The original Fog Stability Index (FSI) is formulated as FSI=$2(T-T_d)+2(T-T_{850})+WS_{850}$, where $T-T_d$ is dew point deficit (temperature-dew point temperature), $T-T_{850}$ is atmospheric stability measure (temperature-temperature at 850 hPa altitude) and $WS_{850}$ is wind speed at 850 hPa altitude. As a way to improve fog prediction at Incheon International Airport (IIA), we develop the modified FSI for IIA, using the meteorological data at IIA for two years from June 2011 to May 2013, the first one year for development and the second one year for validation. The relative contribution of the three parameters of the modified FSI is 9: 1: 0, indicating that $WS_{850}$ is found to be a non-contributing factor for fog formation at IIA. The critical success index (CSI) of the modified FSI is 0.68. Further development is made to consider the fact that fogs at IIA are highly influenced by advection of moisture from the Yellow Sea. One added parameter after statistical evaluation of the several candidate parameters is the dew point deficit at a buoy over the Yellow Sea. The relative contribution of the four parameters (including the new one) of the newly developed FSI is 10: 2: 0.5: 6.4. The CSI of the new FSI is 0.50. Since the developmental period of one year is too short, the FSI should be refined more as the data are accumulated more.
A necessity of remote control robots or various searching robots etc. that accomplish works given instead of human under long distance and extreme environment such as volcano, universe, deep-sea exploration and nuclear power plant etc. is increasing, and so the development and the research regarding these mobile robots are actively progressing. The wheel mobile robot or the track mobile robot have a sufficient energy efficiency under this en, but also have a lot of limits to accomplish works given which are caused from the restriction of mobile ability. Therefore, recently many researches for the walking robot with superior mobility and energy efficiency on the terrain, which is uneven or where obstacles, inclination and stairways exist, have been doing. The research for these walking robots is separated into fields of mechanism and control system, gait research, circumference environment and system condition recognition etc. greatly. It is a research field that the gait research among these is the centralist in actual implementation of walking robot unlike different mobile robots. A research field for gait of walking robot is classified into two parts according to the nature of the stability and the walking speed, static gait or dynamic gait. While the speed of a static gait is lower than that of a dynamic gait, a static gait which moves the robot to maintain a static stability guarantees a superior stability relatively. A dynamic gait, which make the robot walk controlling the instability caused by the gravity during the two leg supporting period and so maintaining the stability of the robot body spontaneously, is suitable for high speed walking but has a relatively low stability and a difficulty in implementation compared with a static gait. The quadruped walking robot has a strong point that can embody these gaits together. In this research, we will develope an autonomous quadruped robot with an asaptibility to the environment by selectry appropriate gait, element such as duty factor, stride, trajectory, etc.
Welding quality is closely related to the arc state. So, it is very important to estimate the arc state in real time. In the short circuit transfer region of CO2 are welding, the spatter , as it is well known, is mainly generated on an instance of short circuit or on an instance that the are is ignited after short circuit, or on the cases of an instantaneous short circuit. If the short circuit period or the arc time is irregular, the spatter is generated more than it is regular. Thus there is a close relationship of the amount of the spatter generation with the arc stability. In this paper, to develop the index for estimating the arc stability in short circuit transfer range Of CO2 arc welding, the welding current and are voltage waveforms were measured and the spatter generated was captured and measured. The correlation analysis of the measured amount of the spatter with the factors (the components and the standard deviations of the components) was performed, and the factors that have a considerable influence on the spatter generation among all factors were selected. And some cases of models consisted of the factors were presented, and a mathematical index model which can make an estimation the amount of the spatter from these models with multiple regression analysis. Also, it was compared how much the amount of the spatter generated under the selected welding conditions do these index models fit, and the index model to estimate the arc stability which represent the spatter generation most appropriately was developed

Significances were assessed by the Wilcoxon signed rank test on SPSS ver. 20.0. Results: Both groups had favorable changes of TMJ symptoms after orthognathic surgery. And postoperative position of condyle had good stability during follow-up period. Conclusion: 2 jaw surgery without preceding treatments for TMD can have therapeutic effect for TMD patients with class III malocclusion.

PURPOSE. To determine the change in stability of single-stage, three different design of implant systems in humans utilizing resonance frequency analysis for early healing period(24 weeks), without loading. MATERIAL AND METHODS. Twenty-five patients were included into this study. A total of 45 implants, three different design of implant systems(group A,C,R) were placed in the posterior maxilla or mandible. The specific transducer for each implant system was used. ISQ(implant stability quotient) reading were obtained for each implant at the time of surgery, 3, 6, 8, 10, 12, 24 weeks postoperatively. Data were analyzed for different implant type, bone type, healing time, anatomical locations. RESULTS. For each implant system, a two-factor mixed-model ANOVA demonstrated that a significant effect on ISQ values(group A=0.0022, C=0.017, R=0.0018). For each implant system, in a two-factor mixed model ANOVA, and two-sample t-test, the main effect of jaw position(P > .005) on ISQ values were not significant. CONCLUSIONS. All the implant groups A, C and R, the change patterns of ISQ over time differed by bone type. Implant stability increased greatly between week 0 and week six and showed slow increase between week six and six months(plateau effect).
Objectives: Scolopendra subspinipes mutilans (S. subspinipes mutilans) is known as a traditional medicine and includes various amino acids, peptides and proteins. The amino acids in the pharmacopuncture extracted from S. subspinipes mutilans by using derivatization methods were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively by using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) over a 12 month period to confirm its stability. Methods: Amino acids of pharmacopuncture extracted from S. subspinipes mutilans were derived by using O-phthaldialdehyde (OPA) & 9-fluorenyl methoxy carbonyl chloride (FMOC) reagent and were analyzed using HPLC. The amino acids were detected by using a diode array detector (DAD) and a fluorescence detector (FLD) to compare a mixed amino acid standard (STD) to the pharmacopuncture from centipedes. The stability tests on the pharmacopuncture from centipedes were done using HPLC for three conditions: a room temperature test chamber, an acceleration test chamber, and a cold test chamber. Results: The pharmacopuncture from centipedes was prepared by using the method of the Korean Pharmacopuncture Institute (KPI) and through quantitative analyses was shown to contain 9 amino acids of the 16 amino acids in the mixed amino acid STD. The amounts of the amino acids in the pharmacopuncture from centipedes were 34.37 ppm of aspartate, 123.72 ppm of arginine, 170.63 ppm of alanine, 59.55 ppm of leucine and 57 ppm of lysine. The relative standard deviation (RSD %) results for the pharmacopuncture from centipedes had a maximum value of 14.95% and minimum value of 1.795% on the room temperature test chamber, the acceleration test chamber and the cold test chamber stability tests. Conclusion: Stability tests on and quantitative and qualitative analyses of the amino acids in the pharmacopuncture extracted from centipedes by using derivatization methods were performed by using HPLC. Through research, we hope to determine the relationship between time and the concentrations of the amino acids in the pharmacopuncture extracted from centipedes.
BACKGROUND: The stabilities of the two alkaloidal insecticides of S. flavescens including matrine and oxymatrine are important factor to establish expiry date and usage manual for crop protection. However, the environmental stability of the compounds had not been studied with the extract and its commercial biopesticide. METHODS AND RESULTS: The environmental stabilities of the two alkaloids were performed with extract of S. flavescens, and its two commercial biopesticides both in controlled aquatic and soil conditions. The half-lives of the total matrines for the extract and its two commercial biopesticides were estimated over 200 days both under aerobic and anaerobic water condition. Under dry soil condition, the initial decay rates of the matrines were calculated 0.0804-0.1275 ($t_{1/2}$ 5.4-8.6 days), and the half-lives under wet soil condition were calculated 33.0-231 days. Total soil bacteria on the wet soil ranged 6.0-8.0 log CFU/g-soil during the experiments period. CONCLUSION: The aquatic mixture of the extract showed excellent stability both with the extract and its biopesticides, however, the stability of soil mixture were shorter than the aquatic mixture, suggesting that soil metal consider as a catalyst for the degradation of the two alkaloids.
