  • The extensive use of polymeric matrix composites in the athletic sector may be attributed to its high strength-to-weight ratio, production economy, and a longer lifespan than conventional materials. This study explored the impact of carbon nanotubes on the properties of different composite field sports equipment components. The test specimens were fabricated using the compression molding technique. The insertion of carbon nanotubes increases mechanical properties related to the process parameters to account for an improvement in the stick sections' overall performance. The dynamic response of functionally graded reinforced nanocomposite wire structure is examined in this paper on the bases of high-order hyperbolic beam theory lined to the size-dependent nonclassical nonlocal theory under the external mechanical load due to the physical activities. Finally, the impact of different parameters on the stability of nanocomposite structures is discussed in detail.

  • This study identifies the socio-psychological factors on athleisure wear purchase behavior and focuses on the effects of participation motives in sports leisure activity. This research compares athleisure wear purchase behavior among the three groups segmented by participation motives for sports and leisure activity. An online survey on male and female consumers between the ages of 20 and 50 provided 319 responses that were analyzed using SPSS 20.0. The factor analysis and reliability analysis, cluster analysis, variance analysis, Duncan test, and Chi square test were conducted. The results were: 1) From a result of the factor analysis on consumers' sports leisure participation motives clearly showed factorial structures including social interaction, physical health, and pleasant feeling. 2) Cluster analysis indicated three groups of participation motives in sports and leisure activity such as passive motivating type, social interaction type, and wellness type. 3) Consumer groups showed significant differences in purchase reasons, preferred brands, product items, and pursued performance attributes for purchasing athleisure wear products.

  • Marina and marina clubs are the essential structures to meet increasing marin tourism and marin leisure sports demand. According to the domestic situation, marina and marina clubs are divided into 6 types such as small sports type, small complex type, midium sports type, midium complex type, large sports type, large complex type. As a result of analysis of domestic three marina clubs, averagely marina facilities take 21% and commercial facilities take 79% of total space. In the short term, marina club should be designed focusing on complex program. Marina club will be for long-term transformed into marin leisure sports program. Additionally, it is certain that floating marina club is an architecture to have water-friendly space and to maximize marin tourism and marin leisure sports.

  • Nanomachines can be pretty helpful in curing diseases. Nanomototors, thanks to their self-propelled feature, are one of the best structures to be utilized as drug delivery devices. These devices have been employed in biomedical application as they can improve the efficiency of drug delivery. In this study stability of a designed nanomotor in the bloodstream is investigated when the physical activities have been done considering the physical activities. Sports training, as well as exercise enhance the bloodstream, and this factor can significantly impact the drug-delivery quality. The mathematical simulation of nanomotor movement in the condition of the sports is done based on the mechanical sciences, and the impact of various essential parameters is discussed in detail.

  • In this study, we provided examples of light emitting diodes (LEDS) in everyday sportswear and confirmed their usefulness to provide functionality, aesthetics, and entertainment. One type of sports jacket and one set of sportswear were designed and manufactured using LEDs and made available to the general public for use in daily life to provide functionality, aesthetics, and entertainment. To generate digital images, a textural design of a circuit image was developed and applied, and the LEDs were placed on the developed textile in an attempt to merge the LEDs with the design. The product was equipped with a tilt sensor and produced a randomly lighted jacket with LEDs that adjusted according to movement. The LEDs turned on in the desired location by lifting the arm during night sports activities. The tricolor of NEO PIXEL LEDs lit randomly and its rhythmical design could be maximized when moving or exercising outdoors, and also for entertainment. The role of creating interest for lively and unexpected pleasures and the aesthetic beauty of LED lights were also obtained. There was no inconvenience or restriction of movement by LEDs or internal structures using the hot-melting technique, and the removable attachment of the device made it easier to wash.

  • In the past, the progressive collapse resulting from local failures during accidents has caused many tragedies and loss of life. Although long-span spatial grid structures are characterised by a high degree of static indeterminacy, the sudden failure of key members may lead to a catastrophic progressive collapse. For this reason, it is especially necessary to research the progressive collapse resistance capacity of long-span spatial grid structures. This paper presents an evaluation method of important members and a novel dynamic analysis method for simulating the progressive collapse of long-span spatial grid structures. Engineering cases were analysed to validate these proposed method. These proposed methods were eventually implemented in the progressive collapse analysis of the main stadium for the Universiade Sports Center. The roof of the structure was concluded to have good resistance against progressive collapse. The novel methods provide results close to practice and are especially suitable for the progressive collapse analysis of long-span spatial grid structures.

  • Orthopaedic medicine was developed and published by James Cyriax, a British Orthopaedic Physician on 1929. Orthopaedic medicine is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue lesions. These disorders affect a substantial proportion of all patients in general and in particular, physiotherapy and sports clinics. In broad terms these disorders em trace conditions. such as arthritis. rheumatism. fibrositis. backache. lumbago, sciatica, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, strained wrist, sprains, aches, inflanmation and sports injuries generally. The soft Moving tissues share one thing in common - they are all radiotranslucent and the tissues in question are the joint capsule, the ligaments, the fasciae, dural sheath. These structures can cause pain but none of them is visible on the radiograph. Dr. Cyriax divided all soft tissues into two basic types : 1) Contractile tissue, 2) Inert or noncontractile tissue. The mechanism of diagnosis is tension applied manually. The physician subjects each tissue about the incriminated joint to tension in turn which they call 'Selective tension' with Cyriax's assessment, a more definitive diagnosis can be obtained and proper treatment can be implemented.
