에어백 공구 기반의 광학 연마 장치의 미세 힘 제어 구현 (Micro Polishing Force Control of the Polishing Machine with the Airbag Tool)

  • In this paper, the polishing force monitoring and the control method were implemented for the polishing machine with the airbag tool. Airbag tool has been known to be adaptable to the curvature variation such as the aspherical and the free-form surface. However, it was necessary to control the tool movement of vertical axis also because of the table rotational wobble and vibration. To solve it by the polishing force control, we installed another stepping motor to the z-axis. And the polishing force was measured with the load cell and controlled by the PID Labview controller. A few hundreds gram of the polishing force were well controlled under 0.8 second of the response time and 5% variation. An experiment was done to clean the edge burrs of the micro channel structure of width $87{\mu}m$ using the polishing force control.

  • In this paper, We applied the $\mu$-stepping method on the Phase Excitation Sequence of Hybrid type LPM. Linear Pulse Motor can opeate in an open loop control as an effective positioning actuator. PWM driver was used for low power loss and automatically adjusted voltage at rate current. Finally we find that through the position-velocity for timing Triangular and Trapezoidal Profile are very affected by velocity and acceleration parameter.

  • The feedback control systems of welding process using visual information can improve weld qualities. However, it is very difficult to get the visual information of weld pool since welding are is much stronger than light from weld pool. To explore the possibility of extending the capability of automatic welding machines a study of a closed loop controlled welding system consisted of a GTA welding machine, a vision system, a stepping motor system and a digital computer was undertaken. Particularly, in this system, a CCD camera with 850nm long pass filter was focused on the weld pool to give a weld pool image. Subsequently, image analysis technique has been developed to measure a weld pool width. Using this weld pool width measurement, a colsed loop control system adjusted welding speed to maintain constant weld pool width.

지향성 보청기 성능 검사 장치 개발 (Development of Directional Digital Hearing Aid Performance Testing System)

  • The most recent trend on digital hearing aid is to increase the ratio of signal to noise by directivity or to develop noise reduction algorithm inside DSP IC chip. This paper designed, fabricated and tested a digital hearing aid directivity testing device in which a micro-mouse-like the stepping motor with a speaker rotates around an examinant. Both ears of the examinant were fixed with ITE hearing aids in order to respond to receiving sound. The experimental results were compared with those of a boundary element method program for verification. The diameter of the directivity testing device was 2 m and the micro-mouse was precisely controlled by PICBASIC micro processor.

  • 기존에 제작된 칼날주사형 OTF 측정장치의 물체부와 상분석부를 개선하여 측정을 자동화함으로써 MTF 측정 정확도를 향상시켰다. 여러 가지 크기를 갖는 핀홀과 슬릿들을 물체로 사용하였고, fishtail edge를 상분석부의 수평방향에 45.deg로 부착시킴으로써 radial과 tangential 방향의 MTF를 동시에 측정할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 상분석부의 스텝핑 모터 구동장치와 측정 컴퓨터 프로그램을 개선하였고, SIRA 그룹의 50nm 표준렌즈를 사용하여 OTF 측정장치의 측정 정확도를 평가하였다.

멀티형 히트펌프 전자팽창밸브의 디더 신호를 적용한 과열도 제어 (EEV Superheat Control of a Multi-type Heat Pump by Using Dither Signal)

  • The electronic expansion valve (EEV) may be used to control the refrigerant flow rate for the multi-type heat pump. Stepping motor driven EEV may precisely control the refrigerant flow rate to meet each internal load requirement. To control the EEV, PI algorithm may be used. But the hysteresis of EEV deteriorates the performance of superheat control. To reduce the performance degradation, the PI algorithm along with the dither signal may be used. The dither signal, with about 10 times higher frequency than the system crossover frequency and about 10 times larger magnitude than the deadband of hysteresis, was selected for the superheat control of EEV. Experimental results showed the improvement of EEV control by adding the dither signal to the PI algorithm.

  • A switch is a component with two or more ports that selectively transmits, redirects, or blocks optical power in a fiber transmission line. Our switch uses rotation mechanism using stepping motor, hence the common optical fiber can scan and allign to one of the arrayed N optical fibers to provide optical path by electronic precise control. The developed switch is consisted of switching module and its control module. The performance parameters of a switching loss and a repeatability are considered very important. We performed the study to reduce the switching loss and improve the repeatability of switch. The switch can be widely used as a test instrument of optical device and of optical cable in factory, also of optical cable monitoring systems.

  • This paper presents an efficient analysis method using time-stepping finite element method for electric machines driven by pulse width modulation (PWM) inverter. In the method, the value of time-step is changed according to the PWM logic of inverter, and the calculation time can be reduced while maintaining analysis accuracy. Using the method, the dynamic characteristics of a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) driven by PWM inverter are analyzed.

  • Hybrid type LPM can be widely applied in the precise position controlled devic because precise linear motion can be directly obtained by the simple control circuit without backlash in the rotary-type stepping motor. Also, LPM can increase the Position resolution, which was limited by mechanical manufacturing limit and characteristic of magnetic material. using micro-step drive method to decrease the noise and vibration further. Especially, Double-side LPM may be replaced the solenoid as the valve driving device without difficulty and give full play to control the valve accurately. Hence, In this paper, magnetic circuit of double-side LPM was confirmed and static thrust force curve according to the relative displacement between stator and mover, was analyzed by the two dimensional finite element method. From this results, we can suppose the excitation current to be controlled optimally.

  • 다기능 휠체어 시스템의 제어부인 80C196KC를 사용했으나, fuzzy 알고리즘을 적용하는데 있어서 여러 가지 문제점(속도, 연산, 외부장치 등) 때문에 구현1차는데 상당한 어려움이 있었다. 이를 해결하기 위해 20MIPS의 속도인 TMS320F240의 프로세서를 사용하였으며 이로 인해 발생하는 문제점을 거의 해소시켰고, 퍼지 알고리즘을 효율적으로 적용할 수 있었다. 본 시스템의 구성은 주제어기로 퍼지 제어 알고리즘을 사용하여 조이스틱을 제어시켰고, 2개 encoder를 입력을 받아 휠체어 회전수를 이용하여 제어시켰다. 휠체어 모터로는 BLDC(Brushless DC) 모터를 사용했으면, BLDC전용 드라이브단을 이용하여 모터를 구현시켰다. 그리고 3개의 초음파 센서를 부착하여 장애물 회피를 시도하였다. 초음파센서의 효율적인 사용을 위해 스텝 모터(Stepping Motor)와 마이크로 컨트롤러로 PIC을 사용하였다. 본 논문의 실험 결과에서는 이전의 제어기(80C196KC)보다 현저히 성능 면에서 향상되었고, 부수적인 외부장치 처리면에서도 상당한 차이를 볼 수 있었다
