랜드마크 기반의 전방향 청소로봇 설계 및 제어 (Design and Control of an Omni-directional Cleaning Robot Based on Landmarks)

  • 본 논문에서는 3개의 바퀴를 취하는 삼각형 구조의 전방향 청소로봇의 설계와 제어에 대해 소개한다. 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 제안하는 방법의 동작을 검증한다. 전방향 구조는 어느 방향으로 움직일 수 있다. 천장의 마커를 사용하는 StaGazer 센서를 사용하여 로봇의 위치와 헤딩각을 알아냈다. 추가로 초음파 센서를 부착하여 장애물을 검출할 수 있도록 하였다. 실험을 통해 시스템의 성능을 평가하였다.

Temperature Analysis for the Linear Cell in the Vapor Deposition Process

  • The OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) display recently used for the information indicating device has many advantages over the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), and its demand will be increased highly. The linear cell should be designed carefully considering the uniformity of thin film on the substrate. Its design needs to compute the temperature field analytically because the uniformity for the thin film thickness depends on the temperature distribution of the source (organic material). In the present study, the design of the linear cell will be modified or improved on the basis of the temperature profiles obtained for the simplified linear cell. The temperature distributions are numerically calculated through the STAR-CD program, and the grids are generated by means of the ICEM CFD program. As the results of the simplified linear cell, the temperature deviation was shown in the parabolic form among the both ends and the center of the source. In order to reduce the temperature deviation, the configuration of the rectangular ends of the crucible was modified to the circular type. In consequence, the uniform temperature is maintained in the range of about 90 percent length of the source. It is expected that the present methods and results on the temperature analysis can be very useful to manufacture the vapor deposition device.

  • This paper describes a transformerless static synchronous campensator (STATCOM) system based on cascade H-bridge multilevel inverter with star configuration. It is designed not only for the dynamic and continuous compensation of the reactive power but also for the improvement of power quality of existing wind power plant. Especially, when the induction generator of wind turbine is directly connected to the grid, reactive power are occurred by exiting current. so a reactive power compensation system based on the cascade H-bridge multilevel STATCOM is proposed because the output power quality and controllability of reactive power are required by grid code in many different countries. Using various The proposed reactive power control strategy using a STATCOM is compared with the conventional scheme using fixed-size of capacitor bank through various simulation results.

  • LoRa 통신 프로토콜은 근 10년간 사물인터넷 네트워크를 위한 유망 기술로 평가받고 있다. 이론적으로, 처프 대역 확산 프로토콜을 사용하여 장거리 통신에 강인하고 하나의 물리 채널에 서로 직교하는 여러 논리채널을 제공할 수 있으며 중첩 성형의 망구조로 공간 다양성을 활용할 수 있는 것이 대표적 이유이다. 최근의 몇몇 연구들은 이러한 특징 중 논리 채널 사이의 불완전한 실질적인 준직교성을 지적한다. 그러나 직교하는 논리 채널을 형성하는 것은 확산 인자와 대역폭 두 가지 설정 인자임에도 불구하고 대부분의 연구는 확산 인자만을 요소로 직교성을 평가한다. 본 연구에서는 두 설정 인자를 모두 고려하여 논리 채널 사이의 준 직교성을 정리한다. 또한, 이에 따른 논리 채널 사이의 간섭으로 인해 변화하는 통신 품질을 정리한다.

A Study on Humanoid Robot Control Method Using Zigbee Wireless Servo Motor with Sensor Network

  • In this study, we developed two legged multi-joint robot by using wireless servo motor that was applied by wireless sensor network technology, which is widely used recently, and performed an experiment of walking method of two legged multi-joint robot. We constructed the star network with servo motors which were used at each joint of two-legged robot. And we designed the robot for operation by transmission of joint control signal from main control system or by transmission of the status of each joint to the main control system, so it operates with continuously checking the status of joints at same time. We developed the humanoid robot by using wireless digital servo motor which is different from existing servo motor control system, and controlled it by transmitting the information of angles and speeds of robot joints to the motor(node) as a feedback through main control system after connecting power and setting up the IDs to each joint. We solved noisy problem generated from wire and wire length to connection point of the control device by construction of the wireless network instead of using existing control method of wiring, and also solved problem of poor real time response to gait motion by controlling the position with continuous transmission of control signals to each joint. And we found that the effective control of robot is able by performing the simulation on walking motion in advance with the developed control algorithm which was downloaded into installed memory. Also we performed the stable walking with two-legged robot by attaching pressure sensor to robot sole. And we examined the robot gait operated by application of calculated algorithm on robot movement to each joint. In this study, we studied the method of controlling robot gait motion by using wireless servo motors and measured the torque applied to each joint, and found that the developed wireless servo motor by ZigBee sensor network offers easier control of two legged robot gait and better circuit configuration of it than the existing wired control system could do.

공생별에서 라만 산란선의 형성 (RAMAN SPECTROSCOPY IN SYMBIOTIC STARS)

  • Symbiotic stars are known as binary systems of a giant with heavy mass loss and a white dwarf accompanied by an emission nebula. They often show bipolar nebulae, and are believed to form an accretion disk around the white dwarf component by attracting the slow but heavy stellar wind around the giant companion. However, the existence and physical properties of the accretion disk in these systems still remain controversial. Unique to the spectra of symbiotic stars is the existence of the symbiotic bands around $6830{\AA}$ and $7088{\AA}$, which have been identified by Schmid (1989) as the Raman scattered features of the O VI $1032{\AA}$ and $1038{\AA}$ doublet by atomic hydrogen. Due to the incoherency of the Raman scattering, these features have very broad profiles and they are also strongly polarized. In the accretion disk emission model, it is expected that the Raman features are polarized perpendicular to the binary axis and show multiple peak structures in the profile, because the neutral scatterers located near the giant component views the accretion disk in the edge-on direction. Assuming the presence of scattering regions outflowing in the polar directions, we may explain the additional red wing or red peak structure, which is polarized parallel to the binary axis. We argue that in the accretion disk emission model it is predicted that the profile of the Raman feature around $6830{\AA}$ is different from the profile of the $7088{\AA}$ because the O VI line optical depth varies locally around the white dwarf component. We conclude that the Raman scattered features are an important tool to investigate the physical conditions and geometrical configuration of the accretion disk in a symbiotic star.

저속데이타 전송용 VSAT 통신시스템의 링크설계 (Link Design of VSAT Communication System for Low Speed Data Transmission)

  • 저속데이타 전용 지구국시스템은 상업 위성통신분야에서 새로운 개념으로 알려져 있으며 성형망 구조로 사용자들에게 직접 정보를 제공하는데 이용된다. 본 시스템의 특성은 지구국 가격이 낮고, 크기가 작고, 설치가 간단하며 다양한 응용(신용조회, 전자우편, 화상회의, 예약시스템, DB요청, 참가신청등)을 가능하게 한다. 그러므로 VSAT서비스에 대한 요구가 상당히 커지고 있다. 본 논문은 무궁화위성을 이용하는 VSAT망의 링크설계에 관한 연구이다. 본 논문에서 위성통신시스템의 성능계산을 하는데 필요한 기본 공식 및 기준데이타를 편리하게 나열하였고, 지구국의 안테나 및 HPA출력크기 그리고 링크마진을 계산하였다. 일반적으로 VSAT시스템에서 중심국의 안테나 크기는 단말국의 안테나보다 크기 때문에 본 논문에서 인바운드(Inbound)와 아웃바운드(Outbound)의 반송과 전력분배 기법을 도입하였으며 중심국과 단말국의 안테나 크기는 각각 3.7m와 1.2 m로 설계되었다.
