Expert Testimony in Litigation of Sexual Violence against People With intellectual disabilities (지적장애인 성폭력 사건 재판에서 전문가 참여제도 활용 실태)

  • This study analyzed the use of expert reports in the investigations and trials of cases of sexual violence against people with intellectual disabilities. A total of 670 alleged sexual assault cases against victims with intellectual disabilities were analyzed. Results showed that 97.5% of the cases included at least one expert report. In most cases(91%), the expert reports of statement validity assessment were included. Additionally, doctor's note (41.1%) from obstetricians and Psychiatrists, intermediary reports(36%), and expert witnesses(psychologists') reports (9.5%) were included. In 80 cases (44.4%) of the 180 cases in which a victim' statement credibility was in question during the trial, judges cited the expert's reports of statement validity assessment as the basis for the judgment on the reliability of the victims' accusation. The frequency of citing the report was higher when the victim was under the age of 13, or when the defendant was found guilty. Regrading the report content, the evaluations of criteria-based content analysis(CBCA) was most frequently cited, while the victim's psychological status, cognitive limitation, as well as possibile contamination of victim's account, were also mentioned in the ruling statements. Results showed agreement between experts' statement validity assessments and judges' determinations in 79 cases out of the 80 cases Finally, this study discussed ways to utilize expert options.

The Paradox of Analysis and Some Resolutions (분석의 역설과 역설회피의 전략)

  • We put forward a scheme of the theory of analysis, and G. E. Moore's theory of analysis is reconstructed. As C. H. Langford pointed out, Moore's theory commits to the paradox of analysis which says that if a analysis is correct then it is not informative, and if it is informative it is not correct. For, according to his theory, analysing statement is necessarily true identity statement and have some information. Moorean responses which is given by Max Black, Raymond Bradley and Norman Swartz, and Wilfrid Sellars rely on the distinction between the information about concepts and linguistic entity. These approaches are deficient in dealing properly with the difference in concepts as analysandum and analysans. Also, non-Moorean resolutions asserted by Myers, King, Black, and Earl are examined.

Presidential Candidate's Speech based on Network Analysis : Mainly on the Visibility of the Words and the Connectivity between the Words (18대 대통령 선거 후보자의 연설문 네트워크 분석: 단어의 가시성(visibility)과 단어 간 연결성(connectivity)을 중심으로)

  • This study explores the political meaning of candidate's speech and statement who run for the 18th presidential election in the viewpoint of communication. The visibility of the words and the connectivity between the words are analyzed in the viewpoint of structural aspect and the vision, policy. The visibility of the words is analyzed based on the frequency of the words mentioned in the speech or the statement. The connectivity between the words are analyzed based on the network analysis and expressed by graph. In the case of candidate Park, the key word is the happiness of the people and appointment. The key word for candidate Moon is regime change and the Korean Peninsula and the key word for candidate Ahn is the people and change. This study contributes positively to the study of candidate's discourse in the viewpoint of methodology by using network analysis and exploring scientifically the connectivity of the words. In the theoretical aspect this study uses the results of network analysis for revealing what is the leadership components in the speech and the statement. In conclusion, this study highlights the extension of the communication studies.

Development and Implementation of Extension Models Based on the Review of Cash Flow Models (현금흐름모형 고찰에 의한 확장모형의 개발 및 적용)

  • The aim of this study is to investigate and develop the extended models for Economic Cash Amount(ECA), Cash Break Even-Point(BEP), and Cash Flow Statement(CFS) by referencing systematic literature review in the field. The study develops three extended models to determine the optimal cash amount: ECA model with interest opportunity cost, financing transaction cost and financing fail cost, ECA model with daily cash supply and interest opportunity cost, ECA model with financing fail cost and interest opportunity cost. Earnings Before Interests, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization(EBITDA) is obtained by subtracting noncash depreciation costs from Earning Before Interest and Tax(EBIT), which is efficient metric to evaluate operating cash flow. The research also develops two extended Cash BEP models, considered as interest and corporate tax, in order to indentify the break-even point as EBITDA equals zero. Furthermore, this paper proposes the modified version of CFS by introducing the reclassification of operating and financing accounts in the statement of financial position. In addition, the study also present the reclassification of five types of profit, such as gross profit, EBIT, ordinary profit, special profit, and net profit within the statement of comprehensive income. In order to provide a better understanding of the proposed cash flow models, numerical examples, such as two-sample t test and Analysis of Variance(ANOVA), are presented to demonstrate the statistical significance according to the industrial types for net working capital(i.e cash-to-cash), net profit, operating cash flow and free cash flow.

A Study on the Effective Visual Form Following the Numerical Information Types (수치정보 유형에 따른 효과적인 시각적 형태 연구)

  • Although a number of information is emerging in the big data era and studies on the infographic studies for delivering it effectively are becoming an issue, the visualization study on the numerical information delivered through the credit card statement is very poor compared to its importance. The effective visualization method following each information characteristics was by analyzing the numerical information types focusing on the credit card statement. The type of the figure information classified into the comparative analysis, progress of time change, proportion, relationship, scope, and distribution, and it was made into the graph form proper to the nature of each information to study the most effective and ideal visual form. Therefore, this study is significant because it suggests a control point of the visualization by pointing out an effective visual form for delivering the numerical information that appears on the credit card statement with the figure characteristics.

First-year Undergraduate Students' Understanding about Statements (대학 신입생들의 명제에 대한 이해)

  • This study was motivated by recognizing the weakness of teaching and learning about the concepts of statements in high school mathematics curriculum. To report the reality of students' understanding about statements, this study investigated the 33 first-year undergraduate students' understanding about the concepts of statements by giving them 22 statement problems. The problems were selected based on the conceptual framework including five types of statement concepts which are considered as the key ideas for understanding mathematical reasoning and proof in college level mathematics. The analysis of the participants' responses to the statement problems found that their understanding about the concepts of prepositions are very limited and extremely based on the instrumental understanding applying an appropriate remembered rule to the solution of a preposition problem without knowing why the rule works. The results from this study will give the information for effective teaching and learning of statements in college level mathematics, and give the direction for the future reforming the unite of statements in high school mathematics curriculum as well.

  • Sport industry creates value-added by production and distribution of product or service related with sports or sports. Professional sports will lead to major area of sport service industry in the future. The purpose of study is to analyze financial condition and management performance by using financial statement(2005-2007) of korean professional soccer citizen teams. The analysis of financial condition and management performance is executed by financial ratio analysis method. The content of this study involve comparison with standardization ratio and financial ratios among professional soccer citizen teams. The results of this study are as follows. First, liquidity ratio measured by current ratio and quick ratio was high with compared to standardization ratio. Second, leverage ratio measured by debt ratio was very high. Third, activity ratio was good condition. Finally, profitability ratio was very low having minus ratio generally.

제 7차 교육과정 개정을 위한 가정계 고등학교 교육과정 체제 및 구조 개선 연구

  • This study proposes a model curriculum for Vocational Home Economics High School in the 7th Curriculum Revision. The model in the study is first drawn from the assumptions that reflect ever changing demands of industrial society for Home Economics education. Another perspective employed in the study is historical analysis that focuses on the evolution of the Vocational Home Economics Curricula from the 1st through the 6th revision. This study also employes comparative research tools for the national level comparison such as USA, Japan, Taiwan, and Korea. The proposed model curriculum in this study is concluded from those step-by-step studies as follows:1) Problem definition and design in current curriculum for Vocational Home Economics high school; 2) Needs and roles analysis of Vocational Home Economics high school for the future; and 3)Historical analysis of our curriculum revisions in the past and coparative analysis with other countries. Authors conducted this research project for 3 month period from June 15, 1996 to September 15, 1996. During this period, authors collected the data and information through those method as an extensive literature review, survey and interview, and curriculum specialist conference. The key and critical features of the proposed curriculum in the study are as follows:1) In the numbers of department, a proposed model curriculum offers 8 as opposed to 6 in the 6th revision, reflecting two additional departments of “Elderly Welfare”and “Cosmotology”. 2) In the statement of educational objectives, a model curriculum emphasizes a more concrete statement to each specific skills according to the changing societal needs. 3) In the numbers of total subject matters, there would be 40 in the new as opposed to 23 in the current curriculum. Among these changes, 17 would occurr in the newly introduced subject matters, while 11 would simply change the subject matter name. Among 40 subject matter, “Introduction to Computer” and “Home Economics in Vocational Education”would be required subject matter. 4) In the total numbers of required unit for graduation in three years, a model offers 86∼132 unit. A maximum unit for each subject matter would be 12.

Development and Application of a Creative Problem Solving Analysis Framework for Elementary School Science Textbook - Focused on the 5th and 6th grade 1st semester - (초등 과학 교과서에서 창의적 문제해결력 분석특 개발과 적용 - 5, 6학년 1학기 교과서를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the analytic framework of Creative Problem Solving(CPS) for elementary school science textbook. For this purpose, we developed the framework based on the theories of problem, definition of problem solving and various kinds of CPS model. The six elements of the framework for content analysis were extracted through theoretical examination: problem introduction, problem statement, solution thinking, formulating hypothesis, testing hypothesis, and assessment. The developed framework was applied to the extbooks for the 5th and the 6th grades 1st semester in elementary science textbook of the 7th national curriculum. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The scores of the framework for content analysis in the 5th grade were slightly higher than those of the 6th grade, but there were no significant difference. 2. The comparison of the scores between the elements of the framework was found that the scores on the elements of testing hypothesis and formulating hypothesis were higher than those of the other elements. 3. The comparison of the scores between the units was found that the scores of the framework for the 9th unit (“trip of water”) of the 5th grade were higher than those of the other units, which were presented lower level than 1.0 (50.0%) score of the framework. 4. The comparison of the scores between the intensive course and the regular coures in the 6th grade textbook was showed that the scores on the intensive course were higher than the basic course. In conclusions, it was found that the problem introduction and problem statement in the textbook should be amended, and that various information and activities should be presented in the textbook.

A Study on the Comparative Analysis of the Description Rules of ISBD and KCR4 (ISBD 통합판과 KCR4 기술규칙 비교 연구)

  • This study was to suggest the new rules for revision of KCR4 by comparing between ISBD consolidated edition and KCR4. The study methods was to compare the rules in each element after mapping the description elements in each area of ISBD and KCR4. Resultingly, first, content forms and media types must be included for describing resource types. Second, it is needed for rules about the common title and the dependent title. Third, it is needed for rules about "parallel" such as parallel title, parallel other title information, parallel statement of responsibility relating to title, parallel edition statement, parallel statement of responsibility relating to edition, parallel numbering system, parallel place of publication, production and distribution, et. al. Fourth, the rules about material or type of resource specific area must be regulated in terms of the contents of the resource. Fifth, the home country principle must be not applied in describing the place of publication, production and distribution for the consistency. Sixth, it is needed to regulate the extent, other physical details, dimensions, and accompanying material statement for all materials instead of the material description according to material types. Seventh, rule number of notes must be agreed to number of main rules. Eighth, it is needed for detailed rules about resource identifier. This study might be contributed to revise the KCR4.
