Study on Standard Herb Prescriptions Based on the Specific Names of the Sick and Wounded for the Application of Oriental Herbal Medicine Health Insurance (한약 건강 보험 시행을 위한 특정 상병명에 따른 기준처방 조사)

  • Objectives: To study the standard herb prescriptions based on the specific names of the sick and wounded for the application of Eastern Medicine Health Insurance. Methods: We selected 678 herb prescriptions from the eleven Eastern medical books recognized by the Ministry for Health of Korea and then researched the concrete opinions of Korean Oriental Medicine Societies (KOMS) on those herb prescriptions from July 31, 2006 to August 31, 2006. Results and Conclusions: KOMS said that 80 herb prescriptions must be included and 26 herb prescriptions must be excluded. They also said that the proper numbers of the specific names of the sick and wounded for the application of Eastern Herbal Medicine Health Insurance were 20-29 and the proper range of herb prescription change was within 30 percent.

  • This paper describes the LBS Terminal Standard Platform based on WIPI. The LBS Terminal Standard Platform based on WIPI is API for obtaining the location information in the mobile standard platform providing the environment which is mounted on the mobile communications terminal and can platform an application. The mobile Platform consists of HAL API, C API and Java API that it is able to process Location Information data among wireless network. It is defined and developed at the HAL sections and C sections based on Generic I/O, and It describes in details in this paper. This standard Platform is expected to be utilized as the base specification in developing the LBS Terminal development technology and standard method to LBS application developers.

  • In this research, a new methodology to perform building energy analysis using Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) standard has been studied. With the help of Archicad 14 modeling software, a 3D test model is generated and then exported to IFCXML format. A ruby code program retrieves the building information from the resulting IFCXML file using Nokogiri library. An INP file is created and gets ready for next energy analysis step. DOE 2.2 program analyzes the INP file and gives a detailed report of the energy cost of the building. Case study shows when using the IFC standard method, the Interoperability of the energy analysis is greatly improved. The main stream 3D building modeling software supports IFC standard. DOE 2.2 is able to read the INP file generated by IFC file. This means almost any 3D model created by main stream modeling software can be analyze in terms of energy cost Thus, IFC based energy analysis method has a promising future. With the development and application of IFC standard, designers can do more complex and easy-to-run energy analysis in a more efficient way.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to apply the Bayesian estimation methodology for producing 'Korean Standard -Quality Excellence Index' model and prove the effectiveness of the new approach based on survey data by comparing the current index with the new index produced by Bayesian estimation method. Methods: The 'Korean Standard -Quality Excellence Index' was produced through the collected survey data by Bayesian estimation method and comparing the deviation with two results for confirming the effectiveness of suggested application. Results: The statistical analysis result shows that suggested estimator, that is, empirical Bayes estimator improves the effectiveness of the index with regard to reduce the error under specific loss function, which is suggested for checking the goodness of fit. Conclusion: Considering the Bayesian techniques such as empirical Bayes estimator for producing the quality excellence index reduces the error for estimating the parameter of interest and furthermore various Bayesian perspective approaches seems to be meaningful for producing the corresponding index.

  • The purpose of this paper is to establish standard for selecting musical materials for teaching English pronunciation in elementary school. For this purpose, 110 songs of wee sings and the curricula of English and Music of elementary school are analyzed, and the results became the basis of establishing standards. Four standards are established and each standard divided into several steps according to the degree of complexity. And the degree of complexity of two songs are figured out to know the possibility of application.

  • SGML(Standard Generalized Markup Language) is the ISO standard fer describing the logical structure of documents and is also adopted as the CALS standard for document description. Since then, there have been growing interests in SGML application in a variety of fields. However because SGML doesn't provide a standard method for describing various processing informations, ie, formatting and transformation, most applications have applied methods that are system dependent. Recently, ISO defined DSSSL(Document Style Semantics and Specification Language) as a standard mechanism to specify the formatting, transformation and retrieval of structured documents. Therefore, in this paper, we present a DSSSL processing system far style control of structured documents such as SGML documents. The system processes DSSSL style sheet that describes layout of documents and browses the result of its application to a SGML document. We have conducted tests on a lot of SGML documents and DSSSL style sheets successfully. Now, we are developing the SGML document management system that supports creation, editing, storage and retrieval of SGML document based upon the DSSSL processor and the SGML parser which we have developed.

  • Recently companies are aggressively Pushing ahead with integrating the systematical applications of internal and external information systems such as Data level, Application level, Process level in the company, Process level between companies. The EAI solution is generally considered as the necessary tool to integrate companies, but the appraisal standard for the EAI solution has not Vet settled in Korea, so the companies have difficulty in deciding whether to adopt the EAI solution or not. Through this report, we first introduce the KRA Project as the best practice in making an application of the settled standard to evaluate and adopt the EAI solution, and then suggest that it can be adapted to companies considering applying to the EAI solution.

  • This paper discusses how to develop a standard time for face cutting. The discussion focusses especially on the useful experert and law data for automated generate standard time purposes. Make standard time is a means to realize the process planning. Also process planning is a process which expresses design. In past times, a process planning was done using only experience of expert. But nowadays many people try to make automated process planning. This paper discusses standard time of the face cutting, but except making process sequence. In order to make standard time, some rules have to be generated and some industrial data found out. So we can calulate standard time in die. This is to easer and to correct calulate standard time. Using some rules that are application oriented to every parts of die.

An Open Standard-based Terrain Tile Production Chain for Geo-referenced Simulation

  • The needs for digital models of real environment such as 3D terrain or cyber city model are increasing. Most of applications related with modeling and simulation require virtual environment constructed from geospatial information of real world in order to guarantee reliability and accuracy of the simulation. The most fundamental data for building virtual environment, terrain elevation and orthogonal imagery is acquired from optical sensor of satellite or airplane. Providing interoperable and reusable digital model is important to promote practical application of high-resolution satellite imagery. This paper presents the new research regarding representation of geospatial information, especially for 3D shape and appearance of virtual terrain. and describe framework for constructing real-time 3D model of large terrain based on high-resolution satellite imagery. It provides infrastructure of 3D simulation with geographical context. Web architecture, XML language and open protocols to build a standard based 3D terrain are presented. Details of standard-based approach for providing infrastructure of real-time 3D simulation using high-resolution satellite imagery are also presented. This work would facilitate interchange and interoperability across diverse systems and be usable by governments, industry scientists and general public.
