  • Recently, various researches have been attempted to effectively display pseudo-aural senses to the hearing-impaired or the deaf, using vibro-tactile stimulus as well as visual sense. Particularly, it is reported that as complementary senses to support the visual sense, tactile senses displayed by either speakers or vibration motors improve the reality sense significantly but do not nearly improve the emotional sense. Thus, in this study, the thermal sense is selected as another complementary sense to support the pseudo-aural sense display and it is investigated whether the thermal sense could generate a pseudo-aural sense or not. For this purpose, a thermal display module which could effectively display the desired thermal sense is implemented. Then, experiments have been conducted to subjects, which provide them with various types of stimuli combined with the aural, the vibrotactile, and the thermal stimuli along with the visual information. It can be confirmed, through statistical analysis on the data collected from experiments, that subjects could feel a pseudo-thermal sense closer to the real thermal sense which the normal subject feel from both the visual and the aural information, particularly either i) with the thermal stimulus along with the visual information or ii) with both the thermal and the vibrotactile stimuli along with the visual information than only with the visual information. Conclusively, it can be confirmed that the thermal stimulus applied to the skin of the subjects could play a role of effectively displaying pseudo-aural sense related to the thermal sense, as an complementary media for the pseudo-aural display.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop HTE-STEAM program using natural disasters for high school students and to verify their attitude and satisfaction with STEAM. We developed the HTE-STEAM program utilizing natural disasters and tested the effectiveness of 243 students from G High School and N High School. For data analysis, a single group pretest and post response t-test were conducted to verify the effects on attitudes and satisfaction with STEAM. The research results are as follows. First, we developed STEAM education programs for high school students by selecting the topic of "natural disasters" in the area of earth science and flying drones as lifesaving drones. The six-hour program was designed to give students the experience to solve problems by applying essential knowledge related to natural disasters and drones, and what they learned in other situations. Second, there was a significant statistical test result in the t-test of the corresponding sample by the difference between the pre and post score of the STEAM attitude test (p <.05). The drone-based HTE-STEAM program had a significant improvement in the overall attitude toward STEAM education, which consists of seven subfactors. Third, in the HTE-STEAM satisfaction test, the average value of the lower job offer was 3.64 ~ 3.76, which showed a positive response overall. It is judged that the students' satisfaction is improved through the students' understanding of the problem situation and the design of creative convergence and production process.

The survey was gotten to a feminine customer who visited the ten of beauty-shops in shopping center. And statistical data about the actual condition of hair-styling preference realities, hair-styling method and style management was entered into the SPSS statistics analysis system. In brief, be as follows by the results of study. There showed significant difference that noted in hair-style information and basis alternative a beauty salon, there were able to know people whose age is from 20's to 40's got mainly an influence of public media very much and from 40's to 50's got mainly an influence of people around them. Basis alternative of a beauty salon showed significant difference to follow age categories. It appeared that introducing from people around them have a effect on the 20's and 30's, and 40's got an influence of convenience of traffic, and 50's got mainly the shortest distance. In an attitude toward a hair style, especially toward hair cut, a case to do hair cut was most a lot of in own selections, and its result was independent of age categories. The reason that wants to give a chance was most a lot of thinking without an age. Preference length of hair cut showed a significant difference according to age. In permanent section, own selections appeared most regardless of age. And in the permanent motive, also, to have a change appeared most regardless of age. And people had a preference natural to role up to setting regardless of age in permanent wave. In hair color section, women whose age is 20's, 30's, 40's had a motive for a change, on the other hand, 50's and their senior had a motive for a gray hair. Women of all over the age almost knew a fashion color, and they had a preference brown color. In a preference way along a hair color kind, there was a significant difference according to age, also. 20's and 30's did mainly 'semi-permanent coating' and 40's and 50's did mainly 'permanent hair color'. In a attitude about a hair-style management, the more age is young, the more a period is long term. And the more age is old, the more the outlay for price of cut is expensive. But, on the contrary, permanent price showed that the more age is young, the more the outlay for price of permanent is expensive. In hair color, the more age is old, the more a period is short and the more price is low.

  • In a time when product development cycles are getting shorter and shorter, many companies are making efforts to develop products with high reliability in a short period of time, accelerated life test is widely used as a method to quickly evaluate reliability. Accelerated life test reduces the test life or the life of the product from the observed data by shortening the lifetime of the product or abruptly lowering the performance under the worse condition than the actual condition in order to shorten the test cost or the test time. In this paper, BL3640A-06P+RB35, DC12V model, which is used in the support device of an automatic rotation type digital signage, which display various information such as textures and images on a display screen in a public place or a commercial space, BLDC motors were subjected to a constant stress test and at the rotational speed of 1rpm, $180^{\circ}$ rotation and reverse rotation under actual use conditions, the stress was imposed on the rotating speed of 2rpm and the weight of the actual installed product from 22.2kgf to 10kgf were installed. The lifetime of the actual use environment condition is 23,545 hours and the rotation speed is accelerated. The life time of the acceleration condition with the additional weight is 1,380 hours. The acceleration factor is calculated as 17.06, the one year guarantee test day is 235 days to 14 days, of the period from 470 days to 28 days, and the third year from 704 days to 42 days. The test date of the BLDC motor was tested on the shortened test date, and the rotational speed and the current value were measured. It is found that there is no defect even if it operates as the test date corresponding to the specified one year warranty period and the 3 year accelerated life test which is experimented. Using the statistical technique of the regression analysis the expected time for the motor to defect to #4 samples was 20 years.

  • The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the bioequivalence of two cefaclor capsules, Ceclor (Lilly Korea Co., Ltd.) and Kyongbocefaclor (Kyongbo Pharm. Co., Ltd.), according to the guidelines of the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA). The release of cefaclor from the two cefaclor formulations in vitro was tested using KP VIII Apparatus II method with various dissolution media (pH 1.2, 4.0, 6.8 buffer solution and water). Twenty four healthy male subjects, $22.96{\pm}1.52$ years in age and $67.03{\pm}7.90$ kg in body weight, were divided into two groups and a randomized $2{\times}2$ crossover study was employed. After one capsule containing 250 mg of cefaclor was orally administered, blood was taken at predetermined time intervals and the concentrations of cefaclor in serum were determined using HPLC method with UV detector. The dissolution profiles of two formulations were similar at all dissolution media. In addition, the pharmacokinetic parameters such as $AUC_t$, $C_{max}$ and $T_{max}$ were calculated and ANOVA test was utilized for the statistical analysis of the parameters using logarithmically transformed $AUC_t$, $C_{max}$ and untransformed $T_{max}$. The results showed that the differences between two formulations based on the reference drug, Ceclor, were -1.90%, 2.68% and -7.60% for $AUC_t$, $C_{max}$ and $T_{max}$, respectively. There were no sequence effects between two formulations in these parameters. The 90% confidence intervals using logarithmically transformed data were within the acceptance range of log 0.8 to log 1.25 $(e.g.,\;log0.91{\sim}log\;1.06\;and\;log0.92{\sim}log\;1.18\;for\;AUC_t\;and\;C_{max}$, respectively). Thus, the criteria of the KFDA bioequivalence guideline were satisfied, indicating Kyongbocefaclor capsule was bioequivalent to Ceclor capsule.
