신생아집중치료실 간호수가 산정을 위한 간호행위별 상대가치 산정 (Resource-Based Relative Value for Estimation of Nursing Behavior in Neonatal Intensive Care Units)

  • Purpose: This study was done to define nursing behavior in neonatal intensive care units so as to estimate resource-based relative value-. Method: Participating in this study were 292 nurses in neonatal intensive care units. The study surveyed physical and mental labor, stress and time involved in nursing work. Tool used in this study was a nursing labor per relative value tool. For analyzes, the relative value of each nursing behavior was calculated, where the mean value of the three components, labor intensity and component-by-component explanatory power were in percentage terms. Results: 1. Nursing behaviors in neonatal intensive care unit were classified and defined at three levels: 5 main domains, 17 mid-domains, and 42 small domains. 2. The per component explanatory power of intensity involved in nursing labor showed physical effort to be 32.45%, mental 32.86%, and stress 34.69%. 3. The reliability of nursing labor factors was very strong, Cronbach's alpha value of 0.96. Conclusion: In this research, which is a first in defining nursing behavior in neonatal intensive care units, individual nursing behavior were broken down using resource-based relative value for nursing cost, and each nursing behavior was successfully translated to a numerical value.

  • Flow field in a roller conveyor system, induced from the movement of a cassette in which glasses for flat panel display are loaded, is numerically studied in this paper. Contamination on the glass surface by dust particles produced from mechanical friction between roller and cassette is predicted from the analysis results of flow fields. Results show that a large swirl flow is formed under the moving cassette with constant speed. This swirl flow is confined only under the cassette because two main streams from the backward and the fan filter unit on the top ceiling are sufficiently strong. Therefore, it can be said that possibility of the contamination by the particles originated from the friction is relatively low. It is also revealed that flow direction between glass plates is changed according to the speed of the cassette movement due to the shear force of glass plates.

닥나무 열매(楮實子)에서 추출한 단백질 분해효소의 특성에 관한 연구 (The properties of Proteolytic Enzymes from the Fruit of Broussonetia Kazinoki Siebold)

  • 우리나라 전역의 산간지방에서 야생 또는 재배되는 닥나무의 열매는 옛날 가정에서 질긴 쇠고기를 조리할 때 사용하였다고 하므로 본 연구에서는 닥나무 열매를 육류조리에 이용하였을 때의 연화효과를 보고자하여 1차적으로 닥나무열매에서 추출한 단백질 분해효소의 활성도를 측정하였다. 시료의 효소를 조제하였을 때 시료추출물 100ml중의 회수된 조효소 분말량은 1.01g으로 회수율 6.2%를 나타내었고 단백질 분해효소 활성은 1.6 unit의 활성을 나타냈으며 닥나무 열매추출물의 단백질함량은 건물량으로 9.6%였다. 또한 효소의 기질에 대한 특이성은 casein 100에 egg white 50, hemoglobin 79, collagen 53, gelatin 42의 비율로 가수분해 하는 것으로 나타나 육류에 함유된 단백질인 hemoglobin과 collagen에 대한 효소의 가수분해율이 높은 것으로 나타났따. 효소의 최적온도는 $60^{\circ}C$로 관찰되었으며 열에 비교적 안정하였다. 효소의 최적 pH는 70이었으며, 전반적으로 넓은 pH영역에서 활성이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

젓갈류로부터 혈전용해 균주의 분리 및 동정 (Screening and Identification of the Fibrinolytic Bacterial Strain from Jeot-Gal, Salt-fermented Fish)

  • 우리나라 각지에서 젓갈류를 수집하여 혈전용해능을 나타내는 균주들을 분리하였다. 분리된 균주들의 활성을 측정한 결과 2.04 plasmin unit의 가장 우수한 혈전용해활성을 나타내는 균주를 선별하여 동정하였다. 균주의 형태학적, 배양학적 및 생화학적 성질을 조사한 결과 Bacillus pumilus로 나타났으나, 균체의 지방산조성을 분석하여 동정한 결과 Bacillus atropheus로 나타났다. 최종적 결론을 얻기 위해, 16S rRNA partial sequence(V3 region)를 결정하여 분석한 결과 Bacillus subtilis의 16S rRNA partial sequence와 동일한 것으로 나타나, Bacillus subtilis KJ-48로 명명하였다.

Humidifier Disinfectant-Associated Lung Injury: Six Years after the Tragic Event

  • In 2011, a cluster of peripartum patients were admitted to the intensive care unit of a tertiary hospital in Seoul with signs and symptoms of severe respiratory distress of unknown etiology. Subsequent epidemiological and animal studies suggested that humidifier disinfectant (HD) might represent the source of this pathology. Epidemiological studies, animal studies, and dose-response analysis demonstrated a strong association between HD use and lung injuries. The diagnostic criteria for HD-associated lung injury (HDALI) was defined on the basis of the clinical, pathological, and radiological attributes of the patients. The clinical spectrum of HDALI appears to range from asymptomatic to full-blown acute respiratory failure, and some patients have required actual lung transplantation for survival. The overall mortality of the exposed population was not significant, although peripartum patients and children who were admitted to the intensive care unit did show high mortality rates. Persistent clinical findings such as diffuse ill-defined centrilobular nodules and restrictive lung dysfunction were observed in some of the survivors. The findings of this review emphasize the importance of assessment of the level of toxicity of chemical inhalants utilized in a home setting, as well as the need to identify and monitor afflicted individuals after inhalational injury.

이중 스테이지를 이용한 대면적 3차원 광/유체 마이크로 디바이스 제작에 관한 연구 (Fabrication of Three-Dimensional Micro Optical and Fluidic System Using Dual Stage Nanostereolithography Process)

  • The nanostereolithography process using a femtosecond laser has been shown to have strong merits for the direct fabrication of 2D/3D micro structures. In addition, a femtosecond laser provides efficient tools for precise micromachining owing to the advantages of a small and feeble heat effect zone. In this paper, we report an effective fabrication process of 3D micro optical and fluidic devices using nanostereolithography process composed of a dual stage system. Process conditions for additive and subtractive fabrication are examined. The Piezo stage scanning system is used for 3D micro-fabrication in unit area of sub-mm scale, and the motor stage is employed in fabrication on the scale of several mm. The misalignment between the pizeo- and motor- stages is revised through rotational transformation of CAD data in the unit domain. Here, the effectiveness of the proposed process is demonstrated through examples using 3D optical and microfluidic structures.

Studies on the Fibrinolytic Effect of Germinated Grain Seeds

  • In this study, seven grain seeds(sorghum maize, buckwheat, soy bean, mung bean, red bean, and barngrass) and germinated seven grain seeds were examined the fibrinolytic activity through fibrin plate assay and SDS-PAGE. The results obtained were as follows : 1. In the fibrin plate assay, the extracts of maize, barngrass, sorghum and buckwheat showed fibrinolytic activity. Especially, Maize of them showed fibrinolytic activity that was almost similar to plasmin, fibrinolytic enzyme used as a positive control. 2. In the SDS-PAGE of seven grain seeds, fibrinolytic activity was remarkably shown in mung bean and red bean. 3. In the fibrin plate assay of germinated grain seeds, buckwheat(5 mm), buckwheat(10 mm) and soy bean(10 mm) showed a level of fibrinolytic activity that was about 0.3 fold than 1.0 unit of plasmin, Also maize(10 mm) of them showed a level of fibrinolytic activity that was about 0.5 fold than 1.0 unit of plasmin. As a result, maize of grain seeds was found that it has a strong fibrinolytic activity.

도파관 내에서 공간적으로 결합된 V-Band MMIC 결합 발진기 Array (Spatially Combined V-Band MMIC Coupled Oscillator Array in Waveguide)

  • 본 논문은 V-band에서 동작하는 MMIC 결합 발진기 array에 관한 것이다. 제안된 발진기 array의 unit cell들은 한 개의 microstrip patch 안테나와 두개의 발진기가 결합된 push-pull 능동 안테나 구조로 되어 있다. 전체 발진기 array의 주파수 동기화는 각 unit cell의 microstrip patch 안테나 사이의 강한 전자기적 결합을 통해 이루어진다. 이로 인해 전체 array를 하나의 MMIC로 구현할 수 있었다. 제안된 구조로 설계된 2종의 V-band 1$\times$2 결합 발진기 array가 0.15 um pHEMT MMIC 표준 공정을 이용해 제작되었다. 제작된 MMIC 칩은 도파관을 이용한 전력 결합 module로 구현되었다. 모듈 측정 결과, 첫 번째 array는 56.372 GHz에서 0.5 dBm의 출력을 나타내었고 다른 하나는 60.147 GHz에서 5.85 dBm의 출력을 나타내었다.

  • The unified power quality conditioner (UPQC) is an effective custom power device that is used at the point of common coupling to protect loads from voltage and current-related PQ issues. Currently, most researchers have studied series unit and parallel unit models and an idealized transformer model. However, the interactions of the series and parallel converters in AC-link are difficult to analyze. This study utilizes an equivalent transformer model to accomplish an electric connection of series and parallel converters in the AC-link and to establishes a precise unified mathematical model of the UPQC. The strong coupling interactions of series and parallel units are analyzed, and they show a remarkable dependence on the excitation impedance of transformers. Afterward, a feed-forward decoupling method based on a unified model that contains the uncertainty components of the load impedance is applied. Thus, this study presents an adaptive method to estimate load impedance. Furthermore, simulation and experimental results verify the accuracy of the proposed modeling and decoupling algorithm.

  • Oil refineries' Fluid Catalytic Cracking Units (FCCU) when in full operation may exhibit strong fluid dynamics caused by turbulent flow in the piping system that may induce vibrations in other mechanical and structural components of the Unity. This paper reports on the experimental-theoretical-computational program performed to get the vibration properties and the dynamic response amplitudes to find out alternative solutions to attenuate the excessive vibrations that were causing fatigue fractures in components of the bottle like reactor-regenerator of an FCC unit in operation in an existing oil refinery in Brazil. Solutions to the vibration problem were sought with the aid of a 3D finite element model calibrated with the results obtained from experimental measurements. A short description of the found solutions is given and their effectiveness are shown by means of numerical results. The solutions were guided by the concepts of structural stiffening and dynamic control performed by a nonlinear pendulum controller whose mechanical design was based on parameters determined by means of a parametric study carried out with 2D and 3D mathematical models of the coupled pendulum-structure system. The effectiveness of the proposed solutions is evaluated in terms of the fatigue life of critical welded connections.
