It is well known that Korean traditional Hanji have lots of predominant physical and optical properties such as high density, high air permeability, long lasting quality and lightness. The paper-making raw materials of traditional Korean Hanji are the bast fibre cooked from the Korean paper mulberry as a fibrous materials and sticky aqueous material from the root of Hibiscus anihot L. as additives for good dispersion of stock. Additionally, the mechanical properties of Hanji varies according to the cooking methods of bast tissues of Korean paper mulberry, the treatment methods of fibrous raw materials such as bleaching and refining, the wet formation types of sheet-making such as 'Oebal-chiji' and 'Ssangbal-choji', and the finishing treatment like stamping. This study was carried out to investigate and evaluate the quality properties of Korean traditional hand-made Hanji, and compared with commercial machine-made paper and modified prepared sheets. The physical quality comparisons of different kinds of Hanji were focused on the methods of hand-sheet making, the types of raw materials, the treatment of stamping, and the properties of ink reception and spreading.
The present paper deals with the seasonal changes in abundance and composition of diatoms in the Suyung Bay, Pusan, Korea. This study was carried out from August 1966 through July 1967 As a result of the present study, 123 species of diatoms were Identified. While the highest number of diatoms (2,554,000 cells per liter) was recorded in April of 1967, the lowest number (20,400 cells per liter) appeared in December of 1966. In genera the standing stock of diatoms was high in spring and early fall and was low in late fall and winter. Two genera of the diatoms, Chaetoceros and Skeletonema, occupied a great portion of the diatom population throughout the course of this study. The following genera also appeared abundantly: Asterionella, Eucompia, Leptocylindrus and Nitzschia.

Track circuit is a simple electrical device which lies in the connection of the two rails by the wheels and axle of locomotives and rolling stock to short out an electrical circuit, used to detect the absence of a train on rail tracks. In railway signaling system, there are similar systems such as RFID and wheel sensor, GPS etc, are research and developing. Hybrid track circuit is using RFID antenna and reader on the cab and RFID tag on the sleeper. because of the safety in railway operation, tag detection of train position detection function in the hybrid track circuit needs high reliability. This paper studied tag recognition enhancement used tag angles.

The aim of this study is to relieve the poor ventilation problem of the diesel locomotive engine load test building, located in an urban area. This paper evaluates the ventilation performances of the studied load test building based on the temperature measurement experiment and the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) during the engine load test. The temperature rise caused by the radiator blower of the building was turned out to be the main cause of disturbing the thermal conditions of the building. The indoor temperature distributions simulated by Fluent were validated with the temperature measurement results obtained from the studied building. The simulation results indicated that the comfort condition of this building was poor We suggested several remedial changes in the duct structure of this building for the improvement of the comfort conditions. In addition, a prototype drawing combining several improved design options was proposed. and then the simulation of the temperature distribution in the proposed prototype was performed. The result indicated that the indoor thermal condition of this proposed building was improved when compared with that of the current building.

The main objective of this research is to develop the optimal control method for a Distribution Center - multi Branch inventory distribution system. With the continuous review policy, the distribution center places an order for specific order quantity to an outside supplier, and the order quantity is replenished after a certain lead time. Also, each branch places an order for particular order quantity to the distribution center to satisfy the customer demands, and receives the replenishment after a lead time. When an out of stock condition occurs during an order cycle, a backorder is placed to the upper level to fill the unfilled demands. With these situation, variable demand and variable lead time are used for better industrial practice. Futher, actual lead times with a generic lead time distribution are used in developing the control model. Under the actual lead time model, the customer service measures actually attained for the distribution center and each branch are explained as the effective customer service measures. Thus, throughout the optimal control (using computer search procedures), we can set the desired service levels for the distribution center and each branch to produce the effective service level for each branch which is consistent with the goal level of service for each branch. At the same time, the entire distribution system keeps minimum inventories.

This study has been carried out to analized of long term changes of water quality with regard to main pollutant sources in agricultural reservoirs on the basis of data during 1996-2001. The major source was domestic wastewater(DWW) and water pollution by non-point sources(NPS) is increasing as time goes. It was determined that Seasonly average values of DWW were pH $7.6{\sim}8.7$, COD $7.0{\sim}9.4$, T-N $0.74{\sim}2.07$, T-P $0.05{\sim}0.62$, Live-stock wastewater(LWW) were pH $7.5{\sim}8.9$, COD $5.5{\sim}9.8$, T-N $0.57{\sim}1.91$, T-P $0.04{\sim}0.13$, NPS were pH $7.1{\sim}8.3$, COD $3.1{\sim}5.2$, T-N $0.29{\sim}1.44$, T-P $0.02{\sim}0.07$. Fluctuation of DWW and LWW were very wide and variable long term patterns of them were similar. Trophic states by Carlson Index of DWW and LWW was classified as eutrophic to hypretrophic from chl-a, T-P concentration.

The correlation between the serotypes and sensitivity distribution of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was studied with stock strains of department, strains isolated from various clinical sources and strains of haspital environment of the past two years. Two hundred and fifty seven strains were typable and 38 strains were untypable out of 295 clinical sorces. Serotype B was most provalent(27.6%) followed by serotype G(24.9%), serotype E(23.3%) and serotype A(7.8%) among 257 typable strains. However, no serotype J,L and M were observed. Serotype B,G,E and A were isolated from pus, sputum, wound, burn site and urine. Serotypes E were most frequently isolated from nasal discharge and serotypes K were isolated from pus. There were no apparent differences in sensitivity distribution of streptomycin, carbenicillin and ampicillin between the clinical and The environmental origin. However, the strains of environmental origin were found to be relatively more susceptable to tetracycline, gentamicin and fradiomycin than the strains of clinical sources in high concentration. The strains of clinical sources of serotype B,G,E and A showed different resistant patterns to all antimicrobial agents except for carbenicillin. Serotype E showed the highest percentage resistance followed by serotype G,B and A.
MERCOSUR (Southern Cone Common Market, Latin American trade organization established in 1991, full members: Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay; associate members: Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela) is the world's third largest economic union. It is a vital region that Korean corporations should enter to preoccupy the Latin American market. Since China and Japan are recently moving strongly to advance into MERCOSUR, Korea needs to work out measures to cope with the situation. In trading with MERCOSUR, it is very important to establish a strategic base in the market from a long-term perspective rather than to approach the market only as an exporting market. From this viewpoint, Korea should regard MERCOSUR as a market with which it should cooperate in terms of resources, beyond a market from which it imports raw materials. Helped by its advancement strategies varying according to regional markets and price competitiveness, China is bolstering its market share in these regions. In addition, China has built production bases focused on electric and electronics products. It is also increasing its investments in MERCOSUR as a stable raw material-providing base. To make inroads into MERCOSUR successfully, therefore, Korean enterprises should not regard it as a market where it disposes of stock goods, but should instead export technologically competitive goods to this region. Likewise, Korean companies should expand their investments in automotive parts and machinery in MERCOSUR. Furthermore, Korea should closely study international trading policies of MERCOSUR to clear away any possible obstacles of exports to this region and to prepare countermeasures so as to avoid possible damage from import regulations of MERCOSUR.

The study aims to identify the factors affecting employee loyalty in the case of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Tra Vinh province, Viet Nam and to find out critical factors affecting the loyalty of employees in SMEs. This is implemented with the method of collecting primary data of 320 employees working at SMEs in 5 districts including: Cau Ngang, Tra Cu, Chau Thanh, Cang Long, Tieu Can) and Tra Vinh City, Viet Nam. Using the multivariate regression method, the researchers have found 6 factors affecting employee loyalty: colleagues, leaders, job characteristics, remuneration policies, organizational culture, and working environment. Particularly, learning opportunities may not be not statistically significant for employees' loyalty towards small and medium-sized enterprises in Tra Vinh province. From the above research results, the authors have proposed implicational piolicies such as: focusing on colleague relationships, improving leadership of business owners, attaching importance to appropriate work arrangement, having appropriate remuneration policies for laborers, building effective organizational culture and working environment to improve employee loyalty at SMEs. From the above policy implications, helping business owners realize the aspirations of workers in small and medium-sized enterprises more closely in the future, in order to sustainably develop the business system in Vietnam.
Purpose - The most important goal of corporate management is the maximization of firm value in the market. Executives of companies are making effort to increase corporate value and initiate various management strategies, which is to develop the products or service with value. Through these efforts, consumer satisfaction grows and loyalty increases, which leads to the positive change of customer satisfaction index. The purpose of this research is to find out the abnormal return after the KCSI(Korean Customer Satisfaction Index) is announced. Research design, data, and methodology - This research data is collected from 11 years' stock price in KOSPI market and KCSI. The authors analyze the abnormal return triggered by the announcement of KCSI through the event study. Results - First, newly enlisted companies in the KCSI show statistically significant short-term abnormal rate of return. Second, the value of the customer satisfaction index is not the level of customer satisfaction but the direction of the change in the CSI. Conclusion - Customer satisfaction has the important intangible asset in the marketing area. However, firms' investment for CS is not an easy decision, because of the difficulty to measure the effect on corporate market value. This research investigates the change of the market value after the announcement of KCSI. Based on the results, firms have to keep trying to increase KCSI relative to the previous year. And the small company has to struggle for being newly listed in the KCSI.
