This paper proposes an implementable sun tracking algorithm for portable systems powered by alternative energy sources. The proposed system uses a 2-axis tilt sensor and a 3-axis magnetic sensor to measure the orientation and posture of the system, according to a horizon coordinates system, and compensate for tilt effects. Then, through an astronomical calculation, using the present time and position information obtained from GPS sensors, the azimuth and altitude of the sun in that location is calculated and converted to portable sun tracking system coordinates and used to control the A- and C-axes of the system.

This paper describes the design and implementation of hybrid sun tracking solar power generation system designed by combining astronomical data with optical tracking mechanism. The advantages of proposed power generation system are small amounts of calculation for tracking operations and enhancement of 40% of power generation at best. This system is able to track toward optimal position for maximum sun-lights under scattered lights due to clouds. The performance of implemented power generation system is confirmed by field experiments.

Maffucci's syndrome is generally characterized by chondromatosis with vascular lesions of mesodermal origin, however, intracranial chondroma is rare. We present a case of Maffucci syndrome with paracellar chondroma and the review of literatures.

전시회를 개최하는 목적은 기업과 고객 간의 상품 정보 교환의 장을 제공하는데 있다. 이에 대응하여 박람회 개최를 위한 총괄적인 관리가 필요하다. 이러한 총괄적인 관리가 이루어진다면 박람회를 유치하는 주최 측과 참가하는 기업 측, 참관 측에 대한 서비스의 폭이 넓어지고, 상호작용이 수월하게 이루어 질 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 총괄적인 관리가 가능한 박람회 관리 애플리케이션을 개발하고자 한다. 특히, QR코드를 통해, 설문지를 작성, 배포할 수 있는 일원화 시스템을 만들고자 한다.

재고관리 시스템이란 기업 활동에서 상품의 구입, 보유, 판매, 발송 등의 여러 원활한 활동을 하기 위해 상품의 흐름을 종합적으로 관리하는 시스템이다. 현재 많은 중소기업에서 바코드를 이용한 재고관리 시스템을 사용하고 있다. 바코드를 이용한 재고관리 시스템은 바코드의 인식거리가 50cm, 인식 속도가 대략 4초 정도 된다. 이러한 성능 때문에 입고 와 출고 부분에서 수작업으로 진행되어 많은 인력 소모가 되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 바코드에 비해 인식 거리, 인식 속도가 월등히 좋은 RFID 시스템을 이용하여 입고와 출고를 하고, 불필요한 인력 소모를 감소하여 효율적인 재고관리가 이루어지도록 연구하고자 한다.

3D 프린터의 보급으로 3D 모델링에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 3D 모델링에 대한 지식이 없는 사람들의 경우 기존 3D 모델링 도구를 사용하기 위해서는 도구에 대한 지식 습득은 물론 기능 중심의 복잡한 UI에 대한 숙달이 필요하다. 그렇기 때문에 본 논문에서는 기능 중심의 UI 구조와 모델링 프로세스 중심의 UI 구조에 대하여 3D 모델링의 효율성을 비교한다.

본 논문에서는 공간 데이터를 기반으로 한 도시 정보를 알고리즘을 통해서 시각화하고 시각화된 데이터를 지도와 사상(Mapping)하여 볼 수 있게 할 뿐만 아니라 공간적 정보를 기반으로 의사 결정을 하는 경우 활용할 수 있는 문서를 사용자의 간단한 조작으로 프로그래밍 방식에 의해 작성해주는 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템을 통해서 공간적 정보를 시각화를 한다면 지역의 공간적 정보를 쉽게 파악할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 분석된 정보를 기반으로 제공되고 있는 문서 자동화를 활용한다면 공간적 정보의 문서화에 필요한 많은 시간과 비용을 절감할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

임베디드 시스템은 현재 가전, 단말, 제어, 통신등 다양한 분야에서 응용되고 있으며 컴퓨터 관련 기술의 발전과 더불어 응용분야는 더욱 넓어질 것이다. 이러한 임베디드 시스템의 관리나 테스트를 위해 모니터링 프로그램이 필요하다. 임베디드 시스템은 일반 PC 시스템과 달리 많은 제약을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 자원적 제약을 가진 임베디드에 활용되어지는 NFS를 이용한 임베디드 장비 모니터링에 적합한 MONETA(distributed MONitoring for Embedded TArget system)를 설계, 구현하였다. MONETA에서 제시하는 구조는 모니터링을 위한 서버, 모니터링하는 대상인 클라이언트, 시스템 사용자의 3계층 구조의 분산 모니터링 시스템으로 각 장비별 CPU, Moemory, Disk, 트래픽량을 그래프로 나타도록 구현된다.

정보통신 기술과 무선 통신기술의 발달은 서로 다른 종류의 임베디드 시스템들이 상호작용을 가능하도록 만들었고, 이러한 작용은 언제, 어디서나, 누구나 자유롭게 네트워크에 접속 할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 환경으로 이어졌다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드 시스템 개발방법인 프로토타이핑 방법과 증강현실기술을 이용하여 적은 비용으로 효과적인 u-City 시뮬레이션 모델을 구현하였다.
