도로경관의 구성요소 제어를 통한 광역도로 경관형성에 관한 연구 - 부산시 광역도로사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Plan for Wide Road's Streetscape by Simulation of Streetscape's Components - As a Sample Wide Area Road in Busan -)

  • 도시가로는 이동을 위한 공간의 기능주의적인 일률적 시설배치를 벗고 쾌적하고 친숙한 문화공간의 역할을 담당할 수 있는 공간으로 바뀔 수 있게 되었다. 또한 도시경관을 구성하는 요소 중 가로경관을 대상으로 그 중에서도 광역도로의 가로경관을 구성하는 다양한 요소들을 분석 및 도출하여 문제점 및 개선방안을 파악하여 쾌적하고 편리한 동시에 지역의 정체성을 나타내는 가로경관을 갖는 광역도로가 될 수 있는 방안을 마련하는 것은 가로경관 형성에 큰 의미가 있다고 판단한다. 따라서 본 연구는 먼저, 가로경관의 이론적 고찰과 광역도로의 입지적 특성 등을 고려하여 광역도로 가로경관의 구성요소를 도출하여 이들을 제어하여 시뮬레이션을 작성하였다. 이를 토대로 시행한 평가를 통해 진입부는 친숙한 가로경관의 구성인자, 진입관문으로서 symbol적인 가로경관의 구성인자, 연속적이고 동적인 가로경관의 구성인자, 재미있고 즐거운 가로경관의 구성인자로 4가지의 구성인자가 광역도로의 진입부 가로경관을 대표할 수 있음을 확인하였고 중간부에서는 친근한 가로경관의 구성인자, 안정적이고 부드러운 가로경관의 구성인자, 즐겁고 동적인 가로경관의 구성인자, 상징적인 가로경관의 구성인자로 4가지의 구성인자가 광역도로의 중간부 가로경관을 대표할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

주민참여 도구로써 가로경관 디자인 가이드라인 구성 연구 (A Study on The Structure and Contents of Streetscape Design Guideline as a Tool of Residents' Participation)

  • In order to create humanitarian living environment with sustainable ecological environment, urban regeneration project has been implemented recently seeking diverse methods for residents'participation stressing the process of communication with the residents changing from the existing one way planning by limited number of experts. Particularly, it is essential to develop systematic tools to promote the voluntary and positive participation of the residents because residents have to perform as the master of urban streetscape design project that requires sophisticated knowledge and experience and also because the residents have to function as sustainable maintainers and managers of their streetscape. This study intends to identify the organizational structure and major contents of design guideline as a tool to support the voluntary and positive participation of the residents in streetscape maintenance. For this purpose based on the structural system and characteristics of Chicago streetscape design guideline that was developed as tool for residents' participation, efforts were made to set up framework of design guideline for sustainable streetscape project with the users' participation with their overall understanding and trust. In detail, the author studied the resident participatory process for sustainable maintenance and management in a long term landscape project and the principle and theories of design planning for streetscape that supports the utilizing behaviors of the users, and how this information should be linked and organized to form the structure and contents of design guideline. As a tool supporting residents' participation and helping the residents perform the responsible function as sustainable maintainers and managers of their streetscape through social maturity with ontological sense of masters of their local community as they experience the gradual processes of their streetscape maintenance project, streetscape design guideline has its meaning in the efforts that tried to achieve deep participation of the residents through researches converging the two academic sectors of urban architecture and social psychology.

가로경관의 정량적 분석틀 제공을 위한 입면지도 적용에 관한 연구 - GIS 활용을 중심으로 - (A Study on Elevation Map Application for Offering Quantitative Analytic Frame of Streetscape - Focused on use GIS -)

  • This study is about offering quantitatively analytic frame of streetscape, and also about making a way to be standardized and adapt changing landscape. This allows us to manage a form of elevation map after the application to GIS. The form of elevation map is a visible and vertical arrangement method of data recognizable while walking or driving. Applying measurable traits enables us to make a quantitative control over each element of which streetscape consists. After all, it would play a great roll in organizing and maintaining fine streetscape of each city. As the basic ways to make the elevation map, this study proposes the methods of providing quantitative analytic frame of streetscape after applying elevation data, Raster Data and Vector Data, which were investigated on the basis of GIS. In addition, as a simulation for increasing reality, certain streets, where the streetscape is very important, were chosen so that they enable us to utilize quantitatively analytic data of streetscape with analyzing the +degree of opening ratio in the boundary of D/H=2, comparing between wall area and windowpane area, comparing between facade area and sign board area, and calculating both area and ratio which are applied to ecospace.

경관 시뮬레이션을 통한 가로 녹시율 증진방안 및 목표수준 설정 - 서울시를 사례로 - (The Methods of Promoting Greenness and the Target Levels of Greenness in Streetscape Suggested by Computer Simulation - The Case of Seoul -)

  • The purpose of this research is to suggest the planting methods and the reasonable target levels of IGS for promoting green streetscape in Seoul. Using the three dimensional computer simulations, various greening methods were applied to evaluate effectiveness of promoting green streetscape. The results of this study suggest that promoting tree planting on car lane is more effective than on pedestrian side walks. In wide streets, the height of tree has positive effects on promoting green streetscape. In both car lane and pedestrian side walks, the greening effects of tree planting both in zig-zag pattern and in parallel pattern were similarly most high. The width of strip in side strip planting has positive effect on promoting green streetscape. Promoting stratified planting is very effective. Promoting greening wall on pedestrian side walks is more effective than on car lane. Combined the results of IGS survey with the public officials and complex simulations, suggest that the optimal levels of IGS is ranging from 12.0% in alleys to 54.0% in car lanes among arterial roads.

중소도시 가로경관의 건축적 특성과 만족도분석 연구 -포항시 중앙상가로변을 중심으로- (A Study on the Architectural Characteristics and Satisfaction Analysis of Street-scape in a Small and Medium City -Focused on the Street of Central Market, Pohang City-)

  • This study aims for proposing improvement method for streetscape in a small and medium city of Korea. According to this purpose, in chapter 2, by inspecting conservation of street environment and streetscape, deduce the frame for analyzing streetscape in commercial district. In chapter 3, analyzing present condition and problems of selected streets in Pohang City, derive the primary factors to induce desirable streetscape through problems and their reason between the analyzed elements of building form. Analyzed elements are composed of floor elements, wall elements, ceiling elements. The detailed elements are pavement of road, street furniture, height of buildings, color and material of building and outdoor advertisements. In chapter 4, by conducting a questionnaire survey of pedestrians about street images -choosing impressive physical elements and the feeling of the street by the list of adjective of semantic differential scale- and the preference, propose the direction of improvement about streetscape in commercial district.

고층집합주택 외벽 색채가 가로경관에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -광주광역시 고층정합주택단지를 중심으로- (A Study on the Color of Apartment Building Outer Wall Effecting in Streetscape -Focused on Highrize Housing Complex in Gwangju-)

  • This study examined the effect of the main color of apartment building as background color on the preference for residential streetscape in the relation with surrounding environment of streetscape with its focus on the color of apartment building outer wall. To research a visual evaluation structure, this study aimed to understand its characteristics through quantitative assay and to provide more scientific and specific data about improvement direction. The results suggested that the current brightness and chroma of main color of apartment building was high and low respectively which was advisable. On the other hand, in the color, when the components of the whole streetscape included buildings or soundproofing walls, a streetscape image needed to be improved though the color scheme of 4-distance color difference.

  • This study conducted an evaluation of the streetscape improvement project of the Gwangbok Street through analysis of visual and perceptual characteristics by comparing selected pictures of streetscape before and after the project. This work has conducted an analysis of the environmental factors which influence subjects' satisfaction degrees including physical street equipments and street view factors which are main contents of this project. Using a satisfaction analysis and factor analysis, each factor's significance was verified quantitatively. As a result of the analysis, physical components of the streetscape were classified into 4 types according to project's effectiveness and improvement priorities. These 4 types include (1) Components for maintenance because of higher satisfaction and higher importance, (2) Components for improvement because of lower satisfaction and higher importance, (3) Components for good business fruits because of higher satisfaction and lower importance, and (4) Components for unnecessity because of lower satisfaction and lower importance.

경관 가이드라인 설정을 위한 가로변 건축물 외관디자인의 물리적 복합성 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Measurement Model of the Physical Complexity of Facade Design of Building on Street)

  • As important elements consisting of city streetscape, facade design on building is generally very significant. But without active acceptance and understanding of the concept that the building has a private objective as personal property, it is not easy to take an involvement into design as well as to establish reasonable and scientific standards of harmony. Therefore, for desirable streetscape planning, it is indispensable to know how to closely examine the visual harmony of already established buildings in each street and how to get the solutions for its realization. In this respect, this study is to try to examine and verify the feasibility of our present streetscape situation by experimental application of acceptable Y. Elesheshtawy's model(1997), an interpretation of quantitative index of street buildings by Gestalt theory, for the preparation of the foundation of institute and standards of building design which has social value in contributing to visual and spacious harmony in our street space without giving any damage to private property. From the result, I can assure the validity that the physical complexity, whose schema is socially and culturally different from our reality, is applicable to our actual streetscape in some extent.

서울북촌 가로경관의 시각적 이미지 특성에 관한 연구 - 삼청동 35번지, 가회동 31, 11번지를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Image Characteristics of Visual Perception in Bukchon-streetscape - Focusing on the Samchung-dong 35, Gahoe-dong 31, Gahoe-dong 11 -)

  • 본 연구는 북촌의 가로 중에서도 특히 한옥밀집지역인 가회동을 중심으로 가로경관에 대한 이론적 고찰과 북촌 가로경관의 대한 시각적 특성에 따른 선호도의 상관관계를 밝히고자 하였다. 이에 북촌의 가장 대표적인 경관 삼청동 35번지, 가회동 31번지, 11번지를 대상으로 가로경관의 시각량과 선호도의 관계를 기술분석하였다. 또한 요인분석을 통하여 북촌가로경관의 이미지 특성의 공통요인을 추출하였고, 회귀분석을 실시하여 이미지평가와 선호도간의 관계를 파악하였다. 이에 따른 연구결과로는 첫째, 시각량과 선호도 관계에서 가회동 31번지의 가로경관이 가장 선호도가 높게 나타났으며, 북촌가로경관의 천장면과 식재의 시각량이 높을수록 높은 선호를 보이고 있었다. 둘째, 심리적인 측면에서는 북촌의 가로경관은 '심미성', '쾌적성', '정연성'의 특성으로 설명되었으며, 가장 선호가 높게 나온 가회동 31번지와 낮게 나온 삼청동 35번지는 '심미성' 항목에서 많은 차이를 나타내고 있었다. 셋째, 심리변수 요인에 대한 요인점수와 선호도에 대해 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, '심미성'을 설명하는 인자가 선호도에 가장 많은 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 전체 경관과 조화를 이루어 지역적인 특성을 잘 살린 이용자가 만족할 수 있는 북촌의 가로 정비 방안이 체계적으로 발전되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

공유수면 매립지 내 가로경관 개선 방안 및 평가에 관한 연구 (해운대 머린시티를 대상으로) (A Study on the Improvement of Streetscape in Landfill of Public Water Surface and Its Evaluation (Focusing of Marine City in Haeundae))

  • 본 연구에서는 공유수면 매립지에 조성되는 공동주택단지를 대상으로 현재 조성된 가로경관의 현황을 분석, 문제점을 도출하여 가로경관의 구성요소에 의하여 제어된 시뮬레이션과 인자분석을 통하여 보다 개선되고 변화된 가로경관 계획을 모색코자 하였다. 분석 대상은 부산광역시 해운대 마린시티를 대상으로 한다. 현재의 마린시티 가로경관을 분석한 결과 주요 문제점은 해안변이라는 특성을 반영하지 못하는 비연속적인 가로 공간 구성, 해안도로변 보 차 혼용도로로 인한 통행의 불편함과 안전상의 문제, 보행자를 위한 스트리트 퍼니처 요소 부족, 그리고 무질서한 옥외광고물 사용으로 나타났다. 따라서, 마린시티 가로경관의 문제 원인을 가로구성요소의 부족과 부조화, 비연속성 등에 두고 선별된 가로구성요소들을 적용시킨 시뮬레이션과 요인분석 및 평가를 통하여 공통적인 의미를 가진 주요 인자를 추출하여 보았다. 가로경관 요인분석 및 평가 결과 "스트리트 퍼니처", "주변과 조화로운 가로경관", "자연적 개방감을 지닌 가로경관", "동적인 심볼성을 지닌 가로경관" 요인 순으로 추출되었다. 향후 가로경관 계획 시 스트리트 퍼니처의 적절한 배치 계획과 주변과 조화를 이루면서 개방적, 연속성을 가진 심볼성 가로경관 계획에 더 중점을 두어 마린시티만의 정체성에 더욱 적합한 변화된 가로경관 계획수립이 진행되어야 할 것이다.
