영상 융합하여 분석한 파킨슨씨병 환자영상의 유용성 (Usefulness of Registration in the Evaluation of Parkinson′s Disease)

  • 목 적 : $^{123}$ I IPT SPECT에서 선조체 섭취율(specific striatal binding ratio: SBR)과 미상핵과 전$.$후 조가비핵의 비(anterior/posterior ratio: APR)를 측정하기 위해 육안적인 방법으로 설정한 수동 관심영역설정 방법과 MR template을 영상 융합하여 해부학적 영상을 기준으로 관심영역을 설정하는 방법에서 수동방법과 영상 융합 방법간 차이의 유의성과 분석 그룹간의 유의성과 재현성을 분석하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: Early parkinson군 17명(남/녀:8/9, 56.6$\pm$10.8세)과 severe parkinson군 13명(남/녀:8/5, 56.4$\pm$11.1세), 정상인 11명(남/녀:7/4, 57.8$\pm$14.4세)을 대상으로 $^{123}$ I IPT 259 MBq을 정맥 주사한 후 얻은 $^{123}$ I IPT SPECT 영상에서 수동 ROI와 영상융합방법에 의한 ROI를 설정하였다. 영상융합방법에 의한 자동 관심영역 설정방법은 NMI 방법으로 $^{123}$ I IPT SPECT와 MNI T1 template를 영상 융합하여 midthalamic level에서 선조체의 경계를 따라 하부조직을 7개의 관심영역으로 구분하여 SBR과 APR을 측정하고 수동방법으로 측정한 SBR과 APR과 통계적 유의성을 분석하였다. 결 과:수동 관심영역 설정방법과 자동 관심영역 설정방법에 의한 두 분석 방법간 비교에서 SBR은 정상인 그룹(r=0.853, P=0.001), early parkinson군(H&Y stage I, II) (r=0.841, P=0.000), severe parkinson군(H&Y stage III, IV) (r=702, P=0.007) 모두에서 유의한 상관관계를 보였으나 APR은 early parkinson군에서만 유의한 상관관계(r=0.720, P=0.001)를 보였고 정상인(r=0.567, P=0.069), severe parkinson군(r=0.413, P=0.161)로 유의한 상관관계를 보이지 않았다. 분석그룹간 비교에서 수동 관심영역 설정방법에서 정상인과 early parkinson군(P=0.000), 정상인과 severe parkinson군(P=0.000), early parkinson군과 severe parkinson군(P=0.013) 모두 유의한 결과를 보였고, 자동 관심영역 설정방법에서 정상인과 early parkinson군(P=0.000), 정상인과 severe parkinson군(P=0.000), early parkinson군과 severe parkinson군(P=0.003)에서는 유의한 결과를 보였다. APR은 수동 관심영역 설정방법에서는 분석그룹간에 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다(정상인과 early parkinson군:P=0.316, 정상인과 severe parkinson군:P=0.256, early parkinson군과 severe parkinson군:P=0.969). 자동 관심영역 설정방법에서는 정상인과 early parkinson군(P=0.038), 정상인과 severe parkinson군(P=0.027)에서는 유의한 결과를 보였으나 early parkinson군과 severe parkinson군에서는 유의한 결과를 보이지 않았다(P=0.948). 재현성은 CV값으로 자동 관심영역 설정방법이 7.2%, 수동 관심영역 설정방법이 31%로 자동 관심영역 설정방법의 재현성이 4.3배 높았다. 결 론:$^{123}$ I IPT SPECT영상에서 SBR과 APR의 측정이 해부학적 표준영상인 T1 template를 기준으로 영상 융합하여 선조체와 하부조직을 미상핵과 조가비핵 전측과 후측으로 구분하여 섭취율을 측정하는 방법이 수동으로 관심영역을 설정하여 분석하는 방법보다 통계적으로 유의하고 재현성 있는 결과를 보였다.

A Study on Automated Bluetooth Communication Testing Methods Using CSR8670 Chip

  • Bluetooth technology(BT) is a standard for short distance wireless communication and widely used to connect and control various electronic and telecommunication devices without wires, where CSR8670 chip is generally adopted. These BT devices are required to comply with BT specification and the equipments for conformance test are also important. However, the existing BT testing methods have inconvenience in that they are mostly time-consuming procedure due to not only repetitive execution for each evaluation element but also error-prone nature of manual experiments. This paper proposes an automated BT communication test method using CSR8670 chip, which solves the problems related to manual testing methods. The proposed method can reduce the development period of BT products and guarantee the quality improvement owing to the exact system error detection capability.

  • The military services have sought to improve the overall quality, management, and delivery of military technical information in all of its aspects. The efforts concentrated on developing IETM(Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) by using the application of computer technology for the storage, control, and presentation of maintenance, system-operation, training, and other forms of logistic-support technical information. In this paper, the methodologies are presented to evaluate the operational effectiveness of IETM which consists of confirmity and performance. Confirmity is evaluated by the check-sheet based on the standard of CALS, and performance by the comparison of the technician performance between IETM and paper-TM.

  • Thoracic kyphosis is occasionally used to describe someone with accentuated thoracic curvature, hyperkyphosis is preferred since kyphosis itself refers to the normal sagittal angle of thoracic curvature. The angle of thoracic kyphosis tends to increase with age resulting in hyperkyphosis in some individuals. The persons who suffer from hyperkyphosis are at increased risk for a variety of adverse health outcomes that include musculoskeletal alteration, physical functional limitations, poor quality of life, falls, and even earlier mortality. Hyperkyphosis may develop from vertebral fractures, degenerative disc disease, either muscle weakness, decreased mobility and sensory deficits. The gold-standard orthopaedic technique for assessment of thoracic kyphosis is standing lateral spine radiographs. Other clinical measures are Debrunner kyphometer, inclinometer, flexicurve ruler, arcometer, flexible electrogoniometer and spinal mouse.

동력 경운기용 레벨러 제작에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of Leveller for Power Tiller)

  • This study was conducted to develop the leveller suitable for power tiller which has been widely used in Korea. Field test was carried out to determine its performance in accordance with the tilt angles of blede, forward velocities , and the length of blade . The results are follows ; 1. Earth moving capacity of the standard leveller was found to be 90~95kg of soil per one swath while working at the 2nd ~4th gears of forward speed. 2. Work performance of model leveller was 2 , 3, 4 times higher than manual operation in distributing additional soil of thickness 6mm , 12 mm and 24 mm on paddyland, respectively. 3. Levelling performance of model leveller on the inclined fields was 7 ~9 times higher than manual operation.

  • A Technical Manual is the tool that offers a guidance to a maintenance engineer in order to exactly use and maintain of complicated weapon system. Because the modern weapon system are complex and functionality integrated, its quantity is massive. So We spend a lot of money on its publication and suspending recent information. To solve this problem, to reduce a risk of loss and use easily, this study develops the IETM(Interactive Electronic technical manual) which observes the CALS standard. This paper provide the development concept, environment, technic of IETM.

  • It is not difficult to find risky manual material handling which requires various arm exertion for moving and assembling irregular stuffs in industries. Many of workers have been hurt on their muscular and skeletal system due to the manual material handling. This study is to provide data for isokinetic muscular strength elbow flexors and extensors of Korean male and female adults. Provided standard data for isokinetic muscular strength of elbow flexous and extensors can be used for scientific and systematic analysis of arm exertionl.

  • Idiopathic scoliosis is a complex three-dimensional deformity of the spine. There is two ways in treatment of scoliosis, normally. In order to prevent a progressive course of the disorder, conservative treatment is started in selected patients. And sometimes, operation is performed to severe patients. But, application standard is vague. So We reviewed the latest medical theses. English language articles in Medline database between 2003 and 2005. 8. 31. were reviewed. The searching words was Idiopathic scoliosis, conservative treatment, brace. exercise. We classified 27 articles. The results of this research demonstrate that conservative treatment is more effective than observation until operation.

ATO 자동운전 기반의 무인운전 경전철 TPS에 관한 연구 (A Study on TPS based on ATO for Driverless LRT)

  • Automatic Operation based on ATO (Automatic Train Operation) is necessary for driverless Light Rail Transit business. When this kind of driverless LRT operation plan is made, TPS (Train Performance Simulation) is traditionally simulated at all-out mode and coasting mode based on manual operation. Commercial schedule speed equals to all-out speed minus $9{\sim}15%$ make-up margin. Coasting mode TPS simulation is also run at commercial schedule speed to calculate run time and energy consumption. But TPS based on manual operation should make an improvement on accuracy in case of driverless LRT operation Plan. In this paper, new fast mode TPS simulation using ATO pattern is proposed and show near actual ATO result. The actual ATO pattern can be accurately simulated with the introduction of 4 parameters such as commercial braking rate, jerk, station stop profile and grade converted distance. Normal mode TPS simulation for commercial schedule speed can be designed to have fast mode trip time plus 3 seconds/km margin recommended by korean standard LRT specification.
