에너지함수법을 이용한 가용송전용량(ATC) 계산에 관한 연구 (A study on the ATC(Available Transfer Capabilily) calculation using an Energy Function Method)

  • 가용송전용량(ATC)은 계통내의 한 지역에서 다른 지역까지 실제 전력을 증가시키는 것이다. 지금까지 ATC 계산은 대부분 정상상태에서 실행가능성을 주로 고려하여 계산되어 왔다. 하지만 ATC 평가시 과도안정도로 제약된 ATC 계산은 매우 중요한 부분이다. ATC 평가시에는 제약조건으로 열적용량, 전압 및 과도안정도로 제약된 상정사고(n-1)시 안전도 평가가 요구된다. 본 논문은 자코비안 행렬의 고유치를 이용하여 상정사고 우선순위를 선정하였고, 에너지 함수법을 이용하여 선로의 열적용량, 전압안정도 및 과도안정도를 고려한 ATC를 계산하였다.

  • 직류전동기는 자속 및 토크 제어가 간단하고 정밀하여 가변속 구동장치로 많이 사용된다 그러나 정류자와 브러시의 접촉 및 마모부분이 있으므로 정기적인 보수, 점검이 필요하며, 정류자의 정류 한계상 고속화 및 고압화에 문제가 있고, 대용량화에도 한계가 있으며, 설치하는 환경에도 큰 제약이 따른다. 따라서 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위해 직류전동기를 BLDC 전동기로 대치하여 가변속 제어하는 방법의 연구가 오래 전부터 지속되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 PWM 인버터로 구동되는 BLDC 전동기의 수학적 모델을 전개하였고, 실험에 의한 파라미터 추정을 통하여 BLDC 전동기의 동특성 및 정상상태특성을 토크, 속도, 전압과 전류에 대하여 시뮬레이션 및 분석하였다.

  • Nowadays, most passenger cars equipped with automatic transmissions use torque converter clutches to reduce fuel consumption, and recently the slip control scheme of torque converter clutches is widely studied for the expansion of the operating region of torque converter clutches and thus for the further improvement of the fuel economy of vehicles. In this study, the analysis of the torque converter clutch system including the line pressure control unit of the automatic transmission and the actuating hydraulic control unit of the torque converter clutch is performed, and a feedforward controller and a fuzzy logic controller for its slip control are proposed. Also, for the slip controller to use the grade resistance information during control, an observer-based grade resistance estimator is designed. The performance of the designed grade resistance estimator and the slip controller is verified by dynamic simulations, and the effect of the torque converter clutch slip control on the fuel economy is examined using a driving cycle simulation.

  • 본고에서는 type B 독립구형 MRV 방식 LNG탱크의 극저온에 대한 구조안전성 평가기법을 연구 하였다. 여기에는 다음과 같은 3가지의 검토과정이 포함된다. 1) 탱크판을 관통하는 균열의 진전과정에서 누설되는 LNG의 양을 추정하고, 이에 따른 선체구조의 안전성을 보장하기 위하여 2차방벽의 설치범위를 결정한다. 2) 구형 LNG탱크시스템에 대한 정상상태 열전달해석 모형을 이용하여 화물창 및 스커트에 대한 온도분포해석을 수행하였다. 3) (2)항의 해석결과 가장 급격한 온도변화를 보이는 탱크와 스커트시스템의 연결부에 대한 열응력의 분포를 해석하였다.

NPE법을 이용한 절연재료의 유효열확산계수의 과도측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Transient Measurement of the Effective Thermal Diffusivity of Insulation Materials by NPE Method)

  • The objective of this study is to present an efficient measurement method of the effective thermal diffusivity for the fibrous insulation material. The non-linear parameter estimation (NPE) method is adapted for this analysis because of its accuracy and its results are compared with those by other direct methods such as CTP, CHP and STD method. A experimental system is constructed with bell-jar vaccum chamber, diffusion pump, tube type furnace, control unit and data acquisition system included with A/D converter and IBM XT/AT personal computer. The typical results obtained from this study are as follows; 1) NPE method can be recommended as an useful and accurate method to measure the effective thermal diffusivity of insuation material because it is shown that the measurement error compared with those by other direct methods is reduced for standard material, NBS-1450b. 2) NPE method can minimize the effects of ill-measured temperature due to external disturbance, because the final value is found by point to point estimating. 3) NPE method dose not depend on the kinds of heat flux, since the surfac temperature are used to estimate the thermal diffusivity. 4) With NPE method, compared with the steady state method, a measuring time and a sample size could be reduced.

  • This paper considers the age of air in a ventilated space with multiple supply inlets. The local mean age of air at a point from one supply inlet is different from those from the other supply inlets. It is the purpose of the present paper to investigate theoretically the relations between the LMA's from each supply and overall combined LMA whether or not to trace the origins of supply air. Transient concentration distributions are calculated with a step-up injection of tracer gas at each supply inlet, and at both inlets simultaneously. The steady state concentration with a continuous tracer injection at a supply inlet works as a weighting factor for the corresponding LMA in calculating the average overall LMA from multiple inlets.

  • Recently, multi cell tube which is used for a cooling system of automobiles is mainly manufactured by the conform extrusion but this method is inferior as compared with direct extrusion in productivity per the unit time and in the equipment investment. Therefore, it is essential for the conversion of direct extrusion with porthole die. The direct extrusion with porthole die can produce multi cell tube which has the competitive power in costs and qualities compared with the existing conform extrusion. This study is designed to evaluate metal flow, welding pressure, extrusion load, tendency of mandrel deflection that is affected by variation of porthole shape in porthole die. Estimation is carried out using finite element method under the non-steady state. Also this study was examined into the cause of mandrel fracture through investigating elastic deformation of mandrel during the extrusion.

교각전면부 하상재료의 입도분포에 따른 전단응력 산정에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Estimation of Shear Stresses at Pier-Front)

  • According to researchers, the influential factors of scouring are generally divided into three factors: the flow conditions, the type and position of structures, and the characteristics of bed materials. In addition, scouring is affected by the 3-dimensional turbulent boundaries, the unsteady flow, the movement of sediment in the scour-hole area, the approach flow velocity and depth, the width of bridge foundation/pier, and the particle size of bed materials. However, it is difficult to estimate the scour depth near bridge piers when all conditions are factored in at once. Therefore, for reasonably accurate estimates of scour depth, it is essential to consider sufficiently the flow force and resisting force for scour. That is, to determine the shear stress concerning the bed material distribution is needed. In this study, the experiments were performed under the condition of a steady state of flow. As a result, scouring occurred at velocity ratios of 0.476,$(V/V_c=0.476)$, and the scour depth was increased linearly as the velocity ratio increased. in addition, the average values of shear stress ratio at zero scouring depth in both rectangular and circular piers were approximately 7$(\tau_c/\tau_{approach})$ and in the case for same size bed particle material. The results of this study can be used for the fundamental material for estimating the scour depth of bed materials.

기능적 전기자극에 의한 근육피로의 특성을 표현하는 근육 모델 (Musculotendon Model to Represent Characteristics of Muscle Fatigue due to Functional Electrical Stimulation)

  • The musculotendon model is presented to show the declines in muscle force and shortening velocity during muscle fatigue due to the repeated functional electrical stimulation (FES). It consists of the nonlinear activation and contraction dynamics including physiological concepts of muscle fatigue. The activation dynamics represents $Ca^{2+}$ binding and unbinding mechanism with troponins of cross-bridges in sarcoplasm. It has the constant binding rate or activation time constant and two step nonlinear unbinding rate or inactivation time constant. The contraction dynamics is the modified Hill type model to represent muscle force - length and muscle force - velocity relations. A muscle fatigue profile as a function of the intracellular acidification, pH is applied into the contraction dynamics to represent the force decline. The computer simulation shows that muscle force and shortening velocity decline in stimulation time. And we validate the model. The model can predicts the proper muscle force without changing its parameters even when existing the estimation errors of the optimal fiber length. The change in the estimate of the optimal fiber length has an effect only on muscle time constant in transient period not on the tetanic force in the steady-state and relaxation periods.
