  • Environmental monitoring sub-system has been developed using gas sensor module, Bluetooth module and PDA phone. The gas sensor module consists of $NO_2or$ CO gas sensor and signal processing chips. Gas sensor is composed of the micro-heater, sensing electrode and sensing material. Metal oxide nano-material was selectively deposited on a substrate with micro-heater and was integrated to the gas sensor module. The change in resistance of the metal oxide nano-material due to exposure of oxidizing or deoxidizing gases is utilized as the principle of this gas sensor operation mechanism. This variation detected in the gas sensor module was transferred to the PDA phone by way of Bluetooth module.

  • The stability issues of a multi-module distributed DC power system without current-sharing loop are analyzed in this study. The physical understanding of the terminal characteristics of each sub-module is focused on. All the modules are divided into two groups based on the different terminal property types, namely, impedance (Z) and admittance (Y) types. The equivalent circuits of each group are established to analyze the stability issues, and the mathematical equations of the equivalent circuits are derived. A generalized criterion for multi-module distributed systems is proposed based on the stability criterion in a cascade system. The proposed criterion is independent of the power flow direction.

  • This paper was proposed Intelligent and wireless USN/RFID module system that can overcome disadvantage of existing RFID system with no sensing module and wire communication. The proposed USN/RFID system was designed and fabricated. After fabricating new system, we analyzed the characteristics of USN/RFID module. After design VCO block that is point circuit to develop next generation system one chip of RFID system. we were carried out simulation and verified the validity, this paper was showed that VCO system was enough usable in wireless network module. USN/RFID Reader module shows superior result that validity awareness distance corresponds to 30M in the case of USN and to 5M in RFID Reader's case and 900MHz of commercial frequency does practical use enoughly in range of high frequency. The USN/RFID Reader module is considered to act big role to Ubiqitous industry offering computing surrounding of new concept that is intelligence type service and that was associated to real time location system(RTLS). environment improvement/supervision. national defense, traffic administration etc.

  • The present work proposes the potential fuzzy framework, based on fuzzy set theory, for supporting decision-making problems, especially, selection problems of a best design in the area of nuclear energy system. The framework proposed is composed of the hierarchical structure module, the assignment module, the fuzzification module, and the defuzzification module. In the structure module, the relationship among decision objectives, decision criteria, decision sub-criteria, and decision alternatives is hierarchically structured. In the assignment module, linguistic or rank scoring approach can be used to assign subjective and/or vague values to the decision analyst's judgment on decision variables. In the fuzzification module, fuzzy numbers are assigned to these values of decision variables. Using fuzzy arithmetic operations, for each alternative, fuzzy preference index as a fuzzy synthesis measure is obtained. In the defuzzification module, using one of methods ranking fuzzy numbers, these indices are defuzzified to overall utility values as a cardinality measure determining final scores. According these values, alternatives of interest are ranked and an optimal alternative is chosen. To illustrate the applicability of the framework proposed to selection problem, as a case example, the best option choice of four design options under five decision criteria for primary containment wall thickening around large penetrations in an advanced nuclear energy system is studied.

  • An increase in the temperature of photovoltaic (PV) modules causes reduced power output and shorter lifetime. Because of these characteristics, demands for the heat dissipation of PV modules are increasing. In this study, we attached a heat dissipation sheet to the back sheet of a shingled PV module and observed the temperature changes. The PV shingled module was tested under Standard Test Conditions (STCs; irradiance: 1,000 W/㎡, temperature: 25℃, air mass: 1.5) using a solar radiation tester, wherein the temperature of the PV module was measured by irradiating light for a certain duration. As a result, the temperature of the PV module with the heat dissipation sheet decreased by 3℃ compared to that without a heat dissipation sheet. This indicated that the power loss was caused by a temperature increase of the PV module. In addition, it was confirmed that the primary parameter contributing to the reduced PV module output power was the open circuit voltage (Voc).

  • Let A be a G-graded commutative ring with identity and M a graded A-module. Let m, n be positive integers with m > n. A proper graded submodule L of M is said to be graded (m, n)-closed if amg·xt ∈ L implies that ang·xt ∈ L, where ag ∈ h(A) and xt ∈ h(M). The aim of this paper is to explore some basic properties of these class of submodules which are a generalization of graded (m, n)-closed ideals. Also, we investigate GCmn - rad property for graded submodules.

  • Some discrimination of modules whose endomorhism rings are prime is introduced, by means of structures of submodules inducing prime ideals of the endomorphism ring End(sub)R (M) of a left R-module (sub)RM over a ring R. Modules with non-prime endomorphism rings are contrapositively studied as well.
