고추중 잔류농약의 경감에 미치는 감광작용의 효과 (Effect of Photosensitization on the Diminution of Pesticide Residues on Red Pepper)

  • 재배중인 고추표면의 농약잔류물을 인위적으로 경감시키기 위하여 몇몇 감광제 (photosensitizer, PS)의 활성을 조사하였다. 살균제 dithianon, triflumizole 및 triforine을 고추에 4회 살포한 후 선발된 감광제를 1회 살포하고, 감광제 살포 후 0, 1, 3, 7, 15일에 시료를 채취하여 그 잔류량을 분석하였다. 회수율은 $76.6{\sim}78.3%$인 dithianon 외에는 $90.7{\sim}98.5%$로서 양호하였다. Dithianon의 경우, PS-1 (10 ppm) 살포 후 1일에 그 잔류량은 대조구의 76%이었다. Triflumizole의 경우, PS-4 (50 ppm) 살포 후 1일에 잔류량은 대조구의 48%이었다. Triforine의 경우, PS-3 (100 ppm) 살포 후 1일에 잔류량은 대조구의 55%이었다. 이들 결과로 미루어 볼 때 감광제의 작용은 농약의 종류 및 농약이 잔류해 있는 매체에 따라 달라짐을 알 수 있었다.

시설잎들깨 재배의 퇴비 시용에 의한 암모니아 배출량 (Estimation of Ammonia Emission with Compost Application in Plastic House for Leafy Perilla Cultivation)

  • BACKGROUND: Concerns have been raised about the impact of recent high concentrations of fine dust on human health. Ammonia(NH3) reacts with sulfur oxides and nitrogen compounds in the atmosphere to form ultrafine ammonium sulfate and ammonium nitrate (PM2.5). There is a growing need for accurate estimates of the amount of ammonia emitted during agricultural production. Therefore, in this study, ammonia emissions generated from the cultivation of leafy perilla in plastic houses were determined. METHODS AND RESULTS: Cow manure compost, swine manure compost, and poultry manure compost each at 34.6 ton ha-1, the amount commonly used by farmers in the field, was sprayed on the soil surface. Just after spraying cow manure compost, swine manure compost, and poultry manure compost, the ammonia was periodically measured and analyzed to be 22.5 kg ha-1, 22.8 kg ha-1, and 85.2 kg ha-1, respectively. The emission factors were estimated at 70.0 kg-NH3 ton-N, 62.8 kg-NH3 ton-N, and 234.1 kg-NH3 ton-N, respectively. Most ammonia was released in the two weeks after application of the compost and then the amount released gradually decreased. CONCLUSION: Therefore, it is necessary to improve the emission factor through a study on the estimation of ammonia emission by type of livestock manure and major farming types such as rice fields and uplands, and to update data on the production, distribution, and sales of livestock manure.

Development of an Automated Measurement System for Dilution Process and Spraying Amount of Disinfectant

  • Purpose: The objectives of this study were to develop an automated disinfectant dilution system, and an automated data management system for spraying amount for resolving uncertainty problem. Methods: Proper diluting rate was made by a controlled volume pump for liquid disinfectant and a screw conveyer pump for solid disinfectant. The water capacity of disinfecting system of 400 L was controlled by two water level sensors. The water quantity of water tank was controlled by the signals which were produced by the water level sensors. Signals were processed by Labview Programming, and ON/OFF of solenoid valve that was used for controlling water supplying to water tank, was controlled by SSR. The operating time of pumps for disinfectant was controlled quantitatively. A turbine flowmeter was used for development of automated measurement system for spraying amount of disinfectant. In order to save the flowmeter data and to control the spraying system, a multi-function data logger was used, and it was processed and saved in Excel file by a program developed in this study. Results: Labview 2010 was used for programming to control the automated measurement system for spraying amount of disinfectant. Results showed that the relationship between flowmeter value and time had a significant linear relationship such as 0.99 of $R^2$. Generally, 6.74 L/s of diluted disinfectant is sprayed for a vehicle passing through the disinfection system (about 15 seconds). Test results showed that average error between the measured spraying amount and the flowmeter data was 50 mL, and the range of error was 1.3%. Since the amount and time of spraying could be saved in real-time by using the spreadsheet files which could not be modified arbitrarily, it made possible to judge objectively whether the disinfection spraying was performed or not. Test results of spraying liquid and solid disinfectant showed that the errors between the measured discharge rate and the theoretical one were ranged within 3-4% for various dilution rates. Conclusions: The disinfection system developed would be working accurately. The automated spraying data base management system satisfied the purpose of this study. The automated dilution process system developed in this study could discharge liquid and solid disinfectant with accurate dilution rate, relatively.

파프리카 시설재배지에서 약제 살포방법에 의한 해충방제 효과와 최적 살포함량 (Pest Control Effect and Optimal dose by Pesticide Dispersion Spray Method in the Paprika Cultivation)

  • 유리온실내에서 파프리카에 살포되는 분무기의 종류에 따라 살포되는 농약 부착량과 해충방제정도에 대하여 검토하였다. 또한 해충의 최적방제조건에서 단위면적당 농약함량을 최적화하기 위한 시험이 시도되었다. 파프리카 시설재배지에 두 종류의 분무기로 적절하게 7개구간으로 나누어 3반복 실험을 수행하였다. 농약 살포할 때 발생되는 사각지대를 감수지로 조사하였을 때 무인연무기는 하우스내의 식물에 골고루 부착하지 못하였으며 고압식 U자형분무기 모든 식물에 충분하게 부착되었다. 또한 살포된 농약 잔류조건에서 모든 부분에 최저잔류농도허용치를 초과하지 않았다. 살포조건에 따른 해충방제에서 담배가루이와 목화진딧물은 미세한 물방울 형태로 분무되는 무인연무기 Pyrifluquinazon 10% 입상수화제를 살포하였을 때 감수지가 청색으로 변한 부분은 각각 82.5%와 81.2%이며, 중간부분은 각각 53.0%와 42.6%의 방제효과가 나타났다. 그러나 농약이 부착되지 않은 아래 부분은 해충발생이 방제전보다 더 증가하였다. 한편 농가에서 하나의 약제를 수년 동안 반복하여 사용한 경우에는 약액이 충분하게 부착되었어도 매우 저조한 방제효과로 저항성 경향이 나타났다. 단위면적당 최적 살포량을 위한 실험에서는 9그루 파프리카 잎에서 약액이 흘러내릴 정도로 충분하게 살포하였을 때는 5 l에서 81.8% 그리고 1/2물량인 2.5 l에서는 84.5%로 매우 유사한 방제효과로 나타났다.

살충제 Flubendiamide의 복숭아 품종에 따른 잔류양상 (Residue Patterns of Insecticide Flubendiamide by Varieties of Peaches)

  • 표면의 형태가 다른 복숭아 3품종을 선정하여 살충제flubendiamide의 잔류양상을 조사하고 또한 전착제 사용에 따른 잔류량을 조사하였다. 복숭아 표면의 형태는 현미경으로 관찰한 결과 창방, 월미 품종의 순으로 털이 많았으며, 천홍품종은 털이 없는 것으로 나타났다. Flubendiamide의 잔류량은 털이 많은 창방에서 가장 높게 나타나 0.54 mg/kg이었으며, 월미에서 0.43 mg/kg, 그리고 천홍에서 0.10 mg/kg이었다. flubendiamide와 전착제 polyoxy ethylene methylpoly siloxane를 함께 처리를 하였을 때, 각 품종별 복숭아에 대한 농약 잔류량은 창방에서는 전착제의 사용유무에 관계없이 0.55 mg/kg로 거의 변화가 없었으며, 월미에서는 0.53 mg/kg으로 0.10 mg/kg 증가하였다. 천홍에서는 0.48 mg/kg 으로 나타나 전착제의 사용으로 잔류량이 4.8배 증가되었다. 이러한 결과는 전착제의 사용이 표면에 털이 있는 품종에서는 농약의 잔류량을 증가시키지 않았으나, 표면에 털이 없는 품종에서는 잔류량을 증가시키는 것을 보여주었다.

분사주조한 입자강화 알루미늄 복합재료의 미세조직 특성 (Characteristics in Microstructure of Particle Reinforced Al Matrix Composites Fabricated by Spray-Cast Forming Process)

  • Aluminium-silicon alloy(JIS AC8A) matrix composites reinforced with SiC particles were fabricated by spray-cast forming process, and the microstructure of powders and preforms produced were studied by using an optical and scanning electron microscopy. SiC particles were co-sprayed by mixed phase injection method during the spray casting process. Most of the composite powders formed by this mixed phase injection method exhibit morphology of particle-embedded type, and some exhibits the morphology of particle attached type due to additional attachment of the SiC particles on the surface of the powders in flight. The preforms deposited were resulted in dispersed type microstructure. The pre-solidified droplets and the deposited preform of SiC-reinforced aluminium alloy exhibit finer equiaxed grain size than that of unreinforced aluminium alloy. Eutectic silicons of granular type are crystallized at the corner of the aluminum grains in the preforms deposited, and some SiC particles seem to act as nucleation sites for primary/eutectic silicon during solidification. Such primary/eutectic silicons seem to retard grain growth during the continued spray casting process. It is envisaged from the microstructural observations for the deposited preform that the resultant distribution of SiC injected particles in the Al-Si microsturcture is affected by the amount of liquid phase in the top part of the preform and by the solidification rate of the preform deposited.

적조 방제용 황토살포가 연안 저서생태계에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Loess Application in Coastal Benthic Ecosystem)

  • Large scale of fish kills by red tides has been occurred every year in coastal water fisheries of Korea. To suppress red tide spreading out over the south coastal water of the Korean Peninsula large amount of loess has been applied every year because loess is known to be effective in removing red tide organisms. Effects of loess application in ecosystem of underwater near sea shore were investigated with some physical characteristics of loess. Loess used for the red tide reduction consisted of very fine particles, of which size was mostly less than 0.1 mm. Particles of loess blocked light penetration, which is essential for the underwater ecosystem. Loess also pushed pH down by the hydrolysis activities of aluminium and iron It was found that underwater ecosystems where loess was applied near sea shore were devastated. Sea plants such as sea weeds were gone leaving only their roots. Clams and snails were dead under the loess dust blanket. And fishes were not found at all where loess has been sprayed lot long time. It was found that even if loess has some capacity to reduce red tide temporarily, loess application should be slopped to protect underwater ecosystems.

NATM 산악터널의 숏크리트 투입율에 관한 연구 (A study on Actual Quantity of Shotcrete Sprayed in a NATM tunnel)

  • This study has analysed actual overbreak, shotcrete rebound and the ratio between the actual quantity of shotcrete to designed shotcrete measured during a NATM tunnel construction. The measured shotcrete rebound was about 7.2% in average which was about half the allowable rebound (15%), showing shotcrete spraying was performed well. Based on the measurement of excavated tunnel shape, average overbreak was about 28.5cm after tunnel excavation by drill and blasting method. This was about 260% of allowable overbreak. In addition, due to the rebound and overbreak actual amount of shotcrete used in the tunnelling work was about 116.5 % of the designed value. According to the field measurement the ratio of actual shotcrete to designed value showed some relation with standard support pattern, but the size of overbreak did not show the correlation with standard support pattern. Hence current design specifications stating the size of overbreak based entirely on standard support pattern should perhaps be reestablished. The insight into the design guideline regarding overbreak and shotcrete.

디젤-분무 수소-공기 확산화염에서 생성된 철-함유 탄소입자의 촉매 산화반응 특성 (Catalytic oxidation kinetics of iron-containing carbon particles generated from diesel-sprayed hydrogen-air diffusion flame)

  • In this study, we devoted to kinetic measurement of the catalytic oxidation of iron-containing flame soot particles and better understanding the role of catalytic particles on carbon oxidation in particular at low temperature, targeting on autothermal regeneration of diesel particulate filter by diesel exhaust gas. Carbon-based Fe-containing particles generated by spraying ferrocene-doped diesel fuel in an oxy-hydrogen flame are tested and compared with a commercial carbon black powder for thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Induced coupled plasma-Atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES), and High-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM). As a result, we found that a small amount of the ferrocene addition led to significant reductions in a on-set temperature and an activation energy of the carbon oxidation as well. An oxygenated surface complex forming at the particle surface could be thought as active species that would be readily consumed in particular at low temperature.

  • This study is concerned about the characteristics of ultrasonic-energy-added W/O type emulsified fuel. The distilled water was mixed with diesel oil by using ultrasonic energy fuel feeding system and then the SMD of sprayed droplets was measured to find out atomization characteristics of emulsified fuel by using the Malvern 2600 system. The capacitance value was measured to verify stability of the same specimen by using the digital LCR meter, EDC1630 additionally. The main results are as follows; 1) The more measuring distance increases between one hole nozzle tip and analyser bearm, the more SMD increases. 2) The more water content increases, the more capacitance value increases depending on the time. Main Parameters of the study are the amount of water content $0{\sim}30%$ by 5% in emulsified fuel, and the measurement distance, $20{\sim}140mm$ by 10mm or 20mm between nozzle tip and analyser beam.
