Movement from aging society to aged society and to ultra aged society is a fact that we have to accept as reality. It also means that we are given a common assignment of supporting the aged. Therefore, this study dealt with forms of space of the welfare facilities for the aged in Japan that are being suggested as a plan to solve the problem of supporting the aged. Japan who has similar Confucian culture like Korea experienced the aging of population 30 years earlier and enactment of law 20 years earlier than Korea. Therefore, Korean policies, systems and standards for welfare of the aged have been following Japanese welfare development model. This study analyzed the small-scale multifunctional welfare facilities for the aged in Japan before founding them in Korea to adapt the facilities that are compatible in domestic circumstance.

Excessive emission of greenhouse gases from fossil fuels usage has become a major cause of climate change. As an alternative to reduce the greenhouse gas emission, renewable energy has been highlighted around the world and UK government also established the Climate Change Act 2008 and policies for response the climate change. Those of them has been supporting many practical actions for reducing greenhouse gas emission and community energy projects is representative program to supporting security of energy supply and helping the country to reduce its carbon footprint. Rural Community Energy Fund (RCEF) which is one of community energy projects supports rural communities to develop renewable energy projects which provide economic and social benefits to the community. The review of UK's renewable energy policies and action plan can be useful to promote in Korea policies for becoming low-carbon society.

The home network, contributing to improve the quality of life in dwelling, has expanded its installation and use in past years, but the elderly care system supporting self-reliance is not fully prepared. Although the aging society in Korea is progressing rapidly, inducting and spreading home network system is still required supporting of 'Aging in Place' for the elderly. This research is based the survey of spatial characteristics of housing of the elderly. Also, the research studied the technical level and policy of home network in domestic and abroad and analyze the professional view of experts in the home network field, as a result, suggested methods of building and activating the home network system.

This study presents the methods to improve the urban farming in Korea by analysing the current circumstances of urban farming in Korea. Specifically, the legal system in association with urban farming, current status of the act on the urban farming, the present situation of the Korean urban farming, and the comprehensive plans for urban farming have been analysed in order to grasp the present situations and seek for solutions. Based on these, the research provides effective supporting methods for sustainable urban farming in Korea. As a result, the essentials to improved urban farming can be summarized with two factors; securing more space for urban farming and improving the supporting system for the urban farmers. Enthusiastic attitudes of local governments, security of budget, and cooperation with the citizens are vital to expand the urban farming in addition to the institutional and systematic urban farming improving methods mentioned above.

본 연구에서는 명지전문대학에서 시행되고 다양한 학습지원 프로그램을 프로그래밍 언어 수업에 적용하여 운영하였던 사례를 제시하고 학습자 의견 및 만족도를 조사하였다. 학습지원 프로그램의 참여는 자발적으로 이루졌으며, 분석 결과 전반적으로 학습자들은 학습지원 프로그램에 대해 만족하는 것으로 나타났고, 참여 학습자 그룹의 성적이 비참여 학습자 그룹보다 좋은 것으로 나타나 학습지원 프로그램이 학습에 도움이 됨을 알 수 있었다. 또한 참여 프로그램에 따라 학습자들의 참여 목적과 참여를 통해 얻은 좋은 점은 다른 것으로 나타났고 비참여 학습자들의 참여하지 않은 이유가 프로그램 운영 환경과 관련이 있는 것으로 나타나 학습지원 프로그램의 효과적인 활용을 위해서는 학습자의 학습 목적에 따라 참여 프로그램을 제안할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

In practice of urban redevelopment promotion projects, since the decision-making is dependent on the verbal agreements between the participants, planning changes are frequently occur. A master plan can be utilized as an effective feedback and adjusting means for decisions. It is a difficult to establish a master plan quickly and effectively to consider the large number of information. Effective decision support system that can storage and retrieval information items systematically and efficiently necessary when planning master plan is required. In this study, a data-warehouse prototype that supports the master planning at early stage was suggested. A metadata index database was developed by identifying information items of base survey results and master plan cases. Also user interface for information searching was presented. The applicability of the prototype was evaluated by case application. It was found that the prototype allows effective searching of desired information through meta data.

In this study, we have developed algorithms to find more effective solutions for compensatory decision-making problems in the case of the decision maker with fuzziness which can occur in a real world fuzzy environment. We have applied the algorithm to the problems related to the structural reform of the capital and the number of workers in the local industry. We have selected Taegu city for this study. In this study, we have determined the capital and the number of workers, satisfying maximum productivity and minimum air and water pollution under the constraints such as capital-labor ratio, the demand for land and water and the fluctuation of the capital and the number of workers. The determined capital and the number of workers could improve the competitive advantage of Taegu city and could be utilized as criteria for the compilation of the budget, determination of policy for supporting plan of companies, the forecast of number of workers and the training plan of workers.

An infrastructure has been expand with government-initiated series of supporting business in the country rural village. However, there has still been a shortage of it compared to the city. it needs the infra-improvements that making international competitiveness for agricultural competitiveness securing and improving for housing condition. In particular, Public using facilities in rural village are not function as communal identity but life as enjoy culture for farmer. Therefor it is hot-issue that changed rural economy recently is innovated suitable. This study suggests the customized revitalization strategy for the variation of inside and outside of rural communities, after analyzing and classifying on current status of public using facilities in rural village, in chungcheong area.

In recent, internal IT industries are suffering a severe pain due to stagnancy of business activities. Particularly, internal software industries are losing international competitiveness. As to solve this problems, the paper is studied about political plans for supporting internal software industries. The paper has two important topics which are enlarged plan of domestic demand and supplement of the expert personnel in internal software industries. The paper consists of three parts: one is plan which prevents for using illegal softwares, another is problems which is related to publication of expert programming books, and the other is If educations of governmental leading. The paper suggests realistic price of softwares, powerful inspection about illegal softwares as governmental leading, and continuous public relations for changing consumers'awareness.

The EU recently adopted the policy for organic food and farming, Even though the EU enacted a regulation for organic farming in 1991, there has been no formal policy for supporting organic farming in the EU. This may mean that the EU regards the organic food and farming as an important sector for the future of European farming. Therefore, this study firstly explores the development processes and current situation of the EU organic food and farming policy, and then summaries the priorities of the EU organic food and farming sector. These were reflected to make up an action plan and a new regulation for the EU organic food and farming. The main features of the recent change in the EU policy would be the application of comprehensive perspective for dealing with organic food and farming issues.
