A strong Banach-Mackey property is established for ${\kappa}$-spaces including all complete and some non-complete metric linear spaces and some non-metrizable locally convex spaces. As applications of this result, a strong uniform boundedness result and a new Banach-Steinhaus type theorem are obtained.

Let n be the spatial dimension. For d, $0<d{\leq}n$, let $H^d$ be the d-dimensional Hausdorff content. The purpose of this paper is to prove the boundedness of the dyadic strong maximal operator on the Choquet space $L^p(H^d,{\mathbb{R}}^n)$ for min(1, d) < p. We also show that our result is sharp.

Let X be a locally convex space. A series of clearcut characterizations for the boundedness of vector measure $\mu{\;}:{\;}\sum\rightarrow{\;}X$ is obtained, e.g., ${\mu}$ is bounded if and only if ${\mu}(A_j){\;}\rightarrow{\;}0$ weakly for every disjoint $\{A_j\}{\;}\subseteq{\;}\sum$ and if and only if $\{\frac{1}{j^j}{\mu}(A_j)\}^{\infty}_{j=1}$ is bounded for every disjoint $\{A_j\}{\;}\subseteq{\;}\sum$.

This study explores the following research question to address issues linked to emotions, identity, and institutions: how has the cult (institution) of the three Kims affected North Koreans' strong sense of nationalism (emotion), which is based on their Juche ideology (identity)? This paper investigates four fundamental elements of historical institutionalism: time boundedness, path dependency, institutional changes, and the shadow of the past. First, time boundedness illustrates how culture and education have been used to build trust and loyalty in the general public to construct individual and family cults. Second, path dependence reveals how the Songbun system has resulted in strong nationalism throughout Rodongdang's institutionalization. Third, institutional changes highlight the significance of age divides, as different age groups do not always support the three Kims' cult. Finally, the shadow of the past helps us understand the primary processes for generating mass ardent nationalism in the form of powerful impulses for self-sacrifice.

We show an exponential inequality for negatively associated and strictly stationary random variables replacing an uniform boundedness assumption by the existence of Laplace transforms. To obtain this result we use a truncation technique together with a block decomposition of the sums. We also identify a convergence rate for the strong law of large number.

In the present article we consider multiparameter maximal averages and discover the crucial roles played by the number of parameters in their boundedness properties. The problem we shall deal with is initiated by Rubio de Francia [8] and will be in the spirit of an inductive extension to multiparameter cases, in which tools of our study rely on the theory of Harmonic Analysis on product spaces. Suppose that $d_\mu$ is a complex Borel measure supported on a compact subset S of $R^N$ having total mass one, $\smallint_S d_\mu = 1$.

There exist many deterministic models for signaling pathways in systems biology. However the models do not consider the stochastic properties of the pathways, which means the models fit well with experimental data in certain situations but poorly in others. Incorporating stochasticity into deterministic models is one way to handle this problem. In this paper the way is used to produce stochastic models based on the deterministic differential equations for the published extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) pathway. We consider strong convergence and stability of the numerical approximations for the stochastic models.
