  • 차세대 인터넷의 기반이 되고 있는 IPv6(Internet Protocol version 6, RFC2460)상에서 이동성(Mobility)을 지원하기 위하여 IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force)에서는 Mobile IPv6에 대한 표준화 작업을 진행 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 라우터, 홈에이전트와 외부네트워크라우터 등의 접근노드, 대응노드, 이동단말 등의 구성요소를 활용하여 IPv6 상에서 이동성지원시스템을 구축하였으며 구축된 시스템에서 Mobile IPv6 기능 및 성능 평가를 수행하였다.

  • 현재 인터넷 사용자의 증가와 더불어 사용자들이 원하는 서비스가 다양해짐에 따라 기존의 Best effort 서비스로는 사용자들이 요구하는 응용 서비스들을 제대로 지원할 수가 없게되었고, 이에 IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force)애서는 사용들의 QoS 제공을 위해 Integrated service model과 Differential service model이 제안되었다. 그러나 소규모 망에서 적용 가능한 Intserv와 대규모 망에서 사용적절한 Diffserv망의 service 방식이 다르기 때문에 End-to-End간에 QoS 제공을 위해서는 이에 대한 망의 연동이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 두 망간의 연동을 위한 Framework을 제안하였다.

  • 유럽지역에서의 현재 및 차세대 이동통신의 규격화를 추진하고 있는 3GPP(3$^{rd}$ generation partnership project)의 경우, 부족한 단말의 주소 및 네트워킹의 향상성을 위해 적극적으로 IPv6의 도입을 추진하고 있는 상황이다. 한편 IPv6 자체의 규격은 IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force)에서 진행하고 있는데, 현재 상황의 경우 3GPP에서 IPv6할당의 규격은 IETF의 규격과 완전호환이 되어 있지않아 IETF가 권고안을 마련한 상태이다. 본 논문은 이러한 상태에서 IETF의 권고안을 만족하는 3GPP네트워크에서의 IPv6주소 할당 방식을 제안한다.

  • In this paper, a control algorithm is discussed when the quadruped walking robot walks over the unknown soft ground. Firstly, it estimated the relationship between the foot force and the ground sinkage at the leg-placing phase. Secondly, the generated soil property is applied to the leg-supporting phase. If the attitude angle is changed by incorrect ground sinkage compensation, the control algorithm adjusts the attitude angle using simplified orientation orientation matrix.

  • Computer simulation technique has been applied on the various engineering fields to reduce cost and development period. On this paper, we introduce a crane analysis program. Using this program, we can predict reaction force of each part or supporting force of truck crane on a personal computer system with out exclusive knowledge of multi-body dynamics. In order to consider the effect of boom flexibility according to each working condition, flexible dynamic theory is applied to the program. Actual crane model is analyzed on special work condition using this program and the results are compared with those of rigid boom model.

  • In this paper, a proper support tuning method is established by identifying the dynamic characteristics of the machine, the floor. and the inertia force. Also, the limitation of a passive isolation is presented. To simplify the dynamic analysis and to establish a proper design method for supporting system, each of the machine and the floor is modeled as a single degree of freedom spring-mass-damper system under careful investigation of the dynamic characteristics of each system and appropriate assumptions. Then, the dynamic behavior of a 2DOF system and the effect of the mass and the damping are investigated. Also, the characteristics of motion profiles are investigated. In addition, a quasi-static analysis on the transmitted force through support is performed and related tests are performed.

  • Analogous problem for a gear dynamics where helical gears excite logitudinal forces in the shaft is studied. These shaft forces excite the supporting gear housing through bearing, causing structural vibration. In this study, shaft is modeled as a rod, and bearing is modeled by a massless spring. A simple model for gear housing is a clamped circular plate. To model this force transmission, the transfer functions from the shaft to a clamped circular plate are analytically derived by using the spectral method and four-pole parameter. Finally, radiated noise is computed, using the acoustic relations due to plate surface vibration.

  • This paper presents the modeling and analysis of dynamic characteristics of hydraulic snubber in electric power plant. The nonlinear state equations of 9th order to describe the dynamics of the snubber was established by Sirnulink. The simulation results show that the hydraulic snubber reacts as like the conventional shock absolvers to the high pulse shock load. The snubber also shows the peculiar characteristics to the small step load, which are temporary locking displacements of control valves and same steady-state pressures of all internal chambers in the snubber.

  • On the stability of the cantilever beam subjected to a follower force at the free end, the influences of the translational spring and the moment of inertia of a tip mass at the free end have been studied by numerical methods. The centroid of a tip mass is offset from the free end of a Beam and is located along its extended axis to vary the value of moment of inertia of a tip mass. It is proved that as the constants of a spring supporting the free end are augmented, the critical flutter loads of the above system decrease, whereas they increase without a tip mass.
