일래스토메릭 부싱의 회전방향 모두 비선형 점탄성 모델연구 (A Study of A Nonlinear Viscoelastic Model for Elastomeric Bushing in Torsional Mode)

  • An elastomeric bushing is a device used in automotive suspension systems to cushion the force transmitted from the wheel to the frame of the vehicle. A bushing is an elastomeric hollow cylinder which is bonded to a solid metal shaft at its inner surface and a metal sleeve at its outer surface. For axial motion case, the relation between the force applied to the shaft and their relative displacement was considered. In this paper, the relation between the moment applied to the shaft and their relative deformation(angle of rotation) is considered for the torsional motion case. Numerical solutions of the boundary value problem represent the exact bushing response for use in the method for determining the moment relaxation function of the bushing. Solutions also allow for comparison between the exact moment-deformation behavior and that predicted the proposed model. It is shown that the predictions of the proposed moment-deformation relation are in very good agreement with the exact results.

  • 응력-변형률 관계의 모델링에 있어서 creep, stress relaxation, strain rate effect 등의 묘사는 중요한 지반거동중의 하나인 시간 의존적 거동의 simulation은 있어서 대단히 중요한 요소라 할 수 있다. 특히 지반은 변형률 속도에 대하여 때로는 매우 다른 거동 특성을 보이기 때문에 지반의 모델링에 있어서 변형율 속도를 고려한 구성방정식의 제시는 큰 비중을 차지한다 하겠다. 본 연구에서는 변형율에 따라 변화하는 지반의 거동특성을 보다 현실에 가깝게 묘사하기 위한 구성모델을 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 Bounding Surface Model의 점탄소성 부분을 Perzyna(1966)와 Adachi and Oka(1982)의 구성방정식 이론을 이용하여 발전시켰다. 제안된 구성모델은 기존의 모델에 비하여 다양한 변형율 속도에 적용할 수 있는 모델 정수를 비교적 간단히 결정할 수 있다는 장점이 있으며, 변형율 속도의 영향뿐 아니라 creep, stress relaxation등의 현상도 잘 simulation 할 수 있다. 본 모델은 후에 엄격히 실시되는 실내시험을 통하여 검증될 예정이다.

유한한 평판에서 포물선형 및 쌍곡선형 열전도 방정식과 파동 방정식의 비교 해석 (Comparative Analysis of the Parabolic and Hyperbolic Heat Conduction and the Damped Wave in a Finite Medium)

  • The wave nature of heat conduction has been developed in situations involving extreme thermal gradients, very short times, or temperatures near absolute zero. Under the excitation of a periodic surface heating in a finite medium, the hyperbolic and parabolic heat conduction equations and the damped wave equations in heat flux are presented for comparative analysis by using the Green's function with the integral transform technique. The Kummer transformation is also utilized to accelerate the rate of convergence of these solutions. On the other hand, the temperature distributions are obtained through integration of the energy conservation law with respect to time. For hyperbolic heat conduction, the heat flux distribution does not exist throughout all the region in a finite medium within the range of very short times(${\xi}<{\eta}_l$). It is shown that due to the thermal relaxation time, the hyperbolic heat conduction equation has thermal wave characteristics as the damped wave equation has wave nature.

Wave propagation in fibre-reinforced anisotropic thermoelastic medium subjected to gravity field

  • The objective of this paper is to investigate the surface waves in fibre-reinforced anisotropic thermoelastic medium subjected to gravity field. The theory of generalized surface waves has firstly developed and then it has been employed to investigate particular cases of waves, viz., Stoneley waves, Rayleigh waves and Love waves. The analytical expressions for displacement components, force stress and temperature distribution are obtained in the physical domain by using the harmonic vibrations. The wave velocity equations have been obtained in different cases. The numerical results are given and presented graphically in Green-Lindsay and Lord-Shulman theory of thermoelasticity. Comparison was made with the results obtained in the presence and absence of gravity, anisotropy, relaxation times and parameters for fibrereinforced of the material medium. The results indicate that the effect of gravity, anisotropy, relaxation times and parameters for fibre-reinforced of the material medium are very pronounced.

  • We performed a total energy calculation of clean alumunum surfaces of three low indices based on a density functional theory with a local density approximation, using the Ceperly-Alder exhange correlation parametrized by Perdew and Zunger. Pseudopotentials were generated for Al of which the plane wave cut-off was 15Ry. We used Gaussian broadening of a Fermi level to accelerate the convergence of our calculation with the Gaussian energy smearing parameter of 0.005Ry. First, we determine the lattice constant of the aluminum of an face-centered-cubic structure to be 3.96 which is comparable to the experimental data of 4.05 . The cohesive energy of 4.20eV/atom and the bulk modulus of 0.775$\times$1012dyne/cm2 are also comparable to the experimental values of 3.39eV/atom and 0.772$\times$1012dyne/cm2, respectively. Then we investigated the surface relaxation of (100), (110) and (111) surfaces using a 9-layer slab separated by 6-layer thick vacuum. The results are consistent with the existing experimental results.

  • As technologies have been more quickly developed in this 4th Industry Revolution era, their application to defense industry has been also growing. With these much advanced technologies, we attempt to use Manned-Unmanned Teaming systems in various military operations. In this study, we consider the Location-Routing Problem for reconnaissance surveillance missions of the maritime manned-unmanned surface vehicles. As a solution technique, the two-phase method is presented. In the first location phase, the p-median problem is solved to determine which nodes are used as the seeds for the manned vehicles using Lagrangian relaxation with the subgradient method. In the second routing phase, using the results obtained from the location phase, the Vehicle Routing Problems are solved to determine the search routes of the unmanned vehicles by applying the Location Based Heuristic. For three network data sets, computational experiments are conducted to show the performance of the proposed two-phase method.

나노기술을 위한 DMPC 유기박막의 유전완화특성 (Dielectric Relaxation Properties of DMPC Organic Thin Films for Nanotechnology)

  • 본 논문에서는 인지질 단분자인 DMPC 유기초박막에 압력 자극을 이용하여 표면압과 변위전류의 검출에 따른 유전 완화현상에 대한 물리적 특성 평가를 하였다. 유기초박막에서 약간의 유전 완화 시간이 소요되었는데 이는 분자 영역에 의존한다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 유기박막의 누적 조건에 의해 제작된 MIM 소자에 전압을 인가시, LB막의 누적층수가 증가 할수록 저항이 증가한다는 것을 알 수 있었는데 이는 유기초박막의 층수가 증가하여 전극간의 거리가 멀어질수록 더 높은 전계에서도 파괴되지 않는 절연특성이 나타남을 알 수 있었으며 나노단위의 유기초박막의 비교적 양호한 절연성을 확인, 제시 하였다.

$SrTiO_3$계 세라믹의 전기적인 특성 (Electrical Properties of $SrTiO_3$-based Ceramics)

  • The (Sr$_1$-\ulcorner.Ca\ulcorner)TiO$_3$(0.05 x 0.2) ceramics were fabricated to form semiconducting ceramics by sintering at about 1350[$^{\circ}C$] in a reducing atmosphere($N_2$gas). After being fired in a reducing atmosphere, metal oxides(CuO) was painted on the both surface of the specimens to diffuse to the grain boundary. The capacitance changes slowly and almost linearly in the temperature region of -40~+85[$^{\circ}C$]. The capacitance characteristics appears a stable value within $\pm$10[%]. According to increase of the frequency as a functional of temperature, all specimens used in this study showed the dielectric relaxation, and the relaxation frequency was above 10\ulcorner[Hz]. The capacitance is almost unchanged below about 20[V] but it decrease slowly over 20[V]. The voltage-current characteristics of specimens observed in the temperature range of 25~125[$^{\circ}C$] as the current increased appears that it is due to space charge condensed to interface between grain and grain boundary.

모의 생체조직의 표면온도 조건에 따른 근육이완 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Muscle Relaxation according to the Temperature Condition at the Surface of Imitational Biological Tissue)

  • In this study, the characteristics of muscle relaxation were analyzed by the experimental and numerical method. A skin tissue was produced by imitational biological tissue using the agar powder, saline solution and sugar. The tissue was exposed to three types of wavelength-blue visible radiation(410 nm), red visible radiation(635 nm), and infrared ray(830 nm). The temperature results along the depth of tissue were measured according to the variation of light wavelength and irradiation time. The temperature change of the tissue shown up similar pattern regardless of the light wavelength kinds. The wavelength of infrared ray penetrated strongly into tissue between 3.2 mm and 11.4 mm. Also, the temperature change with the irradiation time was small, and the temperature value of the infrared ray was the largest. As a result, the muscle relaxation will occur mainly at the infrared wavelength.

자유 체적이론을 고려한 급냉 폴리스티렌판에 발생하는 잔류응력과 복굴절 형성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Prediction of Thermally-Induced Residual Stress and Birefringence in Quenched Polystyrene Plate Including Free Volume Theory)

  • The residual stress and birefringence in injection-molded plastic parts can be divided into the flow-induced residual stress and birefringence produced in flowing stage, the thermally-induced residual stress and birefringence produced in cooling stage. However, the physics involved in the generation of the thermally-induced residual stress and birefringence still remains to be understood. Because polymer experiences viscoelastic history near the glass-transition temperature it is hard to model the entire process. Volume relaxation phenomenon was included to predict the final thermally-induced residual stress and birefringence in quenched plastic parts more accurately. The present study focused on comparing the predicted values far thermally-induced residual stress and birefringence with and without volume relaxation behavior (or free volume theory) under free and constrained quenching conditions. As a result, tile residual stress remained as a tensile stress at the center and as a compressible stress near the surface for the free quenching cases. In contract the residual stress remained as a compressible stress at the center and as a tensile stress near the surface fur the constrained quenching cases. The residual birefringence remained as minus values at the center and as plus values near the surface for the free quenching cases. Interestingly the residual birefringence showed minus values in entire zone for the constrained quenching cases. In the prediction of birefringence only the case including free volume theory showed the correct result for the distribution of birefringence in thickness direction.
