture and deterioration of mechanical properties due to growth of micro voids are directly coupled Into the virtual work expressions for the momentum and mass balances. Special treatments in obtaining the initial values of field variables in the nonlinear simultaneous equations for the anisotropic, dilatant viscoplastic deformation are also given. Mutual effects of the texture development and damage evolution during plate rolling are carefully examined in terms of the distribution of strain components, accumulated damage, R-value as well as yield surfaces.

  • An inhomogeneous rolling texture of high purity aluminum has been observed by a multilayered rolling. The shear texture of (100)[110] component developed in the surface layer, and the copper type rolling texture developed in the middle and center layers. The through-thickness texture variation has been calculated by the full-constraint Taylor model combined with FEM. The calculated results are in good agreement with the measured data.

  • Profile ring rolling process for large slewing rings of alley steels are developed. A profile ring with a round groove located asymmetrically on the outer surface is rolled. The process is simulated by the finite element method. The general-purpose commercial finite element analysis software, MSC.Superform, was used. Experiments are carried in the ring rolling machine and compared with the analysis.
