Before and after Maum meditation, 108 teachers in the faculty training filled out the structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed by SPSS WIN 12.0. The results showed that there was a significant difference in self-esteem of the teachers between before and after Maum meditation(p=.001). The self-actualization of the teachers was also found to be significant before and after the meditation(p=.002). Maum meditation decreased the teachers' anxiety level and improved considerably the self-esteem and self-actualization level. So it is necessary to develop the self-concept questionnaire that can support the mental health promotion intervention program.

  • This study examined the effects of organizational conflicts, job stress, and emotional burn-out on the job satisfaction among the administrative staff working at national university hospitals. The 384 administrative staff from 10 national university hospitals were surveyed from July 10 to August 20, 2018, using structured self-administered questionnaires. As a result, the average score of job satisfaction was a significantly lower in the groups with higher scores of organizational conflicts (p<0.001), higher scores of job stress (p<0.001) and higher scores of emotional burn-out (p<0.001). Regarding the correlation of job satisfaction with organizational conflicts, job stress and emotional burn-out, the score of job satisfaction was negatively correlated with organizational conflicts, job stress and emotional burn-out. The above study results suggest that job satisfaction was significantly related to organizational conflicts, job stress, and emotional burn-out. In particular, job satisfaction was influenced more by organizational conflict than job stress and burn-out.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the predictors of death anxiety among community-dwelling elderly cancer survivors in Korea. This study was a descriptive correlation study with 216 elderly cancer survivors who live in the jurisdiction of community health centers in Chugbuk province. Data of this study were collected from February 27 to March 15 2019 by a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression. In the results, the mean score of death anxiety was 2.47±0.39 out of 4.0, while that of ego integrity was 2.60±0.29, depression 6.35±4.0, and awareness of a good death 2.97±0.35. Based on the hierarchical multiple regression analysis, subjects' awareness of a good death had the greatest impact on death anxiety (β = 0.255, p < .001), followed by depression (β = 0.185, p = .020) and religion (no= 1; β= 0.148, p = .021). These factors explained 16.4% of death anxiety (F=8.04, p<.001). Therefore, the results of this study are expected to be utilized as basic data for developing an intervention program that will be designed to reduce the death anxiety in elderly cancer survivors.

  • Using a structural model, this study aims to verify the association between job stress, burnout, and self-efficacy levels of health teachers responsible for school health. Structured questionnaires were administered to 814 health teachers, and validated through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The study results show that job stress of the health teacher was 2.9±0.64 and burnout was 2.6±0.52, which was slightly lower than the median of the Likert 5-point scale, while self-efficacy was 4.1±0.51. Various sub-factors contributed to the scores: 'student and family' and 'peer teacher's perception' were high for job stress, while 'work in charge' was high for burnout. Job stress of health teachers resulted in increased burnout and decreased self-efficacy. Furthermore, increased burnout significantly decreased self-efficacy. Hence, job stress affected burnout, and burnout affected self-efficacy. Our data clearly demonstrates that job stress is very important to reduce burnout of health teachers and increase their self-efficacy. Therefore, various efforts are required to lower job stress. This study will help to establish new policies and practical improvement plans to reduce job stress and exhaustion of health teachers, and consequently increase their self-efficacy.

  • This study examined the level of an emotional labour, depressive symptoms, and presenteeism of counselors working in a call center depending on socio-demographic characteristics, health-related factors, and job-related factors. Especially, the main purpose of a survey was to investigate the relevance to an emotional labour, the level of depressive symptoms and presenteeism. The research subjects were 304 counselors working at two call centers in Daejeon, and the survey was conducted from April 1, 2014 to May 31, 2014, using a structured self-administered questionnaire. As a result, the emotional labour, depressive symptoms and presenteeism experienced by the research subjects had a deep relation to many variables like socio-demographic characteristics, health-related factors and job-related factors. Especially, presenteeism showed a meaningful positive correlation with depressive symptoms and emotional labour factors. According to the result of a hierarchical multiple regression analysis, the meaningful variables related to presenteeism were age, the amount of a physical burden, the level of depressive symptoms, the surface action of an emotional labour. Therefore, to lower down the counselors' presenteeism, the development and implement of a mental healthcare program to control not only depressive symptoms and the level of an emotional labour is urgently needed.

  • This study attempted to examine the job stress and turnover intentions of physical therapists and to investigate the relationship between these two factors. A total of 309 physical therapists currently working in Gyeonggi-do and Incheon in South Korea were selected as research subjects. The data were collected by a survey using self-administered questionnaires structured from June 10 to June 25, 2015. According to the study results, job stress was highest in job autonomy and lowest in relationship conflict, while the turnover intention score was $2.80{\pm}0.70$. The physical therapists showed higher job stress and turnover intention level with increasing age and working experience, showing a significant positive correlation(p<.05). The turnover intention showed a significant positive correlation with all of the job stress factors. Decreased work motivation showed a significant positive correlation with all of the job stress factors except for job instability(p<.05). In addition, among the factors for the job stress, Job autonomy, Structure and organization, Inappropriate compensation, and Workplace culture turned out to be those affecting their turnover intention. This study confirmed that an increase of job stress among physical therapists can be a risk factor of higher turnover intention, implying a necessity to try to reduce their job stress and turnover intention.

The reason for such situation is the management environments in medical service market is changing rapidly one hand, and on the other hand the competitions among the Hospitals became more severe. In this paper we try to present the factors and weights as index for the measurement of Hospital CRM's System Performance. To achieve this goal, we derived the primary factors for the success of the CRM Systems based on the precedent researches, and futhermore carry out the verification of the rightness of those factors. For the verification of the rightness of the factors, we employ the Structured-Model-Analysis Method of AMOS. This enhance the meaning of the analysis result of the factors. And we use the AHP method to compare the importance grade of each success factors, because the comparison of importance level of each success factor is very crucial for the measurement of the Hospital CRM's system performance. As a result, we derived the primary factors and analyzed the weights in this paper, which might be used as the guiding Index for the measurement of the Hospital CRM' System Performance.
