은을 촉매로 사용하는 과산화수소 추력기 개발 (Development of Hydrogen Peroxide Thruster adopted Silver Catalyst)

  • 최근에 친환경 로켓 추진제로 과산화수소가 새로운 관심을 받게 됨에 따라 이에 대한 연구를 수행하기 위해 은을 촉매로 사용한 과산화수소 단일추진제 추력기와 시험설비를 개발하였다. 본 논문에서는 설계 제작된 추력기와 시험설비를 소개하고, 점화시험을 통해 연소실 압력 및 온도, 점화지연 시간, 특성 배기속도 등의 추력기 성능을 분석하였다. 점화시험 결과 정상상태 운전조건에서 95%까지의 높은 특성배기속도 효율을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 고속병렬컴퓨터와 같이 다중노드로 구성된 시스템에서 사용되는 유한 버퍼를 가지는 노드간 통신시스템의 성능을 대기행렬모형을 사용하여 평가/분석하였다. 전체 시스템을 각 서브 시스템별로 나누어 버퍼크기의 제한으로 발생하는 블로킹을 고려한 안정상태에서의 도착률과 확률 값들을 구한 뒤, 이를 이용하여 전체 시스템의 성능을 분석하는 방법을 사용하였다. 평균 전송시간과 처리율을 구하여 이를 시뮬레이션 결과와 비교 검증하였으며, 제안한 모형을 사용하여 버퍼의 크기가 처리율에 미치는 결과를 분석하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose an effective routing protocol that can be particularly applied to SDDC (Sangmyung Direct Digital Controller) BAS. We have used NS (Network Simulator)-2 to simulate the real building for SDDC BAS. The static, session, DV (Distance Vector), and LS (Link State) algorithms are used and the protocols for performance comparison and evaluation are compared with respect to end to end delay, throughput, and routing overhead. The simulation results show that the DV algorithm is effective for SDDC BAS.

  • In this paper we implemented the fast thinning unit by modifying the pipeline architecture which was proposed by Stanley R. Sternberg. The unit is useful in preprocessing such as image representation and pattern recognition etc. This unit is composed of interface part, local memory part, address generation part, thinning processing part and control part. In thinning processing part, we shortened the thinning part which performed by means of look up table using window mapping table. Thus we improved the weakness of SAP, in which the number of delay pipeline and window pipeline are equal to image column size. Two independent memorys using tri-state buffer enable the two direction flow of address generated by address generation part. This unit avoids the complexity of architecture and has flexibility of image size by means of simple modification of logic bits.

  • In this paper, a multiple-access algorithm for PCN is proposed. The proposed algorithm provides th integrated service of information soruces and can be operated stably in high load state. Given bandwidth is efficiently used for it in the microcell environment. And system performance can be improved through the statistical-multiplexing technque. In order to process the speech signal usually requiring real-tiem processing, we adopt a random access of AlOHA type for th ebasic protocol sturcture and assume the form of ALOHA-reservation. We have analyzed the performance of the proposed algorithm through system throughput and packet delay in the microcell environment.

화염전달함수의 위상차를 이용한 시간지연 분석 (Time Lag Analysis Using Phase of Flame Transfer Function)

  • Main purpose of the current paper is to show results of time lag analysis using phase information of flame transfer function in order to predict combustion instabilities in a gas turbine combustor. The flame transfer function (FTF) is modeled using a commercial Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) code (Fluent). Comparisons of the modeled flame shapes with the measured ones were made using the optimized heat transfer conditions and combustion models. The FTF modeling results show a quite good agreement with the measurement data in predicting the phase delay (i.e. time lag). Time lag analysis results using the phase of FTF shows better combustion instability prediction accuracy than using time lag calculated from the steady state flame length.

  • Global e-SCM (electronic Supply Chain Management) has become an important business strategy in a rapidly changing global competition environment. It encompasses both domestic business and overseas business. Overseas business, including B2B and B2G, involves the complex trade procedures across countries. So, the standardization of electronic documents (messages) and business processes is one of critical factors for the successful implementation of global e-SCM. Without standardized messages and streamlined business processes, the benefits of global e-SCM would not be guaranteed because of human intervention like re-keying business data, which may create errors, delay processes, cause additional data or procedures, etc. Thus, this paper is to review the implementation challenges of Global e-SCM, to address the needs for electronic information flows through the standardization in electronic documents and business processes for fast and accurate trade transactions in the global supply chain activities, and to assert the importance of adoption of international standards.

A Tightly Regulated Triple Output Asymmetrical Half Bridge Flyback Converter

  • In this paper, a tightly regulated triple output asymmetrical half bridge flyback (ASHF) converter is proposed. In order to regulate all output voltages, pulse frequency modulation (PFM), pulse width modulation (PWM) and phase delay (PD) are used simultaneously. In comparison with the conventional PWM-PD method, the interactions among the control variables are minimized and the operating range is increased. By the utilization of a multi winding transformer, the auxiliary transformer and the blocking capacitor are eliminated and the size and cost of the proposed converter is reduced. The operation principle of the converter is explained and the modes of operation are investigated. Based on the results, the steady state characteristics of the converter are explored. A 24V/10A, 12V/5A, 5V/10A hardware prototype is built and tested to verify the analysis results and the voltage regulation of the triple outputs of the proposed converter.

Finite-Horizon Online Transmission Scheduling on an Energy Harvesting Communication Link with a Discrete Set of Rates

  • As energy harvesting communication systems emerge, there is a need for transmission schemes that dynamically adapt to the energy harvesting process. In this paper, after exhibiting a finite-horizon online throughput-maximizing scheduling problem formulation and the structure of its optimal solution within a dynamic programming formulation, a low complexity online scheduling policy is proposed. The policy exploits the existence of thresholds for choosing rate and power levels as a function of stored energy, harvest state and time until the end of the horizon. The policy, which is based on computing an expected threshold, performs close to optimal on a wide range of example energy harvest patterns. Moreover, it achieves higher throughput values for a given delay, than throughput-optimal online policies developed based on infinite-horizon formulations in recent literature. The solution is extended to include ergodic time-varying (fading) channels, and a corresponding low complexity policy is proposed and evaluated for this case as well.

  • An on-line system identification scheme of unknown system is proposed based on a Laguerre models representation. The unknown parameters are detemined using recursive least-square identification. The proposed method have the advantage that an unknown system can be modelled without structural knowledge and assumption about the true model order and time delay. Therefore, the proposed method can make the design procedure very when compared to widely-used conventional method.
