  • In the present study, we have constructed a new Banach series space |𝛶r|up by using concept of absolute Jordan totient summability |𝛶r, un|p which is derived by the infinite regular matrix of the Jordan's totient function. Also, we prove that the series space |𝛶r|up is linearly isomorphic to the space of all p-absolutely summable sequences ℓp for p ≥ 1. Moreover, we compute the α-, β- and γ- duals of this space and construct Schauder basis for the series space |𝛶r|up. Finally, we characterize the classes of infinite matrices (|𝛶r|up, X) and (X, |𝛶r|up), where X is any given classical sequence spaces ℓ, c, c0 and ℓ1.

  • In this paper, a new class of bi-univalent functions that are described by Gegenbauer polynomials is presented. We obtain the estimates of the Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients |m2| and |m3| for each function in this class of bi-univalent functions. In addition, the Fekete-Szegö problems function new are also studied.

  • In this paper, we give some results an upper bound of Hankel determinant of H2(1) for the classes of 𝓝 (𝜶). We get a sharp upper bound for H2(1) = c3 - c22 for 𝓝 (𝜶) by adding z1, z2, …, zn zeros of f(z) which are different than zero. Moreover, in a class of analytic functions on the unit disc, assuming the existence of angular limit on the boundary point, the estimations below of the modulus of angular derivative have been obtained. Finally, the sharpness of the inequalities obtained in the presented theorems are proved.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how the level of participation in dance classes affects the development of social skills and peer relationship. The results are as follows: First, in terms of social skill development and peer relationship based on demographic characteristics, competition-a sub-factor of peer relationship-was higher in male students. In terms of grade level, confidence-a sub-factor of peer relationship-was high in second year students. Second, in terms of the effect of dance class participation on social skill development, autonomy, achievement, and cooperation-sub-factors of social skill-were significantly influenced by the period of participation in dance classes. Participation frequency, on the other hand, was found to significantly impact accountability and activity. Such results indicate that longer dance class participation periods more significantly influences social skill development. Third, in terms of the influence of dance class participation in peer relationship, students who participated in dance classes longer experienced positive impacts regarding sub-factors of peer relationship. Longer participation periods were correlated with lower hostilities. That is, longer participation period and time, as well as, higher participation frequency, have impact on peer relationship.

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of science classes using abductive strategies on the scientific concept understanding and meta-cognition. The subjects included two classes of sixth graders from K Elementary School in B Metropolitan City and they divided into two groups. Research group was composed of 21 students(10 boys, 11 girls) and comparative group was composed of 21 students(11 boys, 10 girls). In order to achieve aims of this study, proper contents to apply abductive strategies were selected from the first semester science curriculum for sixth graders. Also five-steps study papers were designed to elicit abductive reasoning. While the research group received 20 times of reframed science lessons using abductive strategies, the comparative group received common science lessons according to the teachers' manual. The results of this study are as follows. First, science classes using abductive strategies were effective for the scientific concept understanding. Also there were statistically significant differences between the research group and the comparative group in overall science sub-domain. In the process of hypothesis formulating, students tried to find out scientific causes thoroughly to present the optimal explanation and they concentrated on the analysis of each scientific concept. It is thought that this process contributed to better understanding in scientific concepts. Second, science classes using abductive strategies were effective for improving meta-cognition. There were statistically significant differences between the two groups and especially in monitoring that is one of sub-factors of meta-cognition. It indicates that hypothesis formulating process gave positive effect on meta-cognition by stimulating critical thinking and manifesting elaboration.

  • For j = 0, 1, 2,…, k - 1; k ≥ 2; and - 1 ≤ B < A ≤ 1, we have introduced the functions classes denoted by ST[j,k](A, B) and K[j,k](A, B), respectively, called the generalized (j, k)-symmetric starlike and convex functions. We first proved the sharp bounds on |f(z)| and |f'(z)|. Various radii related problems, such as radius of (j, k)-symmetric starlikeness, convexity, strongly starlikeness and parabolic starlikeness are determined. The quantity |a23 - a5|, which provide the initial bound on Zalcman functional is obtained for the functions in the family ST[j,k]. Furthermore, the sharp pre-Schwarzian norm is also established for the case when f is a member of K[j,k](α) for all 0 ≤ α < 1.

  • New classes of LC resonators for micro magnetic sensor device were proposed and fabricated. The first type LC resonator (Type I) consists of a small piece of microwire and two cylindrical electrodes at the end of the microwire without direct contact to its ferromagnetic core. In type I resonator the ferromagnetic core of the microwire and cylindrical electrodes act as an inductor and two capacitors respectively to form a LC circuit. The second type LC resonator (Type II) consists of a solenoidal micro-inductor with a bundle of soft magnetic microwires as a core. The solenoidal micro-inductors fabricated by MEMS technique were $500\sim1,000\;\mu{m}$ in length with $10\sim20$ turns. A capacitor is connected in parallel to the micro-inductor to form a LC circuit. A tiny glass coated $CO_{83.2}B_{3.3}Si_{5.9}Mn_{7.6}$ microwire was fabricated by a glass-coated melt spinning technique. A supergiant magneto-impedance effect was found in a type I resonator as much as 400,000% by precise tuning frequency at around 518.51 MHz. In type II resonator the changes of inductance as a function of external magnetic field in micro-inductors with properly annealed microwire cores were varied as much as 370%. The phase angle between current and voltage was also strongly dependent on the magnetic field. The drastic increments of magnetoimpedance at near the resonance frequency were observed in both types of LC resonators. Accordingly, the sudden change of the phase angle, as large as $180^{\circ}C$, evidenced the occurrence of the resonance at a given external magnetic field.
