This study is to adjust the focus on the statistical survey about the rates of application for the 2005 Susi second semester admission to Universities in Daegu, Kyungbook. The decrease of population for university admission and the change of paradigm of selecting a field of specialization in university will have an adverse effect on ratios of admission. This is very important to the future of university in Daegu, Kyungbook.

There are many statistical information sites as the use of internet is increased quickly in recent years. In this paper, we explore and analyze internet sites for statistical information such as statistical survey system, education, database, and terminology. And then we classify these sites to apply statistical information to some particular spheres easily. Also, we analyze the patent map for domestic patents of statistical information. In so doing, the result of this study aims at enhancing our understanding of internet sites for statistical information.

We suggest a summary of sample design for the statistical survey of E-commerce to estimate the general trend as well as the market size and investment scale of e-commerce based on the Census on Basic Characteristic of Establishments(CBCE). The sample design of this survey is composed of systematic sampling and modified cut-off method.

The advantage of internet survey compared to the traditional survey methods are speedy in data collection, cost-effective, high performed design and able to data process and analysis at the same time. The other side are difficult to select sample, come from serious nonresponse errors. We suggest the new internet survey method to the questionnaire design that have the high response rate, enough to advanced preparations and system stability.

This paper describes an outline of the sampling design for crop area survey and product survey in Korea. The design attempts to from a double statification, to obtain an efficient allocation of the sample and to reduce the sampling error by establishign crop concentrated strata. The optimum numbers of sample field and sample plot are investigated. The design is made it possible to reduce the sampling errors as well as to reduce the sample size further than the present survey.

The difficulty of statistical survey has been weighted according to the development and the democratization of society. Since the survey cost increases and the quantity and the quality of the needed information become more diversity it is very hard to produce accurate and appropriate statistics in time. In order to cope with these survey conditions properly, we reviewed the statistical system of Korea and major countries, and proposed the improvable directions of our statistical system.

In this paper, we have considered the problems of the estimation of the gross areas of a factory site relating to the areas of industrial complex lands based on a statistical forecasting model and the results of a sampling survey. In respect to the data of a gross areas of a factory site, we have only the sizes from 1981-2003. In 2009, the Korea Industrial Complex Corp. conducted a sampling survey to estimate its bulk size, and investigate the demands of its sizes for the next five years. In this study, we have adopted the sampling survey results, and have created a statistical growth model for the gross areas of a factory site to improve the prediction for the areas of a factory site. The three-different parts of data: the results of areas of a factory site by Korea National Statistical Office, imputation results by the statistical forecasting model, and sampling survey results have used as the basis for analysis. The combination of the three-different parts of data has created a new forecasting value of the areas of a factory site through the spline smoothing method.

KOSIS(Korean Statistical Information System) was developed and serviced by National Statistical Office in Korea. In this paper, we report the survey results of the usage of KOSIS, and its improvement. Finally, we propose some recommendations for improvement of KOSIS, and discuss the usage of KOSIS in behalf of end-users.

Currently, Gyeongnam province is executing the social index survey every year to the provincials. But, this survey has the limit of the analysis as execution of the different survey per 3 year cycles. The solution of this problem is data fusion. Data fusion is the process of combining multiple data in order to provide information of tactical value to the user. But, data fusion doesn#t mean the ultimate result. Therefore, efficient analysis for the data fusion is also important. In this study, we present data fusion method of statistical survey data. Also, we suggest application methodology of association rule mining by clustering through data fusion of statistical survey data.
